Alan and India (Mary Kay Adams)

1986: Alan returned to Springfield and allied himself with India (Mary Kay Adams). Alan and Alex fought for control of Spaulding Enterprises.

1987: Alan and India teamed up on an art scam. Meanwhile, Phillip started working at Spaulding, determined to oust his father.

1988: Alan married Reva, who was in a coma. When she woke up, they annulled the marriage, but she then said that she wanted to marry him properly. Phillip managed to take over the company and stole all of Alan's money. Alan and Josh united to fight Phillip.

1989: Alan and Blake became lovers while working to prove that Phillip had illegally taken over Spaulding.

1990: Alan (Ron Raines) went to prison for four years.

1994: After being freed, Alan joined forces with Alan-Michael against Alex and Nick.

Alan and Reva (Kim Zimmer)

1995: Alan found an amnesiac Reva (Kim Zimmer) at an Amish farm. He fell in love with her and brought her back to Springfield when her memory returned.

1996: Alan was blackmailed by Amanda so that she could run Spaulding Enterprises. Alan embarked on a plan to destroy Fifth Street, but wound up abandoning it.

Alan and Cassie (Laura Wright)

1997: Alan teamed up with his girlfriend, Annie, to pay Cassie (then-Laura Wright) to come to town to destroy her family, the Lewises. They forced Cassie to work against them because Alan had custody of her daughter, Tammy.

1998: Reva ruined Alan's wedding to Annie.

1999: Through Spaulding Enterprises, Alan stole Lewis Oil from Josh and Billy.

2000: Claire moved in with Alan.

Alan and Olivia (Crystal Chappell) marry

2001: Olivia (Crystal Chappell) cheated on her husband, Josh, with Alan. When Reva filled Josh in on Liv's adultery, he divorced his wife.

2002: Alan faked a heart attack to keep Olivia and Phillip apart. He later married Liv. Alan hired Edmund to seduce Alexandra.

Phillip (Grant Aleksander)

2003: Olivia left town to figure out if she loved Alan or Phillip. Gus learned that he was Alan's son.

2004: Though no one in town knew it, Alan supposedly killed Phillip (Grant Aleksander). However, it was later revealed that he really faked his son's death.

Alan and Beth (Beth Chamberlin) marry

2005-06: Alan spent much of 2005 in a sanitarium. He married Beth (Beth Chamberlin), who testified against him, along with Alex and Lizzie, at his competency hearing, but he was freed nonetheless. Currently, Alan has disappeared, courtesy of Gus, who has also gone missing.
