Too Much

Digest: Sage is not a very nice character, to say the least. How do you like playing her?
Stuart: I love it! She is awesome! I love the clothes and I love all of the people I'm working with. Sage is so much fun for me; she's sort of an outlet for me. You know, if I'm in a bad mood, I can justify it as getting ready for my character [laughs]. But right now, Sage is actually having a heart. She's showing some vulnerability, and she's really starting to show that she cares about other people. So, it's great to play these different sides of her.

Digest: The fans haven't been too happy since Sage waltzed in and busted up Georgie and Dillon. Have you been made aware of that?
Stuart: (laughing) Yeah, I know. A few people have recognized me on the streets ... but they have all been really excited. Honestly, the few people who do recognize me take my character as a joke. They don't really hate me. I mean, I know there are people who do, but they don't write to me. I think they hate me too much to write in [laughs].

Digest: How do you like working with Scott Clifton (Dillon)?
Stuart: Scott is so funny! He's one of those people who you can laugh with and laugh at. And Lindze [Letherman, Georgie] is just the sweetest thing in the world.

Digest: So, you all get along in real life.
Stuart: Oh, my God, yeah! We go out to lunch and we bought each other Christmas presents; it's been great.

Digest: Will we see more of Sage and Alcazar's relationship?
Stuart: I hope so. Ted [King, Alcazar] is an amazing actor. He really helps me tap into my emotions, as well as my character's, and I just love working with him. I would love to see Sage and Alcazar's relationship get a little deeper.

Digest: What do you do when you're not working?
Stuart: I hang out with my friends. Oh, and I go to USC. I'm a music industry student, a business/music major.

Digest: How do you juggle this part and school?
Stuart: I'm going [to school] part-time this semester because last semester, by the time finals came, I was freaking out — getting two hours of sleep a night and drinking a lot of Red Bull [laughs]!
