Monday
Billy stopped by Restless Style to visit with Chloe and Cordelia. Meanwhile, Jack paid a visit to an extremely harried Phyllis.... Billy implored Chloe to finally sign their divorce papers. Chloe promised to get to them as soon as she gets a chance. Later, Billy saw how busy the women were and offered to make some calls for them. He then overheard Phyllis tell Chloe that she doesn't really want to work at Restless Style anymore.
At Newman Enterprises, a worried Victoria told Michael that the S.E.C. was accusing her of misrepresenting Victor's health to the stockholders. Michael concluded that someone was trying to make trouble for her. They then met with the S.E.C. Rep, who questioned Victoria about misleading the stockholders. Michael asked who her accuser was, but the rep refused to divulge the information. Michael replied that they couldn't give out Victor's information, either, and declared the meeting over. Victoria called
Nick to fill him in. Nick joined her and Michael at the office. Victoria and Nick discussed who could've set them up. Michael wondered if it was someone at the hospital, but the siblings agreed that it probably wasn't.
Adam was surprised when Sharon revealed that Nick was the one who'd turned Victor in to the feds several years before. Sharon assured Adam that as a father, Victor had the capacity to forgive his children — including Adam. Later, Adam looked at the "My Family" drawing that Cassie had made. Sharon was surprised that he could see; he explained that he could see very little and would eventually go blind. Sharon shared that Cassie had died in a car accident. Adam felt badly that she'd lost two daughters; Sharon replied that she'd actually had another little girl baby die a few years ago, so it was three altogether.
At the hospital, Ashley let Nick hold the baby again. She was surprised when he revealed that he and Sharon had also intended to name their daughter Faith.... Victor managed to get out of his hospital bed and told Nikki that he wants her by his side. Ashley then stopped by with Faith. She placed aith in his arms and said that the baby had gained some weight. Nikki stepped out to give them some space. Victor told Ashley that she and the girls can stay for as long as they want at the Newman Ranch. Ashley replied that she wants the ranch as part of their divorce settlement. Victor thought it was too early to discuss the terms of their divorce. She explained that she wanted her daughters to be raised there, just as Victoria and Nick had. Ashley then invited him to Faith's christening. After, Nikki returned and was appalled to hear that Ashley wants to stay at the ranch. Later, Victor called Michael and asked to see him.
Jack met with Traci at Crimson Lights. She shared that Steve had returned to New York and confided in Jack about how she was still having trouble processing Colleen's death. Jack invited her to return to work, but she planned to go back to her life in New York. Jack didn't want her to leave, but understood. Later, Billy joined them and the brothers rejoiced in the news of Ashley divorcing Victor. Jack again asked Billy to stay at Jabot, but Billy insisted on moving on. Billy then told Jack that he wants some money from his trust fund, but Jack refused. Billy was determined to find another way to get the money he needed.... Phyllis asked Chloe what was going on with her and Billy; Chloe said that she and Billy are both dating new people and have moved on. Phyllis warned her that when you share a child, you never really move on.
Nikki stopped by the ranch and reamed out Ashley for wanting to take the home from Victor. Ashley insisted that she cares for Victor, but also wants to give her and Victor's daughters the same lifestyle that Nick and Victoria had. Nikki declared that Victor would never give her the ranch. Ashley informed Nikki that she overheard Victor professing his love for Nikki at the hospital. "The two of you are never really apart and that's when I decided I'm so over it," Ashley stated and asked Nikki to leave.
Sharon invited Nick to Brad's house and revealed that she's renting the place. Nick was surprised to see Adam there, but was pleased to hear that Noah was going to be living with Sharon. Before leaving, Adam thanked Sharon for opening up about her life. Sharon later told Nick that she's doing well on her own and needs him to stop helping her.
When he returned to work, Adam questioned Victoria about the S.E.C. checking her out. She explained how she thought she was set up; Adam flashed back to when he made the call about her. He then offered to call one of his former Harvard classmates who worked with the S.E.C. Victoria was grateful for the help.... Michael asked Victor if he had any idea who'd called the S.E.C. Victor noted that in his business, you make a lot of enemies, and was eager to get out of the hospital. Newman then told Michael that he and Ashley are divorcing and asked Baldwin to handle the settlement.... Ashley went to the church to plan Faith's christening. Traci and Jack were pleased to hear that it would be that week so Traci could attend. Adam arrived at the church and revealed that he's Faith's godfather.
