Catching Up With ... Corbin Bernsen (ex-Durant, GH, 2004-06; ex-Todd, Y&R, 2003, 2004)

HE'S GOT GAME (SHOW): Corbin has more than ENOUGH projects to keep him busy.
— KELSEY S. McNEAL

"Corbin is forging into new territory once again," chuckles the film, prime-time and soap vet, who's tackling a new challenge as game-show host on GSN's HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH? "It's a simple game in which four contestants vie for a certain sum of money and &mdash are you the greediest? It's great fun."

As for the always-busy Bernsen's other commitments, "PSYCH is my priority," he states of the crime comedy/mystery series in which he appears, now in its second season on USA Network. "I'm finishing up Donna on Demand," he notes of the indie thriller he directed last year starring himself, Adrienne Frantz (Amber, Y&R/B&B) and mom Jeanne Cooper (Katherine, Y&R). "I just did a horror movie called Vipers and played a bad guy. And, our production company [Public Media Works] is in the process of setting up the family Christmas comedy 3 Day Test, which will shoot in the next few months."

Bernsen adds that his personal life is just as fulfilling. "My Academy Award is that I've been married for 20 years, have four wonderful children and I love my wife [actress Amanda Pays] more today than I did yesterday," he gushes.

He also looks back fondly on his GH days. "I always see Nancy [Lee Grahn, Alexis]," he smiles. "Her daughter is in my son's grade. I miss GH," he admits. "I wish there could have been a continuum there. I know it's a lot to ask for in one's life, to have everything, but I so enjoyed that experience and the experience of the whole soap world. I'm not done with it. My days with the soap opera presentation are not over."
