Special Guests in Salem
1. Ruth Buzzi
Eugene Bradford moved in with his eccentric cousin Leticia in 1983, marking a short but memorable appearance by comedic actress Ruth Buzzi in the quirky role. As fate would have it, Leticia soon ended up dead with a raven's feather in her hand, and Eugene was the prime suspect. However, Eugene swore he didn't do it. Instead, he blamed her murder on the Bradford family curse.
2. Al Jarreau
Liz Chandler met Al Jarreau in 1984, when she brought him some songs she wrote. Liz ended up coaxing him into singing with her at a spring charity event to benefit the new psychiatric wing at Salem University Hospital. The pair wowed the crowd with a showstopping duet, unaware that Stefano had arranged for a bomb to blow up the theater in which they were performing.

Jensen Ackles (ex-Eric) and LeAnn Rimes
3. LeAnn Rimes
Country music sweetheart LeAnn Rimes realized a personal dream when she got to appear on her favorite soap, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, for three days in 1998. Rimes played Madison, a teenage runaway, opposite Jensen Ackles (ex-Eric). After accidentally bumping into the handsome Brady boy, Madison was thrilled when he actually befriended her.
Peter Rekell (Bo) and Michael Bublé
4. Michael Bublé
Michael Bublé crooned as a lounge singer back in 2003 in scenes with Peter Reckell (Bo) and Kristian Alfonso (Hope). The Salem supercouple fantasized about how different things would have been if they'd met as adults instead of children. They imagined a chance encounter at a bar and sharing a dance together as Bublé softly serenaded them.
Scott Reeves and Blue County
5. Blue County
Connections, connections. DAYS had an "in" luring country music band Blue County to the show. Melissa Reeves (ex-Jennifer) is married to lead singer Scott Reeves. Reeves, Aaron Benward and the rest of their band performed at Alice's honky-tonk bar in April 2004. Judi Evans had a blast hooting and hollering with the guys, as Bonnie hopped up onstage to dance with them.

Heather Mills McCartney
6. Heather Mills McCartney
In 2005, after Marine Private Philip Kiriakis was injured in the line of duty by a land-mine explosion and lost his leg, he faced serious emotional scars and a long rehabilitation. Adopt-A-Minefield Goodwill Ambassador Heather Mills McCartney guest-starred as herself opposite Kyle Brandt (ex-Philip). In an effort to help the wounded soldier cope with his injury, Mills McCartney visited him in the hospital, provided words of wisdom and tried to give him the courage to move on.
Donald Trump and Alison Sweeney (Sami)
7. Donald Trump
Billionaire business mogul Donald Trump made his soap opera debut in scenes with John Ingle (Mickey) and Arianne Zuker (ex-Nicole) in 2005. After a meeting with Mickey, The Donald ran into Nicole, who tried to hit him up for a job. Not surprisingly, he turned her down and plugged his reality show, THE APPRENTICE.
Kathy Griffin and Austin Peck (ex-Austin)
8. Kathy Griffin
Bravo TV's MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST star, Kathy Griffin, added daytime to her résumé in 2005, when she portrayed a plucky limo driver who drove Austin Peck (Austin) back to the show after a three-year absence. In the storyline, Austin was headed to Salem to attend the wedding of his former fiancée, Sami, to his brother, Lucas. Of course, in true Sami fashion, the ceremony never took place.