Billy approached Phyllis and offered to buy Restless Style from her. She and Chloe were shocked.... Victor informed Nikki that he's going to give Ashley the ranch if she wants it. He explained that he wants to start fresh.
Tuesday
At Restless Style, Nick told Phyllis that he's glad that his dad is getting better. Still, he realized that Phyllis was still upset with Victor for bringing Patty to town and indirectly getting Summer hurt. Phyllis insisted that she wants Victor to get better, as well. She then informed him that Billy wants to buy the magazine from her. Nick couldn't believe that she was really thinking of selling, but Phyllis noted that since Nick left to work at Newman full-time, she's been going at it alone. She also reminded him that Nikki has been out of town and Summer almost died at the Restless Style office. Nick feared that Phyllis would be giving up her dream.
At Crimson Lights, Billy kissed Mac. Chloe interrupted and asked if Billy shared his big news — then revealed that he wanted to buy Restless Style. Billy explained to Mac that Phyllis hasn't said yes yet, but he had a feeling that she'd go for it. Chloe stood by and continued to make snarky remarks, and accused Billy of wanting to be near her. "Shouldn't you be styling some unstylish celebrity?" Billy asked. Chloe took a call from Chance and left. After, Mac and Billy discussed the magazine. She thought it as an interesting idea, but advised him to really think about what he'd be getting himself into. Chloe returned to their table, going on and on about how great Chance is. Billy then got a call from Phyllis, asking if they could meet up to talk.
Lily and Cane went to Indigo together. Lily felt a little weird being out in a public place after being isolated from the chemo treatments. She wasn't sure how her family would react to her and Cane being together again. Cane could understand why Neil and Devon wouldn't approve of him being in Lily's life. Just then, Roxanne and Devon arrived and were happy to see Lily. When Cane and Devon stepped away, Lily revealed that she and Cane have recommitted to each other. Roxy was happy for her, but seemed to be upset
about something. When Lily questioned Roxy about her relationship with Devon, Roxy bolted, lying that she had to do something school-related. Devon returned to Lily's table and confessed that he'd cheated on Roxanne. Lily was floored — especially when he revealed that the other woman had been Tyra. She then told her brother that she's back together with Cane. Devon replied that he just wants Lily to be happy.
Cane went to the coffeehouse and joined Mac at her table. He shared that Lily has agreed to spend her life with him again. Mac wasn't surprised to hear that Lily had forgiven him, but Cane wasn't sure Lily would ever forget about him deceiving her. Mac was confident that Lily would get past her fears about him in time. Later, Roxy and Cane returned to Indigo. Roxanne asked Devon if they could talk and was eager to forgive him. Lily asked Cane if he'd share a dance with her to celebrate them renewing their vows.
At the coffeehouse, Kevin told Michael and Lauren that he's going to get Ryder released from prison. Michael didn't think it was a good idea, but Kevin insisted. Jana and Lauren agreed that something didn't seem right with Ryder.... Deacon went to the jail after losing the Terroni and reamed out Ryder for messing things up. Ryder asked Deacon about Deacon's son; Deacon became alarmed and said that his son is safe. Ryder then told Deacon that his mother has a new job for him.... Amber and Daniel awoke in bed together. She asked him to put his engagement ring back on her finger. He was more interested in getting naked, but then became serious as he vowed to never let her go again. Amber became teary as he placed the ring back on her finger, then began brainstorming different ideas for weddings — including an Indian-themed ceremony. Daniel preferred to save for a new place. He admitted that he wished he had the award money for the Terroni, but Amber was just happy that they were finished dealing with Deacon. They agreed that even though they didn't have much money, they were lucky to have each other.... Later, Kevin went to the prison and informed Ryder that he posted his bail. Kevin brought him to Crimson Lights, where they were greeted by a concerned Jana, Michael and Lauren. Jana offered to let Ryder sleep on their sofa, while Michael volunteered to represent Ryder. Still, both stressed that they were doing this as favors for Kevin. Lauren warned Ryder that if he messes with Kevin or anyone in Kevin's life, he'll regret it.... Deacon received his new assignment, where Lauren and Michael were the targets.
