Tuesday
Gloria and Jeffrey eagerly watched Victor on a computer monitor as he
entered a hallway full of lockers. They looked forward to getting their
money for capturing Patty. Jeff called Victor and thanked him for being on
time; Newman was surprised to learn he was being watched. They asked him to
open his briefcase and Victor showed them the bundles of bills he had inside.
The Bardwells instructed him to put the money into a particular locker, then to
drive and wait for directions to Patty's location. Jack then arrived at the
lockers and Jeff told him to put his money inside the locker next to
Victor's. Jeff had him open an envelope with Patty's location, and Jack
learned that she was at his family cabin. After he left, the Bardwells
celebrated becoming millionaires again.
Meanwhile, Colleen went to the Abbott cabin and found Patty tied to a chair.
Colleen untied her. "How can I ever repay you for your kindness?" Patty
asked, then tied Colleen up. She accused Colleen of looking at her wrong.
Colleen explained that she's Jack's niece, which intrigued Patty. Patty
revealed who she really is and became angry as Coll mentioned Jack. She then
grabbed a gun, which freaked out Colleen.
Kevin and Jana went to the jail, where Kevin celebrated being Ryder's
brother. Jana didn't seem to be too happy about the DNA test results, but
Kevin promised to be a great brother to him. Ryder was grateful to have a
family. After, Jana confided in Michael and Lauren that she's not sure Ryder
is for real, and feared that Kevin would get hurt. Michael and Lauren joined
Kevin and Ryder and Kevin eagerly introduced them. Kevin was surprised when
Michael refused to take on Ryder's case, and begged his brother to
reconsider. Ryder shared the story about how he'd also been abused by Tom.
Lauren asked why he'd sought out Kevin; Ryder replied that it was fate that
he and Kevin ended up meeting up. Michael still didn't want to help Ryder
until he checked him out.
At Crimson Lights, Daniel asked Amber to marry him. She wasn't sure if it
was for real or to rescue her from Deacon, but he implored her to say yes.
Deacon arrived and warned them that if they force his hand, he'll deliver a
letter which will destroy Daniel's alibi. Amber was miserable as she
realized that she had no choice but to wed Deacon. Later, Daniel informed
Jana that he suspected Ryder was working with Deacon.... Deacon told Amber
that he wanted to get married the next day.... Lauren and Michael went to
the coffeehouse and agreed that something seemed off about Ryder.
Victor arrived at the cabin and found it empty. Jack showed up soon after
and found Victor there. They realized they'd been had by Gloria and Jeff.
Jack then accused Victor of bringing Patty to town. Victor denied it, but
Jack warned him that the truth will eventually come out.... Jeff and Gloria
got into their getaway car with the briefcases and were overjoyed to be
holding that much money. However, everything the bills then exploded on them
in dye packs and confetti.
Meanwhile, Patty drove Colleen to the middle of nowhere. Colleen tried to
make nice and asked Patty what her cat's name was. Patty softened for a
moment as she explained that she found him in the church. Colleen shared
that she'd wanted a kitten as a little girl, but her mom wouldn't let her
have one. However, Patty became angry again when Coll mentioned Jack.
Colleen warned that if she didn't call her family, they'd worry about her.
Patty refused to take her back to town. She promised to help Patty out, if
Patty would let her. Patty grabbed her gun and again said she can't go back
to Genoa City. Colleen begged to not be held hostage. Patty was
about to relent, when she spotted Colleen's cell phone and
realized Colleen was trying to send a message. She held the gun on Colleen,
who broke down.
Wednesday
At the G.C.A.C., Amber continued to be difficult as she and Deacon made wedding plans. After Deacon had to leave, Katherine showed up and demanded
to know if Amber was really in love with Deacon. Amber dodged the question,
then asked Kay to be at her wedding tomorrow and rushed away.
Michael told Jana that he has proof that Ryder is lying. Meanwhile, Kevin
promised Ryder he'd use the Terroni to pay for his defense. After Kev left,
Ryder was surprised when the police brought in Daniel, who pretended to be
drunk and disorderly. Once in the same cell with Ryder, a very-sober Daniel
told him, "You and I both know that you weren't the third person in that
alley. Someone else was there. Someone killed Elkins, and I want to know who
it is." Ryder finally admitted that Tom hid the real Terroni which may be in
his safety deposit box. Daniel demanded to know who is behind this whole
scheme but he was removed from the cell before Ryder could spill.
Kevin returned to the coffee house and excitedly told Jana that the real
Terroni could be in Tom's safety deposit box. Michael presented his brother
with evidence that Tom never raised Ryder. "There's a very good likelihood
that Tom didn't even know he had another son," Michael explained, but Kevin
refused to believe it.
At Crimson Lights, Victoria got perturbed at J.T. for not doing more
to search for her mother. When she noticed that J.T. had a voicemail from
Colleen, she stormed out. Paul showed up and J.T. finally checked his phone
messages. He was stunned to hear Colleen as she was talking to Patty: "I
know you're not a bad person, but I'm really scared. Please, don't hold me
hostage. Please, take me home. We can make this right, I know we can."
Jack vowed to Victor that he will uncover Newman's connection to Patty.
