Bill Hayes (Doug, DAYS) fans can keep his voice nearby all holiday season long. He is promoting his new CD of tradional and modern standards called "This Is Bill Hayes."

"I sang 'Blue Moon' at my grandson's wedding and so that's on there," Hayes recalls. Also on the album is wife Susan Seaforth Hayes' (Julie, DAYS) favorite song 'My Romance,' as well as other standards. "It has a lot of goodies," he promises.

Hayes opens the CD with a rousing rendition of 'Hooray for Hollywood," and even sings in Italian on 'Con Te Partiro.' "We wanted an extremely varied group of songs," he explains.

Hayes recorded the CD in Glendale while working around his schedule at DAYS. "Many of the color instruments [were added] later on while I wasn't even there. It was really very quickly done and it's wonderful," Hayes enthuses.
