Monday
At Crimson Lights, Neil told Ashley that he was worried about how Cane and Lily were doing after the tornado, but she reminded him that they could take care of themselves. She was worried about Abby, but Neil assured her that Daniel would take care of her daughter. Ash went to call Tucker and Neil admitted that he doesn't trust her new beau. Ashley defended Tucker; Neil urged her to watch her back.
Tucker and Diane had sex in his apartment, but their time together was interrupted when the tornado blew out the windows of his home. Meanwhile, Abby and Daniel went to search for Ashley at Tucker's. When they knocked on his door, they were shocked to see Diane at his place. Abby asked what she was doing there and Tucker lied that they were having a business meeting. Abby didn't believe them, but Diane added that they were working on her contract. After they left, Diane hoped that Abby wouldn't say anything to Ashley. "What's there to tell?" Tucker shrugged. Diane agreed to keep their tryst a secret. "I can see already that I'll enjoy working for you," she cooed. Tucker replied that their night together was a one-time thing, and she agreed.... Abby believed that Tucker was cheating on her mom, but Daniel urged her not to jump to conclusions. Ashley arrived at the apartment building and overheard their conversation. She then went upstairs to see what Tucker and Diane were up to. Ashley asked about his "visitor" and Diane said hello. Ash then entered his apartment and saw the broken windows, and was glad that they were okay. Diane and Tucker played up the whole "business meeting" arrangement. Ashley believed their story, but Abby was suspicious of the other woman. She warned Tucker that he won't get away with it, but Tucker called it a "misunderstanding." Abby angrily stormed out and Daniel followed her. He implored her to butt out, but Abby feared that her mom would get hurt again.
Mac sat with Reed at the G.C.A.C and tried to keep him calm. While the little boy napped, she thought back to when J.T had asked her to marry him — and she'd turned him down. Meantime, J.T was unconscious after his car crashed and he was electrocuted en route to check on Cane and Lily. Cane and Lily drove away from the cottage. She wondered why he was being so quiet and he thought back to his encounter with Blake, the cattle rustler, and how Blake had noted that Cane was still lying to Lily. Cane insisted that he was fine. Lily noticed that there had been a bad car accident They went to check on the passenger and realized that it was J.T. Lily went to call an ambulance, but her cell phone was out, so she went to search for another phone. Cane grabbed a branch so that he could knock the electrical wires off of J.T's car. He lifted J.T out of the car and performed CPR on him. Lily called her father and told Neil that she and Cane are okay; she then called Mac and gave her the bad news about J.T. Mac wanted to meet them there, but Lily instructed her to meet them at the hospital instead.... As Cane tried to wake J.T., J.T had an out of body experience. He walked toward a white light... Paul found Mac at the club and she filled him in on J.T's situation.... J.T turned away from the light and began breathing again. Lily returned and was happy to see him alive; she promised J.T that they'd get him to a hospital.
Nick found Sharon's overturned car, then called Paul, who suggested that he see if she took shelter in a nearby barn. In the barn, Sharon held a crying Faith and was grateful that her daughter was okay. However, Adam, who'd thrown himself on top of Faith when the tornado had hit, was unconscious. He soon opened his eyes and struggled to sit up. He was relieved that Faith was alright. Nick pounded on the door; Sharon handed Faith to Adam as she went to answer it. Nick pulled her into an embrace, but became angry when he spied Adam with the baby. Sharon explained how Adam had saved Faith's life. "Your brother's a hero," she stated. Nick didn't agree and couldn't understand why Sharon had offered to drive Adam to his meeting. Sharon was grateful that Adam had been with her, but Nick believed that they would've been safe had they just driven home without Adam. The EMTs soon arrived. Sharon wanted to go with Adam to the hospital. Nick took Faith and implored Sharon to come home with them.
