I began watching ATWT when I was a teenager, about 15 or so years ago. I feel like I grew up with "Hal Munson" and his cast memebers and spent the summer glued to the tv. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. As a fellow LIer (near Patchogue), I consider us a "NY family". My best to all of you during this time.

I am so sorry to hear about Benjamin Hendrickson's passing. He was a very sincere actor. He was very convincing in his role as Hal Munson on As The World Turns. I can't imagine the grief his family and his As The World's Turns family must be feeling now. My thoughts and prayers go out to them all.

I was shocked to see the "in memory of" picture of "Hal" today after As the World Turns and then to find out he committed suicide. What a great actor he was. I was touched by his scenes with "Barbara" and "Jennifer" recently when Jennifer was dying. He will be missed in the role of Hal.

I was deeply saddened by the death of Benjamin Hendrickson. I will miss Detective Munson (Hal) terribly. He was the only one who understood Emily and this will leave a very large hole in the story. I feel that his character can never be replaced.
