Reva and Josh (Kim Zimmer and Robert Newman)
— Dean Michaels/CBS

Perfect 10
— By Melissa Scardaville
Couple In Question: Josh and Reva
When They Met: A time-traveling expedition proved to the lovers that they had known each other in several lifetimes. For our purposes, however, Josh and Reva met as children in Oklahoma (Reva was the daughter of the Lewis housekeeper).
Their Rocky Road: When Josh headed to college, a vengeful Reva married his brother, Billy. In 1983, Reva came to Springfield announcing that she and Billy were still married (they weren't). Soon, she reconnected with Josh and fireworks resumed. But Josh left her after he learned of her collusion with Alan, and Reva crawled into H.B.'s bed. She wedded the Lewis patriarch, but couldn't keep her hands off Josh. Eventually, H.B. granted Reva a divorce, and although she fell for Kyle, she couldn't really get over Josh. After the Sonni/Solita chaos was straightened out, Josh and Reva wed, but their happiness was short-lived. Severe postpartum depression drove Reva over the edge (literally a bridge in Florida). She was presumed dead and a practically catatonic Josh had a hard time moving on. By 1995, Josh was ready to put his life in order and hoped that nurse Annie would be the gal for him. Before they could tie the knot, Reva returned to Springfield. Although the two didn't reunite right away (she married Buzz, he wed Annie), they — and their respective spouses — realized that the pair couldn't stay apart.
Memorable Moment: Praised by some, panned by others, Reva's clone certainly caused a stir in 1998, although it's never mentioned today (some would say thankfully). On a more positive note, the couple's family-oriented, outdoor Cross Creek wedding in 1989 was lush, beautiful, romantic and a fan favorite.
Tied The Knot In: 1989, 1999, 2002
Offspring: Marah (1987) and Shayne (1990)
Where Are They Now? Since the arrival of Reva's twisted son, Jonathan, in 2004, the couple has been at odds over what role the nefarious newcomer should play in their lives.

Mallet and Harley (Mark Derwin and Beth Ehlers)
— Robin Platzer/Twin Images

Couple In Question: Harley and Mallet
When They Met: Mallet was Harley's instructor when she joined the police academy in 1991.
Their Rocky Road: At first, Harley thought Mallet was being too tough on her, but she soon realized that his behavior was the result of his budding romantic feelings. She reciprocated, but since he was her superior, they kept their relationship under wraps. Going public didn't make life easier. In 1992, Mallet was injured in a explosion that left him impotent and deaf. He got a service dog, Xyla, and pushed Harley away because he felt she deserved better. She demanded to be by his side; the two reconciled and eventually, he healed completely.
Memorable Moment: In 1992, while locked in a cellar, a frostbitten and delirious Harley confessed to Mallet that she loved him.
Tied The Knot In: 1993
Offspring: None
Where Are They Now? When Harley returned to town in 1997, she revealed that she and Mallet had divorced. (He had cheated on her.) Now, some fans think that Gus may be the love of her life.

Couple In Question: Danny and Michelle
When They Met: In 1998, Carmen vowed to kill Michelle, who she blamed for her son, Mick's death. Danny didn't feel that Michelle deserved to be axed, so he quickly married her, hoping to put an end to Carmen's threats.
Their Rocky Road: What began as a marriage of survival blossomed into love, but Carmen fought it every step of the way. In 1999, she framed Michelle for Ben's murder. The following year, Carmen faked her death, then returned to kidnap Michelle. Danny shot (fatally, he thought) his mom to free Michelle. That drama tore the couple apart, but after the birth of their child, Robbie, in 2001, they reconciled and Carmen was carted away to a prison hospital (she's in a coma). All was smooth sailing until 2004, when a warehouse explosion caused by Danny led to Michelle's memory loss. She took solace in Tony's arms; Danny looked to mend his broken heart with Marina.
Memorable Moment: Fans fell even more in love with this couple when Danny and Michelle consummated their marriage in 1999.
Tied The Knot In: 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003
Offspring: Robbie (2001)
Where Are They Now? While some fans — and Robbie — believe that they are still soul mates, Danny and Michelle are currently pursuing a divorce.

Leslie and Mike (Lynne Adams and Don Stewart)
— Leslie Murray
|
Couple In Question: Leslie and Mike
When They Met: After Mike returned to Springfield from Bay City in 1968, he met Leslie and was instantly smitten. Unfortunately, she was married to his brother, Ed, at the time.
Their Rocky Road: Leslie and Mike managed a platonic friendship for awhile, but it eventually gave way to an affair. Ed left town and gave Leslie a divorce, and despite her love for Mike, Leslie married Stanley. When he was murdered in 1971, Mike successfully defended Leslie, for whom he still carried a torch. After receiving the blessing of Leslie's father, the two married at the Bauer home in 1973. Although Mike was rattled when Leslie wanted to go back to college, their marriage remained surprising stable until Leslie died in 1976 after being struck by a car.
Memorable Moment: In 1969, Mike was shot by Flip Malone and Leslie (who had been out of town) rushed to his hospital bed and finally admitted that she loved him.
Tied The Knot In: 1973
Offspring: None
Where Are They Now? It took several years for Mike to recover from Leslie's death. He dated a few Springfielders, but never remarried. He moved to D.C. in 1984.

Jenna and Buzz (Fiona Hutchison and Justin Deas
— Gregory Cherin/PGP

Couple In Question: Buzz and Jenna
When They Met: Buzz helped Jenna when she had car trouble on her first day in town in 1992.
Their Rocky Road: Though Buzz pulled out all the stops to show Jenna that he was the man for her, Jenna decided to marry Roger in 1993. After Roger put her through the wringer — and Buzz saved the day numerous times — Jenna finally admitted to Buzz that she was ready to be with him. Her marriage to Roger annulled, Buzz popped the question. They agreed to meet at Towers, but when Buzz was detained, Jenna assumed that he didn't want to tie the knot. To make matters worse, Jenna was pregnant and couldn't find a way to tell Buzz. More miscommunication ensued when Nadine and Buzz appeared on the game show SOUL MATES. Jenna departed in 1994 without telling Buzz that she was carrying his child. Two years later, she returned with Buzz's son, Cooper, and her evil husband, Jeffrey. Buzz got Jeffrey hauled off to jail, but Jenna and Buzz's romance was thwarted by Nola. Jenna was pregnant by Jeffrey, but Buzz wanted to marry her before the baby was born (they just made it). Later in 1998, Jeffrey returned, and he and Jenna were killed in a car wreck.
Memorable Moment: Buzz tracked Jenna down at the airport in 1994 and despite his heartrending pleas, she left town.
Tied The Knot In: 1998
Offspring: Coop and Ian
Where Are They Now? Buzz removed his wedding ring several years after Jenna's death, but has not remarried.