Chloe and Billy ran into each other at the magazine when he went to meet with Nick and Phyllis. Nick asked Billy why they should sell their publication to someone who doesn't have the greatest track record when it comes to work. Phyllis asked if Billy even knows how to run a magazine. Billy admitted that he's not an expert. Chloe jumped in and noted that Billy has great connections, and encouraged the Newmans to accept his offer. Billy then flashed the amount that he was willing to pay — and Nick and Phyllis promptly agreed to take it. Later, Billy informed Mac that Phyllis and Nick wanted to sell him Restless Style ... but he doesn't actually have the money to buy it.
Wednesday
Jack wasn't happy to hear that Billy intended to buy Restless Style and refused to give him the money he needed. Billy insisted that he'd make a great editor-in-chief, but Jack argued that he doesn't have any managerial experience. Billy pointed out that if he stayed at Jabot, he'd never get said experience.
Patty's "Dr. P." — the dark-haired woman who looks like Patty — visited her patient in the mental hospital. Patty explained to her that she needed to return to Genoa City to be with Jack. Dr. P. reminded her that Jack had hurt Patty, but Patty giddily replied that Jack has changed and they were getting married again. She then called her padded cell her "fabulous home." The doc noted that Patty looks just like her, which Patty took as a compliment. Dr. P. asked her who was responsible for Patty's extreme plastic surgery. Patty was confused and just kept saying that she's glad she looks like her doctor. She became furious when Dr. P. informed her that Patty and Jack are divorced.
At the hospital, Ashley thanked Victor for letting her keep the Newman Ranch. She told him that Faith's christening was being moved up and that Traci and Adam were going to be the baby's godparents. Victor urged Ashley to throw a big party afterward, but Ashley wanted to have a simple affair. He wanted to show how proud he was that his daughter was a Newman. Ashley accused him of perpetuating the rift between the Newmans and Abbotts.
Nikki and Paul went to Crimson Lights. He admitted that he still blames himself for what happened to Patty. Nikki stated that he's not responsible. Traci then arrived and cordially asked Nikki how Victor is doing. She was pleased to hear that Victor was going to be released soon. Nikki sincerely thanked Traci for allowing Victor to have Colleen's heart. Traci admitted that it had been a difficult decision, but she was glad that Colleen's heart was able to save a life. Traci then advised Nikki to think long and hard before getting involved with Victor again because he never changes.
Paul went to visit Patty and was shocked when he saw Dr. P. there. The doc introduced herself as Emily Peterson, explaining that Patty had been her patient last year and she didn't know what was going on with Patty until she saw the news. Emily took Paul outside and the doctor explained that Patty's living in a fantasy world. Paul asked how they met; Emily shared that she teaches at the University Of Minnesota and Patty had been the janitor there. After Patty began confiding in her, Emily had offered to take her on as a patient. Emily wanted Paul to work with her so they could help his sister. Paul filled her in on Victor bringing Patty back to Genoa City.
Billy told Traci about his plans to buy the magazine. She was excited for him, but wouldn't loan him the money. After, Billy went to the hospital and found Ashley continuing to argue with Victor. Ashley told her ex that he should be more humble given all that Traci's been through. Victor demanded
that she and Billy leave his room. They went to the ranch, where Ashley thanked him for always looking out for her. Billy then asked Ashley for the money and was thrilled when she agreed to give it to him. He promised to make her proud.
Jack met with Katherine and Jill at Indigo. They informed him that Jabot's sales are down, but he assured them the company was restructuring. They were surprised when he revealed that Billy quit. Kay announced that she's making Jill Jack's partner. Jack didn't like the idea, but Kay advised them to learn how to co-exist. Jill was more optimistic about their partnership working, reminding him that she loves Jabot as much as he does. He reluctantly gave her a status report, noting which person's PR firm he'd hired. Jill heartily approved of his decision, which surprised him. However,
they soon got into a debate over whether to put out a men's cosmetic line. After Jack left, Jill called the PR agency and instructed the firm to put out a press release saying, "Jill Abbott is back in charge at Jabot, right where she belongs."
Kay met up with Nikki at the coffeehouse. Kay was surprised when Nikki informed her that Victor and Ashley are getting divorced but said she believed that Nikki and Victor are destined to be together. Nikki agreed and thought that she and Victor might actually have a future this time around, though she was frightened by the prospect.
