1994: Cassie found an abandoned baby and took him in. When his biological mother, Beth Garvey, decided that she wanted to keep the child after all, it sent Cassie over the edge and she had a nervous breakdown and rejected Andrew. The pastor turned to Marty and quickly realized he could not deny his sexual feelings for her, but he remained faithful. Eventually, Cassie got better. Then, when Beth Garvey died of a killer virus, her last request was that Cassie and Andrew adopt the baby, River. One night later that year, Andrew grabbed Marty and kissed her. In the following weeks, they shared a few more clandestine kisses, but Marty eventually realized that Andrew didn't feel the same way she felt about him, so they called it quits.

1995: Andrew's father died from Hodgkin's disease.

1997: Cassie had sex with Kevin and when she told Andrew, he quickly ended their marriage. The two managed to keep a cordial relationship for River's sake.

1999: Andrew helped Kevin talk Cassie down from the ledge of the bell tower when it appeared she had succumbed to the Cramer madness and lost touch with reality. Later that year, he persuaded Nora into getting a DNA test to determine Matthew's paternity. (Lindsay paid a tech to make it look as though Sam was the father, even though it was really Bo.)

2001: Andrew showed up to marry Blair and Todd, and perform baby Jack's christening.

2006: Andrew came to Todd's prison cell to help bring him peace before his execution.
