BOlD AND BEAUTIFUL Photos

Fashion Parade '07

For a special section in the 12/25 Digest, we gathered comments from an array of soap actresses on the frocks they wore to public events throughout 2007. You'll have to read the issue to see which B&B actress is featured, but we can tell you who isn't: Ashley Jones, who portrays Bridget. That's because this ingenue stepped out so many times in Southern California that there wasn't enough room in our magazine to include the myriad outfits she was photographed in. But here, we can show you them all.

March 24
B&B 20th Anniversary Party, Beverly Hills
"This year, I really got into short dresses with long sleeves. The designer is named Hengst, who is based in San Francisco. I love her stuff. I'm a really big fan. This is a deep gold and a throwback to the British '60s mod. My best friend, Marisa Coughlan [A SIDE ORDER OF LIFE], just wore it to the Enchanted premiere, so this dress is getting around."

March 28
The Blades of Glory premiere at Mann's Chinese Theater, Hollywood
"This one I borrowed from work. It's the most comfortable dress. I love the purple color and the braided detail. The shoes are leopard-print, so you think they wouldn't work with the dress, but it all went together nicely. I remember that I trimmed my bangs myself."

April 19
Escada And Jessica Alba Toast Step Up Women's Network in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Beverly Hills.
"I'm a big supporter and volunteer with Step Up, so I'm always going to their events. That's a Robert Rodriguez pencil skirt with a Trina Turk top. The puff sleeves are a little ahead of style. They're popular in Europe and will be seen more in the U.S. this year."

April 21
First Annual Class of Hope Prom at the Sportsmen's Lodge, Studio City.
"That's a Sue Wong dress. I'm a big fan and actually friends with her. I wear a lot of her stuff. I loved the beaded design. This was Sharon Stone's event, where designers donated clothes to underprivileged girls so they could go to their proms. Sue Wong donated 300 dresses and my friend Harris Theophanous, who's a designer for Brown Shoe Company, donated hundreds of shoes."

June 14
SOAPnet's Night Before Party for the 2007 Daytime Emmys, Hollywood.
"This is a midnight-blue Lloyd Klein dress. He has the most gorgeous store ever on Beverly Boulevard. This is not a forgiving dress, it shows every flaw. The back has these amazing cutouts."

— JILL JOHNSON/JPI

June 15
Arriving at the 34th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Hollywood.
"That was a beige silk dress and I felt I had to hold my stomach in. It was so hot that day. The sun was just beating down and I was afraid you'd be able to see sweat stains, but thankfully that never happened."

August 25
The B&B Fan Club Luncheon at the Universal Studios Hilton, Universal City.
"This is an H&M $22 dress. It's fun and easy to wear. I love the geometric designs. I had to wear boy shorts under this because it's so short. This looks really cute with leggings."
