Home Of The Whoppers
Charade Route
While everyone assumed that Taylor had died in a 1994 plane crash, she was really being nursed back to health by a smitten Moroccan prince. When she secretly returned to L.A., she already knew that husband Ridge had married Brooke, so Taylor donned a plain-Jane disguise to be near him. Taylor decided to end her charade by just appearing on Ridge's doorstep as herself, which not so surprisingly, shocked him to the core. Brooke, on the other hand, was not amused.

Amber (Adrienne Frantz) and the baby.

Accept No Substitutes
When Amber's baby died at birth in 1998, she knew that it spelled the end to her and Rick's shaky marriage. Her mother, Tawny, came up with a substitution: Tawny's niece, Becky, had an unwanted newborn that was slated for adoption. Tawny made the switch and Amber reluctantly presented "Eric Forrester III" to a thrilled Rick. But Becky had second thoughts about giving up her son and when she found out about Tawny and Amber's ruse, she demanded to get her child back. Amber complied, then came clean with her husband — and his family kicked her to the curb.

Morgan (Sarah Buxton)

Permission Slip
In 2000, Ridge's ex-girlfriend, Morgan DeWitt, confessed that years ago as a scared teen, she aborted his baby at Stephanie's behest. Morgan never recovered from the loss and decided that bearing Ridge's child now would help her to heal. Only problem? Ridge was happily married to Taylor, with whom he shared three children. While Taylor was out of town, Morgan forged an e-mail from Taylor giving Ridge permission to fulfill Morgan's request. It was only after the deed was done that a horrified Ridge found out that it was a set-up and Taylor came thisclose to ending their marriage. Sadly, Morgan's baby died shortly after birth.

Massimo, Stephanie and Ridge (Joe Mascolo, Susan Flannery and Ronn Moss)
|
False Start
Leave it to Stephanie to perpetrate a lie for over 40 years. She was able to snag Eric as her husband because he'd gotten her pregnant (Ridge was the result), but Steph conveniently forgot to mention that she'd also had sex with Massimo. Fast-forward to 2001. Stephanie received undeniable confirmation that Eric wasn't Ridge's father after all, leading her to an "Oh, yeah!" moment about that certain night with Massimo. Of course, all three men were shocked by this revelation, but everyone adapted and moved on.
