1998-99
Taylor decided to come clean, but on the way to stop Ridge and Brooke's nups, she went into labor. Taylor named her son Thomas and finally clued in Ridge after his honeymoon. When he learned that Brooke had known the truth about Thomas, Ridge dumped her. He and Taylor wed again. But the newlyweds' bliss was soon threatened when renowned motivational speaker Pierce Peterson hired Taylor as his associate. She assisted with a daring hypnosis project, but it was Pierce who became entranced by Taylor. When he declared his love, she quit her job.

Taylor got pregnant and she moved into a Bel Air mansion with Ridge. She contracted TB from a homeless man, but resisted the therapy that could harm her unborn twin daughters. After delivery, Taylor "died," but was revived. She and Ridge named their girls Steffy and Phoebe.

2000-01
Ridge's former girlfriend, Morgan, was hired as a Forrester designer, but confessed a huge secret: Years ago, she aborted Ridge's baby at Stephanie's behest. Still in love with Ridge, she tricked him into having sex and became pregnant. Ridge kept his wife in the dark, but he finally confessed. An emotional Taylor tussled with Morgan, who fell and lost her baby. Ridge and Taylor reconciled, but a deranged Morgan staged Steffy's death and kidnapped the tot. Taylor almost had a mental breakdown, then was stunned to discover that Morgan was holding Steffy. Morgan imprisoned Taylor, but Ridge came to the rescue and his ex went to prison. When Brooke came sniffing around Ridge again, Taylor conspired with Massimo to have her rival dispatched to Paris on a fake family emergency. When Ridge found out, Taylor feared a split, but he forgave her. She also counseled Kristen's new boyfriend, Tony, who had contracted HIV.

2002
Taylor helped Amber grapple with her addiction to painkillers. One night, Taylor walked in on Sheila holding Eric at gunpoint and was shot. At the hospital, Taylor deduced she was near death and had herself removed from life support. She then quietly died in Ridge's arms.

2005
While attending Nick and Bridget's garden wedding, Ridge investigated a commotion in the nearby bushes. He was shocked to see his supposedly dead wife being held by a masked man. Before he could react, Ridge was struck from behind and the trespassers fled. The Forresters feared for Ridge's sanity when he insisted that he had seen Taylor. Finally, he dug up her grave and found a rubber replica in the coffin. Prince Omar appeared and explained that Taylor never died. After forging her death certificate, Omar took his Laila back to Morocco and once again, brought her back to a full recovery. Taylor then stepped out of the shadows and Ridge was overjoyed. However, her return has caused complications because Ridge has once again married Brooke and they now share a son, R.J. Taylor is patiently awaiting Ridge's decision on which wife he'll stay with.