Cane, Lily, Neil and Mac went to the hospital and waited for word on J.T. Lily called Cane a hero, but he didn't think that he was worthy of the praise. Mac sat with an unconscious J.T and told him that she does want to marry him, and pleaded with him to recover. Just then, he opened his eyes and whispered, "I knew you'd come around." Aww.
Tuesday
After the storm hit, Victor stopped by to check on Billy and Victoria. She assured him that they were okay, but was worried about J.T and Reed. Mac called and gave her the bad news about J.T's accident. Victoria filled in her husband and father and Billy offered to drive her to the hospital.... Mac stayed with J.T in his hospital room and told him that he has some electrical burns. He asked if she was serious about getting married and she assured him that she is.
At the hospital, Katherine sat with a sleeping Murphy. Nina came to check on her and assured her that everyone is okay at the Chancellor Estate. Nina lamented that Ronan didn't want her checking up on him. Murphy awoke and Kay encouraged him to blink a code for them.... Meggie and a freaked-out Nikki were also at the hospital, in the lobby. Nikki broke down and informed Meggie that Victor has called off their elopement. Meggie hugged her and feigned sympathy. When Nikki went to fix her makeup, Meggie called Deacon and told him that their plan against Nikki and Victor was working. He was pleased and revealed that he'd pretended to be Nikki's drinking buddy by filling up a gin bottle with water. Meggie instructed him to continue to deal with Nikki while she handled Victor. After, she and Nikki went to see Murphy and at the sight of Meggie, he began to blink furiously. Kay and Nina tried to decipher what he was saying, but his heart monitor went crazy. Kay, Nina and Nikki stepped out and Meggie warned Murphy not to use Morse Code again, noting that she knew all of his tricks from when she'd been married to his son! She warned that if he tried to do it again, she'd go after Kay.... Kay got a call from Brock, who shared that he'd heard about the storm all the way out in Louisiana. Nina was surprised that the storm had been that bad and left to check on something; Kay, realizing that Nina was going to see Ronan, urged her not to do anything stupid. Later, Kay asked Murphy if he wanted to talk, but he blinked, "No."
Ronan and Heather were both busy at the police station post-storm. A man arrived, crying that his wife was trapped inside their crashed car. Heather and Ronan ran to help. In the process, Ronan cut his arm and Heather tended to it. When she asked him to remove his shirt, he joked that she wanted to see his body. As she wrapped up his arm, he apologized for "killing" Chance. Heather didn't want to talk about it and walked off — but turned around to glance back at him as she left the station. Later, Nina stopped by and asked if Ronan could deliver a message from her to Chance. He refused. "He's gone. He's out of your life for good," Ronan reminded her. Nina pressed until Ronan finally agreed.
Deacon filled up another booze bottle with water. Nikki came by and shared that she's had a rough day. He offered her a drink and she eagerly accepted. She gulped it down, explaining that she wanted to feel nothing. She then got a call from Victoria, who told her about J.T and asked her to pick up Reed. Nikki said she couldn't because she was far from town and pretended that her cell phone was dying. She felt guilty afterwards for lying to her daughter and Deacon "comforted" her. They were about to kiss, but she pulled away and bolted out of his apartment. Meggie returned to the Newman Ranch and found the place a mess. When she heard Victor entering, she got down on the floor and pretended to have been injured in the storm. Victor lifted her up and checked her ankle to see if it was broken. He felt badly for having left her alone in the storm. Nikki soon returned home and happily embraced Victor. Meggie limped out of the living room, playing up her "injury." Victor assured a shaken Nikki that their kids were okay. She begged him to get married right away.
Victoria and Billy visited J.T. Mac stepped out so she could give Victoria a moment alone with her ex-husband. She planned to tell their son that J.T was a hero and recalled how he'd stayed with her while she'd been in a coma. "We had a lot of love," she sadly recalled. "I know we can't go back to that, but I'm sorry we got so far away from it." She promised to make things work with Reed, as well as Billy and Mac. After, Billy went to see him; J.T made Billy promise that he and Victoria would care for Reed if something happened to him. Billy was optimistic that J.T would get out of the hospital. In the lobby, Victoria comforted Mac and assured her that J.T would survive. Kay later ran into Mac and Mac gave her the bad news about J.T. Mac then gave her the good news about being pregnant, which Kay took to be a positive sign.
