Young and Restless Recaps

Y&R Week of September 27, 2010

Monday

Deacon spoke at an AA meeting, which Nikki was also attending. He admitted how difficult it is staying sober, especially since he's a bartender. After, Deacon joined Nikki in the audience and encouraged her to repeat the oath with him.

At Restless Style, Billy showed Victoria the new cover, but she was suffering from stomach pains. She called her doctor and was admitted to the hospital. The doc performed a sonogram and sadly informed them that the fetus had no heartbeat. After, they returned home and Billy asked Victoria if she was having second thoughts about their marriage. She replied that she wasn't, but regretted getting his hopes up about having a baby. Billy told her not to have any regrets and offered to draw her a bath and get her some ice cream. She told him that he didn't have to be brave for her. Billy admitted that he's disappointed. "It would've been a great kid, but we can try again," he reminded her. She was eager to do so. Later, Nikki came by to console her daughter and Victoria filled her mom in on when she'd miscarried. Victoria revealed that Victor had been at the magazine earlier and they'd had an argument. Nikki urged her daughter to stretch out on the couch and relax, but a troubled look appeared on Nikki's face. Nikki believed that Victor went too far this time. Victoria assured her that she'd be okay. "You have a lot of people rooting for you," Nikki reminded.

Jack and Abby met at the G.C.A.C. She repeated that she's not suing her father for her trust fund unless she's guaranteed a win. Jack was confident that she would win and asked for her most recent statements from Newman Enterprises.... Adam and Skye entered the club and Adam complained about Billy wanting to put Skye on the cover of Restless Style. After, Abby asked if Jack had really found something to stick Victor with. "I think your dad has stuck it to himself," Jack answered. Jack revealed that Victor had used her trust fund money to pay the fine for committing bribery in Japan. She wasn't sure that Jack had her best interests at heart, but Jack insisted that he was just trying to do the right thing for his niece. "What do you have to lose?" he shrugged.

Adam went upstairs and Jack urged Skye to be more careful. "I'm pretty sure we crossed that line," she cooed and they kissed in a corner. Jack warned her that they both knew what Adam is capable of, but Skye assured him that she could handle her hubby. After, Skye went to her and Adam's suite and he warned her that Jack and the Newmans were trying to bring them down. Skye argued that they were trying to bring him down. Adam implored his wife to fly under the radar. Soon, Malcolm stopped by, ready to take the photos for her cover shoot. Adam shook his head in disgust as she prepared for the photos. Skye posed on the bed with her shirt undone, holding a stack of cards in one hand and a cigar in the other. She did some more sexy shoots as she posed with a glass of champagne, and then rolled around in a pile on money. Mal called her a "natural." "Just about everything," Adam sighed. Skye explained that she likes to do things as if her life depends on it.

At work, Heather called Victor and told him that she had "interesting information" about Skye. Victor invited her to the Newman Ranch. Heather arrived and revealed that the judge in Adam's case had been involved in the mob, and that Skye might not have won her money from playing poker. Victor was confident that Heather could prove that Skye committed a crime in Brazil. Later, Heather went to the club to see Skye and questioned Skye about the judge in Brazil. Heather noted that he'd disappeared and wondered if Skye had something to do with it. Skye denied knowing anything about it. Adam saw Heather out, then angrily repeated that everyone was out to get them

Billy went to the ranch and pounded on the door until Victor answered. He accused Victor of causing Victoria to lose the baby. Victor looked shocked, but denied having anything to do with it. "Stop attacking my wife!" Billy yelled. "I didn't attack her," Victor said calmly. "I'm her father, punk. I want to warn her about the misery that will be inflicted on her by you." Victor demanded that Billy return home. Billy replied that Victoria had chosen him over Victor, and that Victor had better stop punishing her. Later, Victor called Victoria, but she didn't answer. Billy returned home with presents for his wife, including massage oil, bubble bath and ice cream. She asked if he'd been to the ranch; he admitted it and wondered if she was angry. Victoria called him her "hero" and requested that he hold her.