Jack paid Victor a visit at the hospital. Paul joined them and announced that he has someone he wants Victor to meet. He then brought in Emily.
Thursday
Ashley gave Billy the money for Restless Style, joking that she expected him to give her the shoe samples he receives for the fashion spreads. She then went to the church to prepare for Faith's christening and informed the priest that the baby's father is still in the hospital. She was surprised to see Sharon there; Sharon explained that she was there to meet for a bereavement group. She congratulated Ash on the baby as a concerned Adam looked on. He joined them and revealed to Sharon that he's going to be the baby's godfather. She was happy for him. She also advised him to visit Victor so that he and his father can begin making amends.
At the hospital, Paul and Jack introduced Victor to Emily, whom Victor thought was Patty at first. Jack reamed out Victor for all the trouble he caused in bringing Patty to Genoa City and listed Emily as one of his victims. Emily insisted that she could speak for herself, then angrily informed Victor that Patty was doing very well before he came into her life. Victor began to tell her to get lost, but Emily warned Newman that there are some people he just can't control ‹ like herself. Victor argued that Patty was never doing well and is a psychopath, then labeled Emily incompetent for not realizing that her patient has violent tendencies. "Her best friend was a stuffed cat. What does that tell you?" he barked. Emily noted that Jack was also responsible for damaging Patty. After she and Jack left, Paul confronted Victor. Victor told Paul that he should hire Emily to treat his sister and that he'd foot the bill. "What's in it for you?" Paul asked. Victor explained that he wants to help Patty, but Paul refused to accept his money.
Jack found Emily drinking alone at the G.C.A.C. bar. He admitted that he's made a lot of mistakes and regretted the way he treated Patty all those years ago. "I sent flowers to Patty once," he recalled, "but the truth was, my secretary sent them to her." He then explained how he began his relationship with "Mary Jane" before he knew she was Patty. Emily pointed out that he'd treated Patty just as poorly when she was in MJ mode.
Phyllis wasn't sure what to do now that Billy was planning to leave Restless Style. Nick assured her that she had many options. Billy arrived at the magazine and started to have doubts. Phyllis also got cold feet, but Billy went ahead and gave them his check. Phyllis tearfully announced to her staff that Billy is now in charge, but assured them that all of their jobs are safe.
At Crimson Lights, Mac confided in Chance about her problems running Jimmy's bar. Chance understood what it's like to have high hopes for something that doesn't pan out, and admitted that sometimes his detective job can be boring. Billy then called and asked Mac to meet him at Restless Style; she and Chance assumed that this meant that Billy had purchased the magazine. When Chance phoned Chloe, she neglected to mention that Billy was now the boss at her workplace. Mac arrived at the magazine to congratulate Billy, as a jealous Chloe looked on. Before Phyllis and Nick left, Billy promised to take good care of her magazine. Chance then arrived and asked why Chloe didn't tell him about Billy. She nervously replied that she was going to tell him but has been busy. Chance didn't buy it.... Phyllis and Nick went to the club to celebrate her new life.
Ashley went home to the Newman Ranch. Sharon soon came by with a box full of baby things and offered them to Ashley. Ashley was touched and revealed that she'd hoped that their little girls would grow up together. Sharon gave Ashley a necklace that said "Faith" on it, but Ashley told her to keep it. Just as Sharon was about to leave, the baby began crying. Sharon was clearly affected.
Adam visited Victor and assured his father that everyone would forgive Victor eventually and get past him bringing Patty to town, just as Victor had gotten past Adam's crimes. Victor coldly replied that Adam hadn't yet made amends for framing him for murder. Adam vowed to prove himself to Victor.
Friday
At the Newman Ranch, Traci, Adam and Ashley got ready for Faith's christening. Ashley shared that Traci gave Faith Colleen's christening gown. Adam thought that this was brave to her and wondered how a person can handle losing a child. Traci replied that you try to honor that person. Adam flashed back to how he'd blackmailed Dr. Taylor into telling Sharon that her baby had died while he gave Faith to Ashley.
At Crimson Lights, Jack argued with Katherine over having to work with Jill. Kay stood firm in her decision to have them work together, but Jack was confident that Ashley and Billy would be back at the company, and it would be run by the Abbotts once again.
At Restless Style, Billy was horrified when he saw his first cover, which had a woman sitting with a toy dog on it.