Victoria and Billy asked Kay if she knew where Nikki was. Kay replied that Nikki had been on her way home. Victoria was confused.... Victor agreed to fly to Las Vegas with Nikki. Meggie unhappily watched them kiss. She called Deacon and implored him to come up with a way to stop their wedding.
Wednesday
Phyllis used her new key to enter the Abbott mansion. Jack was pleased to see her. He asked where Summer was and she replied that her daughter was with a friend. She got down to business and asked Jack how they're going to get Diane to leave Genoa City, and admitted that she'd told Tucker exactly what she thinks about Diane. She suggested that Jack talk to Tucker, but Jack noted that McCall had already hired her. Phyllis concluded that Jack wants Diane to stick around so he can see Kyle and stated that Tucker can send Diane on a long business trip. However, Jack didn't want to separate his son from his mom. Phyllis reminded him how Diane had framed her for arson and feared that she'd do something like that again. Jack urged her not to worry about Diane.... At the G.C.A.C Kyle played video games as Diane discussed their plans to stay in town. Kyle lamented that he misses his friends in Toronto. Diane felt badly, but promised that their new life would be wonderful. Kyle offered to take his "best girl" to a movie. Diane chuckled and said that he sounded just like Jack, but added that she already had plans for them. Later, Diane and Kyle stopped by the manse and Phyllis feigned enthusiasm. Diane invited Jack to join them for school shopping. He agreed as Phyllis plastered on a fake grin. After the guys headed out, Phyllis asked Diane if she was really staying in town. "Best decision I've made in ages," Diane replied. "We'll see about that," Phyllis said.
Skye returned to the club after having stayed over at an investor's home. She was annoyed with Adam for not caring where she'd been during the storm. He informed her that he'd intended to meet with Skye for the meeting after all, but after getting a ride from Sharon, ended up in the hospital. He filled her in on how he'd saved Faith's life. Skye was not moved by the story and stated that Sharon still won't forgive him for all of the things he'd done. She called him "delusional" and stormed out.... Nick called Sharon to check in on her and admitted that seeing her car flipped over scared him. He again wished she'd gone straight home instead of giving Adam a lift. After, Nick met with Victor at Gloworm and complained to his dad about Adam. Victor urged him to be patient and was sure that Adam would eventually get what he deserves. He told Nick that he and Nikki are eloping in Las Vegas. Nick was pleased, but surprised that Nikki was skipping a large wedding. Victor stated that he's proud of Nick.
Victoria ran into Sharon at Crimson Lights and was glad to hear that Faith is okay. Victoria reported that J.T. has burns, but is doing okay. Deacon entered and declared that the storm had been "fun." He thought back to Nikki drinking at his place. Victoria wondered what kind of "lunatic" would want to hang out with him. After he left, Victoria asked Sharon about her friendship with Adam. Sharon defended herself and explained that all she did was give her ex a ride. Victoria warned that Adam would use his new hero status as a means to get Sharon back.
At the Newman Ranch, Meggie asked Nikki what she could do to "help" after the storm. Nikki revealed that she and Victor are going to elope. When Meggie questioned the decision, Nikki asked what the problem was. Meggie noted that Nikki has been struggling lately, but Nikki insisted that she has a handle on her life — and that marrying Victor would make things better. Meggie agreed to help her get things together for the trip, but as soon as Nikki stepped away, Meggie called Deacon and said that they had to figure out a way to stop the wedding.... Nikki went to see Victoria, who asked why her mom had lied about her whereabouts the day before. Nikki again lied that she'd been in a taxi that had to take a detour. She shared that she and Victor are eloping the next day. Victoria asked if her mom would be having a real wedding if she and Abby weren't suing Victor. Nikki said that she just couldn't wait to get married.
