Forbes March (Nash)
— ABC

Five Hot Minutes With OLTL's Forbes March

— By Lauren Flynn

Soap Opera Digest: Jessica and Nash have a habit of getting stuck in close quarters together: the cave, the steam room, and most recently, the storage room. What was Nash doing in that steam room anyway?
Forbes March: There was a whole discussion on whether Nash should be in shape and I decided Nash should be in better shape than Forbes is without working out. I just don't get the feeling that Nash is a go-to-the-gym kinda guy. The writers actually picked up on that. They wrote a scene with Antonio and Nash at the gym, and the whole gag was Nash doesn't work out; he seems to spend a lot of time in the steam room. He's always in the steam room [laughs]! I questioned them about that, but apparently, everybody else seems to be okay with that.

Digest: He probably stays in shape stocking those shelves in the back room at Capricorn.
March: He's definitely doing something to stay in shape in that stock room!

Nash (March) and Jessica (Bree Williamson) follow their instincts when in danger ... by making out!
— Lorenzo Bevilaqua/ABC

Digest: Which brings me to my next question. So the fire is blazing outside the storage room and Jessica and Nash are aware of it. Why do they choose that moment to get it on?
March: Well, I don't think it was really chosen; that's why they call it 'sparks.' These two choose not to be together; it's just that it keeps happening. Whenever anything happens, they just kind of jump on each other and realize they should have been stopped. These two really want to be together, kind of anywhere. And any time anything happens to allow that, that's their natural instinct. This whole story is desire over duty. And when duty weakens for any reason, desire jumps in to the fill the void. So they're stuck in this closed space and they're about to die and they panic and they embrace and ... oops!

Digest: Well, it was also convenient that he took his shirt off first to put it under the door.
March: Well, yes. That's what I would do. I wouldn't use the towels. I would use my shirt. Especially if there's a hot blonde who I'd really like to make out with in the room.... Pants! That's what I should have used. I mean, my pants are longer. They didn't want that. I though it would have been really funny if Nash pulled off his pants and was left with a long shirt with his shirttails hangin' down.

Digest: Did you suggest that?
March: I did. They didn't go for it. I thought he should be in, like, Fruit of the Loom, you know, what do you call those things? Boxer briefs? No, Fruit of the Loom tighty-whities and a white shirt and no pants. And black socks [laughs].

Digest: Instead, Antonio finds a tablecloth and drapes it over himself.
March: Which Nash couldn't fit under. And having abandoned all hope of further life, he decides to leave the door open.
