I was so very heart broken to hear of the Death of such a beloved Man. I have been watching As The World Turns for as long as I can Remember and His Portrayal Of Hal Munson was always Awesome. I was so very rocked today When I saw in the Closing of the Show that he had passed away. To the Cast and Crew Member's of the show Here is a Poem that has Touched Me When I lost my Father.

The news of this fine actor’s passing came as such a heart-wrenching shock to myself and I am sure every fan of As the World Turns. As the show does so well, I really hope that you can use this tragedy in a story line to inform others about the effects of suicide.  Many people do not think through how it affects others, as they are so inwardly focused on their own very troubling situation. However, as we follow the story lines every day, we feel these actors are our family, and what better way to drive the point home than to bring this tragedy into the story line. It would be especially relevant to the story line going on now with “Jennifer” passing away, that her father would do this. However, that may be way too difficult for the actors to deal with.  My heart and prayers go out to the actor-family of As The World Turns, the fans who will miss Benjamin-“Hal”, and especially to his family.

I was deeply saded to hear that Benjamin Hendrickson ended his life. Only Benjamin and God know the answers to why he took his life. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I dream that someday I would meet this man in real life. I will miss seeing his face on ATWT. I've been a fan of the show for 30 years. We will miss him.

I would like to extend my condolences to Benjamins family. I was shocked. Hal was one of my favorite characters and no one could play him like Benjamin. I was saddened a while back when he wasn't on the show because of poor health. His final scenes with the family during Jens death was right on target. He will be missed.

To The Friends, Family & Fans Of Benjamin Hendrickson< br>I did not have the pleasure of knowing Ben personally, although I did have the honor of meeting him @ the ATWT Fan Club Luncheon. He was sincere, caring & in good spirits when we met. It was a pleasure as well as an honor to have him in my life as a soap fan & I feel as though a good family friend has passed away. Whatever his troubles may have been, he is not suffering anymore. His loss will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. I was so upset when after yesterdays show i learned of benjamins death. I was very shocked but more shocked to learn how he died. I thought for some time Hal looked ill. He was much thinner when he returned to the show. But even when he was replaced for that short time no matter how good of an actor no one can ever replace Hal. I will miss the actor alot we all loved him. Thanks for being a part of my day for so many years.rest.

I was so shocked to hear  of the passing of Ben Hendrickson. I have watched this show for many years and have always enjoyed watching "Hal Munson". He was a great actor and I will miss him very much. As with other viewers I do hope that the show will not try to replace him for no one else can play this role. He was truly the character that he played. My sincere condolances go out to his family as well as his castmates.