Nikki went to Gloworm and found Deacon at work. He poured her a drink on the house, but she insisted that she didn't want it. Deacon argued that the alcohol was exactly what she wanted. Just then, Victor called her with the "bad news" about Victoria and she also hung up on him. Nikki then turned her attention to Deacon and called him twisted for serving her a drink. Deacon replied that if she didn't drink there, she'd go somewhere else. He prodded her to admit that she's an alcoholic and urged her to push the drink away. Annoyed, she obliged.

Heather called Victor and told him that Adam and Skye were feeling the pressure now that she's questioned them.... Skye explained to Adam that Heather is fishing without bait. "You are the bait," he answered.... Abby went to the ranch and served her father with the papers for her suit. "You will regret this," Victor warned. "There's nothing you can do to change my mind," she spat.... Jack called Tucker and informed him that Beauty of Nature would soon be theirs now that Abby was suing Victor.

Tuesday

Christine went to Crimson Lights and quickly said hello to Michael. She then approached Ronan and encouraged him to connect with Nina. Phillip and Nina arrived. Nina lamented to Phillip that she hated having to lie about Chance's "death." Christine advised Ronan to talk to them, but he didn't think it was the right time and left. After, Nina and Phillip joined Cricket; Paul also stopped by and shared that he was doing what he could to convict Owen and his gang. A guilty looked crossed Nina's face given that Paul was clueless about Chance being alive. Christine shared that she was leaving town, but told Nina that Ronan had returned. Nina was happy to hear it and hoped that they could bond. Christine reminded her that Ronan couldn't make up for Chance being in the Witness Protection Program and advised Nina to give him some time. Nina asked why she was trying to stall her and Christine admitted that Ronan isn't ready to get to know her. Nina was angry and blamed Christine for costing her time with both of her sons. Christine urged her to get back together with Paul, but Nina didn't want anymore advice from her.... Ronan went to pick up a file at the D.A.'s office and had an awkward run-in with Paul. After he left, Paul called someone and asked to see that person.

Cane returned home and was greeted by an eager Lily. She offered to cook him some of the Australian steaks she'd received, but he revealed that he wasn't the one who'd sent them. He was alarmed when she shared that she and her family had eaten them and demanded that they throw them out.

Mac and J.T were excited as she prepared to take a pregnancy test. She happily shared that she's indeed pregnant and J.T was thrilled. Mac was confident that since she'd successfully given birth to Cane and Lily's twins, she'd be able to carry this baby to term.

Billy continued to care for Victoria in the aftermath of her miscarriage. She promised that she'd soon be back to her old self. The doorbell rang; Billy answered it and it was Victor. He demanded to see his daughter and she agreed to let him in; Billy left to give them some time to talk. Victor was sorry that she'd lost the child, but believed that this was an opportunity for Victoria to get out of her marriage. She angrily asked her father to leave. He reminded her that he's always there for her.

Abby went to the coffeehouse and asked Michael how "psycho" Victor had been when he'd told Michael about her lawsuit. Michael was clueless and she realized that her father hadn't said anything; she filled him in on how her father had used her trust fund money to pay for his bribery fines. She implored Michael to get Victor to settle, but Michael just laughed at her. Abby wasn't amused and warned that she's not going to lose the case. Later, Abby stopped by Victoria's to bring flowers to her sister. Abby revealed that she was going through with her lawsuit against their father. Victoria was intrigued and offered to help her with the case.

Billy went to visit Lily and the twins and ran into Mac. When she shared that she was having decaf coffee, Billy quickly concluded that she's pregnant and she confirmed it. Lily was ecstatic for her friend, but Billy looked pensive. After, Billy told them that Victoria miscarried the baby, but pretended that he was fine. Mac didn't buy it and he confided that he's upset — but didn't want to show his feelings around Victoria after all she'd been through.

Paul met with J.T and asked his friend how things were going at Tucker's company. J.T wondered what Paul really wanted from him; Paul suggested that he join the police force. Ronan returned and asked if J.T was planning to make a career change; he also encouraged J.T to become a cop. Later, J.T came home and found Mac chowing down on pizza. He brought up the idea of becoming a cop.