At Newman Enterprises, J.T. tried to talk to Victoria about the state of their marriage, but she was swamped with work. She stopped, though, when he shared that he was planning to go to a job interview in New York. She believed that he was punishing her for cheating with Deacon. He noted that she never wants to talk about their marriage. He also said that he wants to get a job outside of Victor's orbit. Their argument was interrupted when Victoria received a work-related call. He was annoyed when she went to take care of it.
Sharon went to the church and told Reverend Bennett that
she feels the most calm while she's there. The Reverend assured her that she'd eventually heal from her pain. Soon Ashley arrived with Faith.
Nick and Phyllis went to the coffeehouse after dropping Summer off at school. Phyllis asked Nick if they could move because she didn't want to stay on the ranch grounds and be near Victor.
Nick and Phyllis, as well as Billy and Mac, arrived at the church and greeted Ashley and Faith. Adam presented Faith with a gift that had once been his mother's. Ashley and Traci were touched, but Nick glowered at his brother. Jack arrived and asked Phyllis how Nick was doing. Phyllis replied that Nick's still dealing with the loss of his child and she's just trying to be there for him.... J.T. and Victoria showed up, still arguing.... The christening finally began. Adam and Traci took their spots as the godparents. Everyone was shocked when Victor and Nikki arrived together. Traci handed the baby to Newman and he took his place next to Ashley. The
Reverend then introduced Faith Colleen and spoke about how Colleen lived through her. He baptized the baby as a proud Ashley and Victor looked on. Adam was in awe as he cradled his goddaughter. Nick and Phyllis then held her and admired her "Newman eyes." Sharon was about to enter the church, but spied Nick with the baby and became upset. Adam's face fell as he watched Sharon....Traci and Victor shared a warm moment as they celebrated the occasion. She thought it was appropriate that she was the godmother of his child when he'd been Colleen's godfather.... Kay came over to say hello to Victor and noted that he'd arrived with Nikki. "Yes, I did," he smiled.... Nikki noticed that Victoria seemed to be distracted.... Mac admitted to J.T. that she was a bit startled when the name Faith Colleen was announced. J.T. was pleased that Colleen would live on through the child.... Victor held the baby and promised to teach her everything she needs to succeed. Jack joined him and told the child that she's also an Abbott.
After the christening, Kay visited Billy at Restless Style and reminded him how often magazines fold. He was confident that the magazine would stay afloat. He then showed her the cover and she agreed it wasn't the best. Chloe noted that they didn't have the time or money to change it. Later, Billy decided to do an exposé on how Victor stole Colleen's heart. Chloe thought this was a terrible idea, but he believed that Victor deserved it.
At the church, Victor and Ashley continued to admire the baby. She thanked him for not fighting her over the ranch. He then told Nick and Victoria that he and Ashley are divorcing and she's going to stay at the ranch. This piqued Phyllis's interest.... Victoria and J.T. continued to fight over him wanting to go to New York. He told her that she's acting just like her father and he doesn't want to be married to Victor. "You won't be if you take that job," she spat.... At Newman, Phyllis told Nick that she no longer wants to go house hunting now that Victor is away from the ranch. He then offered her a job at Newman, but said that he needs to have a "one on one interface" with her first. She and Nick began getting hot and heavy right on top of his desk.
Adam paid Sharon a visit, explaining that he saw how upset she was at the church. She admitted that she's a wreck and was also planning to name her daughter Faith. She wondered if it was her fault that her baby died. Adam insisted that it wasn't, but she regretted many of the choices she's made in her life. Adam replied that he's also done some terrible things. "We're not even in the same universe," he sighed. "You have to know now." He then blurted out that he's straight but seduced Rafe to get his way.
Traci bid farewell to Jack and Ashley. Ashley wasn't sure if Traci would ever want to return to Genoa City, but Jack was confident that she'd be back. Jack implored Ashley to talk to Billy about returning to Jabot, but she replied that she loaned Billy the money for the magazine. Jack was shocked.
Victor and Nikki checked into a suite at the G.C.A.C. She believed that he should be at the ranch, but he felt that it was time to move on. He was about to say more about his and Nikki's future, but she asked him not to say it just yet.
Billy and Chloe continued to debate over his cover story idea. He agreed to hold off on the exposé. However, when she stepped away, he called the printer and asked him to nix the dog cover story.
