Weekly: Your first weeks back you didn't get to interact much with anyone, because Jan was stalking Shawn. Was that weird?
Olson: Actually, it was kind of cool, although I would like to know what Jan is up to. She's definitely got something [up her sleeve].

Weekly: It looks like Jan has still got it bad for Shawn, would you agree?
Olson: Jan is obsessed with Shawn, because she believes she's in love with him. He is the only guy who ever saw Jan as a person in her life. It's hard to get over that, and I don't think Jan has. When Jan was in Salem before she was closer to Shawn than she ever was to her parents. That's why she did everything in her power, including lying and getting him to break up with his girlfriend, to keep him.

Weekly: Are you worried about the backlash from Shawn and Belle fans, if Jan tries to split the couple, again?
Olson: That's Jan's job! (giggles) Besides, you can't have a perfect couple be perfect for too long. And Belle has no problem getting other guys. Jan has only ever found one: Shawn. It's Jan's turn [to be happy].

Weekly: What were you doing while you were away from DAYS?
Olson: I spent a lot of time with my goddaughter, Skylar, which was a lot of fun. It's definitely gives you a different perspective seeing a 2-year-old's point of view of the world. I also started concentrating on other ends of the entertainment business. I've been helping to produce, co-create, design and merchandise an animated TV show. That's been keeping me busy. It's been interesting doing the behind the scenes stuff. I always knew it was hard work but didn't realize just how hard.

Weekly: How did you get involved in this project?
Olson: A friend of mine came up with a great concept for a show. We started talking about it and working on it, coming up with ideas and characters. One thing sort of led to another. Right now, the characters have been created and animated. It's been cool. There's still more to do. It will be a while before the show is out there.