Skye went to meet an investor in the same building as Newman Enterprises and ended up sharing an elevator with Victor. The power went out and they were stuck together. Skye began to panic as she revealed that she has a fear of being trapped in elevators. Victor warned her about Adam, but she didn't want to hear it. He asked why she wanted to come to Genoa City. Skye replied that the Newman name opens a lot of doors. "He doesn't love you," Victor noted. "He's a self-loathing bastard." He advised her to plan a future without Adam in it.... Nick paid Adam a visit at the club and warned his brother to stay away from Sharon. Adam assured him that he's not going to try to get back into Sharon's life and screw it up, but isn't going to take orders from Nick. Meanwhile, Sharon went to the club and overheard their talk from the hallway. After Nick left, Sharon went to see Adam and thanked him for saving Faith's life. Adam promised to respect her wishes and keep his distance.... The power finally came back on in the elevator and when the doors opened, Nick was standing there. Skye got out and decided to take the stairs.
Jack enjoyed spending the day with Kyle. Diane smiled as she watched them bond in Crimson Lights. When Kyle stepped away, Jack warned Diane that she'd better be on her best behavior. Meanwhile, Phyllis found an unflattering photo of Diane and began to write a story about her rival.
Deacon and Meggie met to discuss their strategy. He instructed her to spike Nikki's drink early in the day. Meggie was prepared to strike.
Thursday
Lauren cut short her visit with Scott in Toronto so she could check on the Fenmore business, post storm. Jill chided that everything worked just fine in her sister's absence but was curious when Lauren didn't snipe back. Jill was shocked when Lauren hugged her instead and apologized for not being in town for Chance's funeral. Jill was touched and even teared up when Lauren revealed that she made a donation to the fallen officers fund in Chance's
name.
Victor and Nikki looked forward to eloping later that day. "I just cannot wait for us to be married," she chirped. When Nikki mentioned that she would wear a dress from her closet, Meggie suggested they shop for a new frock. Victor said he would check on Kay in the meantime. Nikki and Meggie went to Fenmore's, where Lauren was thrilled to hear about the elopement news. However, Jill griped that Nikki is simply obsessed with Victor and predicted that a divorce would soon follow. Meggie offered to make her boss a cup of hot tea and she secretly slipped booze into it. Before long, Nikki was asking for another cup. After Jill made a few more snarky comments, a buzzed Nikki lashed out with, "You have leeched your way through the Chancellors, the Abbotts, and now the Fenmores. You're really to be pitied, Jill. It must be very difficult to know that you will always be the outcast." A peeved Lauren considered her truce with Jill as officially over.
Neil was surprised to meet Lily's new bodyguard. She explained that the men Cane had sent to jail have followed him to Genoa City and asked if she and twins could lodge with Neil till Cane "gets this whole thing figured out." Neil quickly agreed but Lily worried that Cane hasn't told her the full story of what's really going on. She explained how she saw a man at the cottage but when Cane went out to investigate, he came back looking beat up and claimed no one was lurking about. Neil offered to try and get more info out of his son-in-law.
Kay explained Murphy's condition to Cane, who was distracted by memories of Blake's threats. Cane felt guilty when Kay extolled, "You know how lucky we are to have you in this family?" After Cane left, Victor appeared and Kay announced that Mackenzie is pregnant. Victor then shared that he and Nikki were eloping in Vegas that night. Kay was thrilled until Victor voiced his concern that Nikki might be drinking again but that she denied it.
Cane went online to find out how to create an alternate identity. He then perused death records and found a deceased person who was born in the same year (1973) as Cane. He called the hall of records, identified himself as James Collier (while covering his Aussie accent) and requested a birth certificate copy. After, Cane went to Neil's place, where he remained vague to his father-in-law's questions about what the criminals from Down Under really want.
