DAYS Quiz: Minor Roles In Major Plots

Remember that old adage, "There are no small roles, only small actors"? Well, we're putting it to the test with the following quiz. Based on some clues, see if you can recall these minor and short-term Salem characters (played by a variety of talented actors) who made a storyline impact on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

1. "When Sami was just a teen, I was her BFF. In fact, I was the one who discovered she was bulimic. Despite our friendship, I never really approved of Sami's schemes to break up Austin and Carrie. In fact, I was the one who told Kate that Sami had drugged Austin to get him into bed with her."
2. "Vivian first became interested in me upon learning I owned an expensive townhouse and all its treasures. She even hosted a fake séance, invoking my deceased wife, Flora Dora, to emerge and tell me to move on with Vivian. We wed in England, but I suffered a heart attack after consummating the marriage. Vivian inherited all of my treasures."

3. Susan (Eileen Davidson) and Edmund's (Adam Caine) wedding in 1998. — JPI

   "I fell in love with Susan Banks when she came to stay at my mother Violet's pub in England, and ultimately followed her back to Salem. I proposed, and we got married. Later, I learned my bride was actually Kristen, when Susan escaped an island harem where she'd been held prisoner and confronted us. Susan and I reunited, sent Kristen off to the harem, and headed to England to raise baby Elvis together."
4. "I was a wealthy eccentric woman who lived in Lugano, Switzerland. I surfaced when John and Hope came to town and I recognized my old friend ‘Princess Gina,' and explained how most of my art treasures had been stolen. Eventually, I learned Hope was just a Gina look-alike, but remained close to her and accompanied her back to Salem. Months later, I exposed Gina, when she masqueraded as Hope and wed Bo, because I recognized her very distinct birthmark."
5. "You could call me a mafia princess. My daddy, Vincent, was an Italian mob boss. I was introduced when Brandon and Sami were searching for the tape where Kate was forcing Roberto to confess to Franco's murder. I ended up with the tape, but would only give it to Brandon if he married me. So he did. When my dad's henchmen saw Brandon and Sami kissing, he hired hit men to kill Sami and Brandon at Greta's coronation. The plan backfired when I dove in front of Brandon and ended up dead."
6. "Remember adorable J.T., the little boy Bo and Hope believed to be their son? Well, I was his biological father; the man who got Rolf's niece, Marlo, pregnant. Eventually, I ended up getting custody of the child."
7. "I worked as a lab technician at Salem University Hospital, but lost my job and my pension when Sami blackmailed me into looking the other way while she switched the results of Theo's paternity test. Later, I conspired with Kate against Sami, and I worked as Lucas' personal assistant at Titan, too."
8. "When Shawn and Belle ran off with Claire after Philip was granted sole custody of the child, they ended up at my bar/rooming house in Tinda Lao. My daughter Gabby and I kept them safe. Can you remember my name? Here's a hint: Quack, quack!"
9. "Shawn started dating me after he broke up with Mimi, fully aware that I was a former prostitute. I got a little jealous when he started spending lots of time with Belle and Claire. Then Shawn broke up with me and I went off the deep end, setting his loft on fire. I accidentally set a fire at Bo and Hope's house, too, and tried to frame Chelsea for it."
10. "For months I wreaked havoc at Salem University, drugging and raping several female students, including Kordy and Stephanie. Eventually, the sisters of Alpha Chi Theta decided to take action by setting a trap with Chelsea. A scuffle ensued, and I fell down the stairs to my death. The sisters hid my body in the basement."