Cane and Phillip dined at the club, where Cane told him about the steaks. Phillip advised him to call the cops, but Cane was afraid of frightening Lily. Phillip offered to go to Australia so he could smooth things over. Cane later returned home and Lily informed him that he'd received a package. He lied that he had to make a call, then opened it in private. It was a DVD labeled "family photos." Cane turned it on and it had footage of Lily on it, meaning that they were being watched. Lily then cried out for help — but she just wanted help in carrying all of the twins' things.

Christine had coffee with Michael and he admitted that he was disappointed that they hadn't spent a lot of time together. Christine explained that she'd returned with so many secrets and didn't want to get him involved. Michael understood, but was upset that she was leaving so soon. Still, he assured her that she's one of his best friends, no matter what. Aww. Christine then called Paul and asked if they could say good-bye in person. He arrived at the coffeehouse, where Nina also was. They realized that Christine was behind the set-up. Ronan also stopped by Crimson Lights, but stepped out when he saw Nina. Paul invited Nina to join him for coffee and she accepted. Christine watched from outside, smiling.

Michael stopped by the Newman Ranch and questioned Victor about Abby's suit. Victor shrugged it off and was confident that she'd drop it and put family first.... Billy returned home and found Victoria with Abby. Victoria announced that she's suing Victor along with her sister. "Holy moly," sighed Billy. "We're going to war."

Wednesday

At the coffeehouse, Phyllis lamented to Jack that it was a slow day in Genoa City. Skye joined them and Phyllis was surprised to see that they were so friendly. After Skye stepped away, Phyllis asked if Jack and Skye were sleeping together. Jack admitted it and added that Adam knows. Phyllis warned him to be careful with Adam. After, Billy joined them and revealed that Victoria lost their baby. He then complained about being overwhelmed at Restless Style. Phyllis suggested that he hire her to return to the magazine. Billy reminded her that when she sold him the magazine, she'd said that she was through with publishing. She noted that now she's single and is looking for something to do. Billy made her the editor in chief. "Welcome to Crazy Town," he smiled. They went to the office and he showed her his cover story on Skye. When he noted that it wasn't as interesting as he'd like, Phyllis informed him that Skye has been sleeping with Jack.

Adam stopped by the tack house and asked Sharon if they could talk. He confided that marrying Skye was a mistake because he doesn't love her. "It was a business arrangement," he explained, "but my priorities have changed. This woman gets me so angry that I actually find myself hating her." Sharon was uncomfortable to have him tell her this, but Adam said that Sharon is the one thing that keeps him going. "My life is a mess," he sighed. "Please don't push me away." "This is over; you're married," Sharon reminded him and suggested that he divorce Skye. Adam replied that Skye won't let him.

Ronan paid Nina a visit at the Chancellor Estate and gave her stuff that was cleared out of Chance's locker. She asked him to stay while she went through the box and he agreed. "I dreamed of the day I would find my son," she told him. "Maybe you shouldn't get your hopes up," he replied, explaining that he needed more time. Nina was disappointed, but understood. When she went through Chance's box, she found the book she'd written about her search for her long-lost son. "He was trying to find you," she noted to Ronan. Nina lamented possibly not being able to ever see Chance again. "At least you know he's safe," Ronan pointed out.

At Crimson Lights, Kevin revealed to Chloe that he'd finally "gotten some" with a woman. Chloe teased him about getting his date's spray tan all over him. Jana and Daniel arrived at the coffeehouse. Jana revealed that she's been officially hired at Delia's pre-school as the art teacher. Kevin wasn't thrilled to hear this. Jana asked to speak with Kevin alone and apologized for putting him through so much. Still, she insisted that she wasn't asking for another chance with him. She wanted for them to be civil, but Kevin replied that it would be easier to just not see her. She revealed that she'd finally signed their divorce papers and their marriage was officially over. Both were sad to see their marriage end.... Daniel joined Chloe and gave his condolences about Chance "dying." Chloe admitted that she's already hooked up with a bad guy. Daniel asked if something was going on between her and Kevin, but she replied that they're just good friends. Daniel wasn't sure that they could remain "just friends." Later, Kevin sat with Daniel and Daniel quizzed his pal about Chloe. Kevin denied that he has romantic feelings for Chloe, but Daniel didn't believe it. They were interrupted when Gloria called her son and asked him to come to Gloworm.