Victor returned to the ranch, where Adam revealed that Billy kidnapped
Ashley. Victor stormed out and confronted Jack at the G.C.A.C., demanding to
know where Ashley is. Traci called Jack to tell him that she and Billy were
with Ashley at the trailer. Jack ran off with Victor in hot pursuit.
At Murphy's trailer, Ashley got riled when she heard that a doctor was
coming over to examine her. "No doctors!" Ashley growled. "That's final."
Traci said they just wanted to be sure that the baby is okay and Ashley
agreed. The doctor arrived and his questions tipped off Ashley that he's a
psychiatrist. Ashley got upset but Traci convinced her sister to let the
doctor check the baby. Jack arrived and Ashley started to scream at her
siblings for conspiring against her. Victor showed up next and Ashley begged
him to take her back to the ranch. After they left, Jack reamed Billy for
his actions. "Because of you, we may have just lost our sister for good,"
Jack charged.
Adam's lawyer showed up at the ranch and announced that he was being
released from house arrest. Adam was thrilled but frantically left a message
for Dr. Taylor to come get him. Victor and Ashley returned and Adam was
relieved to hear that she was never checked out by a doctor. Adam said
that he's now on parole and is going back to Kansas. Ashley asked
Adam to stay and he agreed.
Katherine visited Deacon and offered him money to get out of Amber's life.
He turned her down just as Amber showed up. Kay urged her friend not to go
through with the wedding but Amber insisted she was okay. After Kay left,
Amber received a phone call that sent her running out of the room.
Victoria was shocked to learn from Katherine that Deacon is set to marry
Amber.... Kevin angrily confronted Ryder for his lies. Ryder insisted that he
suffered due to Tom's abuse.... Daniel was surprised when his bail was paid.
When he asked who posted it, Amber appeared and insisted he stay out of her
life.... Victoria confronted Deacon about his wedding plans. She was
appalled when he wanted to have sex before he gets married.... J.T. played
Colleen's message for Paul, who also heard Patty's voice.... Jack was
horrified when Billy revealed that Colleen was up at the Abbott cabin.
Meanwhile, Patty tied Colleen to a tree in the middle of nowhere.
Thursday
Chloe showed up to help Amber prepare for her wedding but observed that the
bride was miserable. Jana showed up to offer "something old" — her car keys. "Get the hell out of here," Jana advised. Amber insisted she didn't have
a choice.
Deacon visited Ryder, who was antsy to get out of jail. Deacon assured it
will take just a little while longer. Ryder revealed that Kevin was asking
all sorts of questions about Tom. Deacon said they'll soon obtain the Terroni
and sell it for millions.
Armed with the info that Ryder gave him, Daniel confronted Kevin about Tom's
safety deposit box. Kev explained he was going to return the painting and
use the reward money for Ryder's defense. Daniel urged Kevin to help Amber
instead because Ryder is lying about being a murderer. Kev blamed Deacon for
Ryder's troubles, which only got Daniel more upset. Kevin and Daniel's
argument led to punches being thrown; Jana had to break them up. After
Daniel stormed off, Kevin realized the key to the safe deposit box was
missing.
At Crimson Lights, Victoria and Nick fretted over their mother's
whereabouts. "It's really unlike her to not call us," Victoria pointed out.
She later encountered Katherine and they both grew concerned about Nikki's
safety. Kay said she would have Chance investigate the matter.
Jack, Paul and J.T. scoured the Abbott cabin for clues on Patty and Colleen.
Jack observed that his dad's gun was missing, which meant Patty could be
armed. Paul worried what his sister could do next.
Patty roused Colleen so they could keep moving. When Patty was
distracted by her kitty, Colleen tore off a little piece of her scarf to
leave behind. Later, Patty used Colleen's cell phone to call Jack. He tried
to talk her into revealing her location but she said she had "a few things
to take care of first." Jack asked about Colleen, who yelled out the word
"cow" before Patty disconnected the call.
Nick admitted to Sharon that he didn't tell Phyllis that he was the father
of Sharon's baby. "Summer needs all of her mother's attention right now,"
Sharon concurred and suggested that they keep the baby's paternity a secret
for the time being. Nick said that wasn't an option. "The three of us
will find a way to work this out," Nick assured.
Katherine, Murphy, Chance and Victoria gathered for Amber's nups. Deacon
showed up and tried to charm the guests but they weren't impressed. Amber's
black wedding dress shocked the guests. Chloe
tipped off Chance that Amber was being blackmailed into the marriage. Chance
questioned Deacon but he denied it; Amber backed him up.
Back at the Abbott mansion, Paul, Jack and J.T. researched landmarks and
businesses that might include the word cow. They found out about an
abandoned dairy farm so Paul and Jack headed there to check it out. J.T.
stayed behind to contact the highway patrol.... Patty and Colleen came upon
a deserted camp. Patty saw a sign that said "Cowabunga" and realized that
was the clue Colleen had shouted out. Colleen explained that all the Abbotts
went to this camp and that Jack will soon be on his way.... Ryder was
surprised when his mother showed up at the jail.... As Deacon and Amber
exchanged vows, Daniel crashed the wedding. Deacon threatened to call
security but Daniel held up the safety deposit key he swiped from Kevin. "If
you don't call this wedding off, I swear to God, you're never gonna see it again," Daniel threatened.
