BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL Timeline

Brooke (Katheirne Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Ronn Moss)
— CBS

Working Girl

1987-1990: Not much for the resumé here. Brooke helps her mom with catering, plus works at a hospital, but her biggest job is chasing Ridge. After losing him to Caroline, Brooke starts up a romance with Eric and later gives birth to their son. Brooke mentions to Eric that when the time is right, she would like to work at Forrester.

Brooke marries Eric (John McCook R.) with Ridge by her side.
— CBS

1991-92: Brooke and Eric tie the knot. He comes home one day to find his wife conducting experiments in a quest to waterproof diapers. Impressed, Eric suggests building a lab for her at Forrester. She's thrilled and once the facility is ready, Brooke delves into research and development, even though she isn't considered a paid employee. Brooke develops a formula that renders fabric wrinkle-free. Eureka! She and Ridge (now a widower) celebrate this achievement by having sex on the floor of the lab. Eric dubs Brooke's miracle treatment BeLieF (after her initials, Brooke Logan Forrester) and publicly unveils it.

Brooke
— CBS

1993-94: Brooke wants a divorce, but doesn't know she owns the patent to BeLieF. (She wasn't under contract to Forrester when she invented it.) Before Brooke can find out, the Forresters conspire to snatch the patent by having Ridge charm her into signing over the rights. Brooke discovers the plot and gets angry — really angry. She agrees to sign over BeLieF in exchange for 51 percent of Forrester. Not wanting to give up the mega-profit potential of BeLieF, Eric grudgingly agrees and Brooke is named the new CEO. She orders Stephanie to vacate her office to make way for Brooke's new corporate digs. Announcing that it's time to run Forrester like a business instead of a mom-and-pop operation, Brooke has production stepped up. She also proposes that the fashion house start designing high-end clothes for men.