Chloe went to the Chancellor Estate and was angry to see Ronan there. Nina reminded her that Ronan is her son, but Chloe didn't want to have anything to do with him. After Nina gave Ronan the book in Chance's box as a reminder that Chance had wanted to find him as much as Nina did. Later, Ronan read the book while Nina thought of her sons.

Skye went to Gloworm and invited Jeff to join her hedge fund, but he turned her down. Jack met her there and she informed him that the Newman Fund's numbers keep going up. He was impressed. They went back to her suite at the club and hit the sheets, but she warned Jack that she didn't want investors finding out about their affair. When she stepped away, Jack did some snooping on her computer. Skye returned and was annoyed to see him checking her out, but he complimented her work. They kissed and he secretly stuffed a paper in his pocket.

Kevin looked over the books at Gloworm and accused Jeff of laundering money out of the club. Kevin threatened to tell Gloria everything. Chloe arrived and filled him on on Ronan being back in town. Glo teased Kevin about being Chloe's sidekick. Kevin lied to his mom that the books are okay, then told Jeff to let him do the money laundering so that he could get back Crimson Lights. Jeff was surprised, but impressed by Kevin's willingness to join his scheme.

Phyllis called Daniel to the magazine and asked him to draw a crack between Adam and Skye on the cover. She wanted to let the world know that the Newmans' marriage wasn't what it seemed.... Adam went to comfort Faith when she started crying. Sharon stopped him and kicked him out of her home.

Jana arrived for work at the preschool, dressed exactly like Chloe had been earlier. Liza, the instructor, complimented her appearance. Jana spent time with Delia and asked the little girl to help her get back Kevin. Creepy!

Thursday

Phyllis went to work at Restless Style, explaining to Billy that she'd given the staff the day off with pay. Billy told her that she did a great job on the cover story by writing about Jack and Skye's affair. They were anxious to find out what Skye was really up to. Billy had Jack come by and gave him a heads up on the story. Jack wasn't pleased that they were running it without his approval. After, Jack went to the G.C.A.C and showed Skye the story, which was online. Skye was livid and feared that it would ruin the hedge fund.

Abby stopped by Victoria's and was pleased when Victoria signed the papers for the lawsuit. Noah arrived and Victoria was thrilled to see him. He asked about her marriage to Billy and wondered if Victor went crazy. Nick interrupted and said that they weren't going to discuss that today because it was Faith's first birthday. He invited them all to a party at his and Sharon's place.... At the Newman Ranch, Nikki asked Victor if he was sure he wanted to attend the party given that he believed Faith to be his and Ashley's for six months, but he wanted to be there for Nick and Sharon.

Adam met with Vance at Crimson Lights and asked if the case against him could be reopened. Vance advised him to be good to Skye since a wife didn't have to testify against her husband. Still, Vance was sure that if there were a case, he'd win.... Sharon and Ashley ran into each other at the coffeehouse and Sharon told Ashley how much Faith means to her. She promised to tell Faith about her short time with Ashley and invited Ash to the party. Ashley promised to think about it. Adam approached the women and apologized for the Faith switch, but neither wanted to hear it. After, Vance advised him not to apologize for something he claims to not have done.

Skye confronted Billy about the story and threatened to sue the magazine. Billy wasn't fazed. Skye accused him of lying, but Phyllis told her that Jack had confirmed the affair. "Looks like you're screwed," Billy sniffed. After, the financial channel called, which thrilled Billy. He wanted to celebrate how many hits the article was getting... Skye found Jack at the club and reamed him out for telling Phyllis about their affair. She explained that her pitch to investors was supposed to be that she and Adam are the perfect couple, and now she'd have to do damage control. Skye then went up to her suite. "We have a problem," she told Adam. Adam reminded her that he'd advised her not to do the Restless Style article. "What do we do now?" Skye asked. "You said you could handle it, so handle it," he snapped and stormed out.

