DAYS - Who Said That?Actors often say the darndest things during interviews. Soap Opera Weekly has compiled some of the most intriguing, telling and outrageous quotes from the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES. See if you can guess which Salemite, past or present, said it....
1. Commenting on his younger leading lady, this actor said: "The age difference didn't bother me all that much. I see that all the time with a lot of old farts that I know...all of them that can manage it. It all really depends on the story, and the story has been good." (2001)
2. "I would never step in out of vanity about not wanting to have an older child. That's a thing I feel is not my place. I would not go to bat over something like that. I'm not that vain." (2006)
3. "I'm a ham. I love being in front of people. Who wouldn't want to go up and do what Garth Brooks does for a living? It would be great." (2000)
4."You have to inform your children about the world in which they live, so they, God forbid, in a scary moment, keep themselves safe. 'That is dope. Those are drugs. Here's what they do.' You teach them, so they have a knee jerk reaction to it. So when I'm not there, they can hear my words and my husband's words in their ears." (2001)

9. "As an actor my goal is to get an Emmy nomination. In the past, I never thought my storyline or even my performance brought me to that level. But I've been working in classes twice a week. You've got to do the time to make yourself better." (2003)
10. "Frances (Reid, Alice) is always prepared and she questions things. She'll say, 'Wait! This is not right.' [She's taught me] to be on top of things. Don't come to work and call it in, because there are 10,000 people out there that can come in and do your job for you — and do it better." (2003)
11. "People think everyone in Hollywood is so high-class, living la vida loca. I'm not really like that. I get so much excitement at my job, that when I come home I want to hang out... just relax. I have no problem not going out on a Saturday night; just staying home, sitting outside, and listening to music or reading a book. Simple stuff." (1999)
12. "I like to talk about other stuff besides boys who like me, who I like, who I'm going to get [together] with, how much I drank last night. 'I'm so hung over today' and, 'Oh, my God! I'm going to get breast implants.' I'm just NOT like that. I'm very low-maintenance and easy to please." (2003)