After Nikki and Meggie left Fenmore's, Jill smelled alcohol in the tea cup. Jill then went to the Newman ranch and blabbed to Victor that Nikki had been hitting the sauce.... An unconscious Murphy dreamed about Meggie, in a wedding dress, saying, "I'm honored to become part of your family, Pops."... Neil admitted to Lily that he doesn't think Cane is lying about keeping info to himself. Meanwhile, Blake called Cane and hounded him about the money. Cane hung up and said out loud, "Katherine, please forgive me for what I have to do." ... Kay was elated when Murphy moved his finger.... Nikki returned home, where Victor asked if she had been drinking.
Friday
Phyllis walked into Gloworm and saw Diane lunching with Jack (they were discussing Kyle's new school). As Diane was leaving, Phyllis sniped that no one is buying her "sweetness and light routine." Tucker called Diane and wanted her to come over right away to sign her contract. Before leaving for her meeting, Diane expressed her concern to Jack that Phyllis's "toxic energy" could affect Kyle. Jack warned Diane not to make him choose between his son and Phyllis.
Nikki insisted to Victor that she hadn't been drinking. He revealed that it was Jill's accusation and Nikki claimed it was a lie. Meggie vouched that Nikki wasn't boozing it up at Fenmore's. Victor offered to get help for Nikki and she stormed out of the room. He grilled Meggie, who admitted that Nikki has been a lot more secretive lately.
Phyllis called the Toronto architectural firm where Diane worked and explained she was writing an article on their former employee. Later, Billy noticed that a new story had been posted on Restless Style's Web site. It was a feature about Diane's history of sins (like how she and Jack had anaffair when he was first married to Patty and tried to steal Victor's sperm), which Phyllis proudly copped to writing. Billy was angry that the story was online; he'd rather it had been a major cover story.
Ashley urged Abby to apologize to Tucker for accusing him of cheating with Diane. Abby still maintained that Tucker and Diane had "bed head" but Ash reminded that a tornado blew through his place. Seeing how much Tucker means to her mother, Abby agreed to apologize to him and left. Later, Ashley asked Victoria to stop the lawsuit before Abby gets scarred by the experience. Victoria noted that the mediation is tomorrow and that she won't be able to
talk to her father prior to that as he's leaving for Vegas to elope with Nikki tonight.
Abby showed up at Tucker's place and said she was sorry. Tucker accepted her apology and they hugged (although Abby's expression didn't look so sincere). Abby then nonchalantly tipped Tucker off to the story about Diane that was just posted on Restless Style.
Nikki decided to shop for a few last-minute things for her elopement and Meggie tagged along. They ended up at Gloworm where Meggie ordered a couple of club sodas and spiked one. She then sent a text of their whereabouts to Victor. Nikki asked Gloria if Deacon was around as she needed to talk to him. Glo reported that he was gone for the day so Nikki and Meggie headed out. Victor showed up later in search of Nikki and Gloria explained how she had asked for Deacon.
Jack stormed into the Restless Style office and blasted Phyllis for her article on Diane. Phyllis defended herself and insisted Diane is plotting something. Jack countered that Phyllis is the problem.... At Gloworm, Gloria mentioned to Billy that Nikki is drinking again and very chummy with Deacon. Billy threatened to write a bad article on Gloworm if Gloria spreads that gossip.... Ashley was thrilled to hear that Abby made amends with Tucker.... When Diane showed up to sign her contract, Tucker announced he
was rescinding his offer due to new personal information about her that had come to light.
While Meggie waited in the car, a soused Nikki staggered into Deacon's motel room. As she wailed about her life falling apart, Deacon plied her with more alcohol. After she passed out, Meggie helped Deacon get Nikki out of her clothes and into his bed. Meggie called Victor and tattled that Nikki has been in a motel room for quite a while. Victor charged over and kicked in Deacon's door, and found a naked Nikki in bed with Sharpe. Nikki came to and said she didn’t know what happened. Victor groused she had had been drinking and escorted her out of the room.