Nick, Sharon, Victor, Nikki, Abby, Ashley, Noah, Jana, Mac, J.T, Victoria, Summer and Reed gathered to celebrate at the ranch. Abby shared an awkward greeting with her father.... Sharon complimented Jana on how good she is with kids and asked her to babysit. Sharon then opened Ashley's gift, which was an angel statue and a photo album of the first six months of Faith's life.... Abby and Victor argued about her lawsuit. He reminded her that the money in her trust fund is actually his, but she disagreed. Victoria stood up for her sister and announced that she's joining in the suit. Nikki was upset, but Victoria invited her to join them. Nick and Ashley also didn't think it was a good idea, but Abby stated that she's going through with it. Sharon was just upset that everyone was arguing at the party. Nikki implored Victor and Victoria to put aside their differences; Abby and Victoria decided that it was best if they left. Nick was angry that his family didn't seem to want to celebrate with Faith. Nikki and Victor went outside and he blamed Victoria for setting a bad example for Abby — and of course, blamed Billy for her behavior. Nikki accused him of letting his problems with them ruin Faith's birthday. Victor retorted that their daughter started it. Ashley found them outside and warned that if Victor didn't stop things, he could lose Abby. Later, Sharon told Nick that she ran into Adam earlier when she picked up the cupcakes at the coffeehouse. Nick wondered what their lives would've been like had Adam never come to town. Sharon wished that she and Victor hadn't brought him home from Brazil. Nick urged her to move on; she agreed that she can't keep letting Adam get to her. "Don't encourage him," he advised. "I won't; I promise," she replied. They agreed that there are times when they can't believe that Faith is really theirs. "We nearly lost our daughter; it'll get less and less painful every year," Nick reasoned. "She's home with us, exactly where she should be."

Victoria went to the magazine and complained to Billy about the party. She feared that Nick would never talk to her again. Billy was surprised when she filled him in about her announcement, but added that he's ruined plenty of parties. She then made him promise that he wouldn't write a story about it. Phyllis entered and invited Victoria to partake in their cover story celebration. She read the piece online and agreed to celebrate along with them. Victoria was pleased that Jack came off well, while Adam and Skye looked bad. They toasted to their success.

Ashley met up with Jack at the club and admitted how tough attending Faith's party had been. "I love that little girl," she sighed. "Giving her up was the hardest thing I ever had to do." "Now you're getting on with the rest of your life," he reminded her. She acknowledged that Nick and Sharon are wonderful parents. Ash then told him that Abby is going through with her suit — and Victoria has joined her. Jack was genuinely surprised by this news.... Abby met with Vance at Crimson Lights and gave him the papers which she and Victoria had signed. Vance believed that their chances of winning were now even greater with Victoria on board.... Victor vowed to Nikki that his daughters wouldn't see any money. Nikki pointed out how much he's hurt Victoria, but he regretted spoiling his children. "I earned every dime I ever had," he snarled. "Let's see how they do without their father's money."

Friday

At Crimson Lights, Sharon read the Restless Style article about Skye and thought back to how Adam had said he didn't love Skye. Phyllis approached her and Sharon paid her a back-handed compliment by noting that Phyllis was back where she belonged, writing about everyone else's business. Phyllis taunted Sharon about the fact that Skye was sleeping with two of Sharon's exes. Sharon mocked Phyllis's affair with Deacon.

Meanwhile, at the G.C.A.C., Skye told Adam if he didn't play the doting husband, it would ruin their hedge fund. She stated that he was right about the article, but he didn't care. She implored him to pretend that they're in love in public. After, they met with potential investors and Adam went along with Skye's story about the article being a slam job.

