I love soaps and started to watch with my grandmother when I came to the United States in 1990. I am so disappointed with what I’m seeing in soaps today. I am a Black female and there is a total Black out on Soaps. They Are a few exception such as All My Children, Young and the Restless and may be Days of Our Lives. And even to these exceptions have a lot more work to do. The show that I love the most is the worse “General Hospital” along with One Life to Live, As the World Turns and Bold and the Beautiful. What is going on in today's soaps are by no means reflecting the different kind of family living in the world today.