Jack met with Vance at the G.C.A.C bar and gloated that Victor would certainly lose in Abby and Victoria's suit. After, Jack went to the coffeehouse and wasn't thrilled to see the article about Skye. Sharon warned Jack to be careful because Skye and Adam are "twisted and unpredictable." Later, Jack told Phyllis that he's glad to see her back to her old, feisty self. He invited her to Gloworm for a drink; instead, she invited him back to her place. Later at her penthouse, she brought out champagne and Jack toasted to her. She reminded him that they were just going to stay friends. "I can't for the life of me remember why," he grinned. Phyllis noted that they have too much history. They almost kissed, so Jack decided that it would be better if he just left.

Michael met with the Newmans at the ranch to discuss the suit. Nikki didn't blame Victor's daughters for turning against him. Nikki didn't want him to be at war with his children, but he insisted that he was prepared for it. Michael agreed with Nikki and thought that Victor should just make amends with his daughters.... Nick questioned Victoria about the suit and why she was going ahead with it. "Dad is toxic," she spat. Nick didn't think that this was the way to deal with it and warned that she could lose everything. Victoria didn't care and invited Nick to join them. Nick refused, but she went on about how much she's lost because of their father. Vance soon arrived to go over the suit with Victoria and Abby. He explained that he has a shot at winning the case if they don't let anyone sway them. He recommended that they sue Victor for a huge amount of money; Abby's mouth fell open as she saw the number he'd written down — $3 billion! Cha-ching! Victoria was concerned that they were overshooting, but Vance reasoned that by asking for this amount, they'd end up getting a reasonable settlement. Later, Victor stopped by Victoria's and asked if his daughters are out of their minds. He then called Vance a predator and accused him of manipulating his girls. Victoria argued that they were doing exactly what they wanted to. Vance saw himself out and Victor's daughters refused to back down. This just made Victor angry as he yelled that this was supposed to be a private, family matter. Victoria calmly replied that all he had to do was pay them what he owes. Victor called them greedy and said that he's ashamed of them. "Oh, well," Victoria shrugged. "Whatever happens, remember, you brought it on yourselves," he yelled.

Nick, Sharon and Faith ran into Adam and Skye at the G.C.A.C. They scoffed about how Adam and Skye being out together was "strategic" to counter the article's accusations. After, Skye and Adam continued to appeal to the investors. Nick and Sharon sat down at their table, but she kept staring at Adam. Nick suggested that they take out their food instead. Later, they returned to their home; when Nick brought up Adam, Sharon asked if they could not talk about him. Nick invited Sharon and the kids to the Harvest Festival and she accepted.... Adam and Skye returned to their suite, where Adam reminded his wife that in private, she's to stay away from him.

A frazzled Nikki went to Gloworm and ordered a club soda, but then changed her order to a vodka tonic. Deacon found Nikki ordering another and quizzed her about her choice of beverages. Nikki told him to mind his own business, but he believed that she needed someone to talk to. Nikki insisted that she can take care of herself. Still, he continued to press her and asked if getting drunk was really worth it. She requested that he let her be, but he asked what made her slip. "Just go away," she slurred, but then stated that Victoria's life has fallen apart, thanks to Deacon sleeping with her and breaking up her marriage to J.T., and now Victoria and Victor are at odds. Nikki got up and was ready to storm out, but Deacon insisted on driving her home.

After Victor left, a shaken Abby admitted to Victoria that it was terrifying to be dealing with their father. Victoria urged her to stay strong and stick to their plan. "What if Dad doesn't settle?" Abby fretted. Victoria explained that it could go to court and would take a few years to play out.... Victor again met with Michael and groused about Vance. Michael warned that Victor might not have any other choice, but to take Newman Enterprises public. Victor refused to give in and vowed to win. Michael agreed to fight the suit, but wanted Newman to know what was at stake. Victor had faith in Michael.... Deacon helped a sloshed Nikki into her home. Meggie greeted her and feigned innocence as she asked what was wrong. She introduced herself to Deacon. Victor entered and asked what Deacon was doing there and he explained that Nikki wasn't feeling well, so he'd helped her get home. Victor wanted to check in on Nikki, but Meggie suggested that he let Nikki sleep.

Jack returned to Phyllis's penthouse. "Did you forget something?" she asked. "Yes," he replied and hungrily kissed her. They quickly undressed and started to have sex on the stairs.
