PASSIONS Feature

Spike (Chris Maleki) helped a panicky Jessica (Danica Stewart) hide her first dead customer.
— Paul Skipper/JPI

PASSIONS: To Be Continued?

The Case Of The Murdered Johns: 2005 was a horrible year for the previously sweet and innocent Jessica. She was introduced to drugs and alcohol, met bad boy Spike and became a prostitute. She also started waking up next to dead johns, who Spike claimed she'd killed. The louse then blackmailed her into marrying him to keep quiet in 2006.
What We Need To Know: Who really killed the johns, and why?
What We Want To See: Jessica learn the truth so she can be free of Spike's dirty, tight grasp.

The Mystery That Is Chris Boothe: Sheridan met her husband in 2005 after the tsunami left behind a motherless boy. Chris arrived in Harmony claiming to be James's father, who had been in hiding in the Witness Protection Program. Thanks to Spike, we know that Chris was hired by Alistair to marry Sheridan, and that he's connected to the Omega mystery.
What We Need To Know: How did Chris get caught up in Alistair's scheme? Was he a criminal in the past? Is he really James's father?
What We Want To See: The Harmony Police Department close in on everyone connected to Alistair's Omega plot, including Spike and Chris. We also want to see Sheridan learn the truth about her hubby and gain full custody of her adopted son.

Will Tabitha (Juliet Mills) expose Julian (Ben Masters) as Endora's (Nicole Cox) father?
— Sean Smith/JPI

The Paternity Of Endora: Tabitha and Julian had a drunken rendezvous in 2003 and conceived the adorable Endora. The cutie's parents are the only people who know the identity of her father.
What We Need To Know: Who will end up with Endora if Julian sues for custody?
What We Want To See: Endora tell Fox that she loves him like her brother — because he is!

Who's The Killer? Phyllis the maid and Grace were murdered. There was evidence linking Chris and Spike to Phyllis's murder, and a faux priest put a bomb on Grace's bus after she told Sam that she knew someone was out to get everyone in Harmony.
What We Need To Know: Who killed Phyllis? Why? Who was the "priest?" Why did he want Grace dead? What did Grace want to tell Sam?
What We Want To See: The murderers exposed and punished.

Will Ethan (Eric Martsolf) finally learn the truth about the woman he married?
— Sean Smith/JPI

The Infamous Rag Source: Since 2001, Ethan has wanted to know who leaked his true paternity to the tabloid that exposed him as Sam Bennett's son, not Julian Crane's. (A sentence that viewers know by heart.) Gwen and Rebecca framed Theresa as the source by sending the incriminating e-mail from her laptop. Theresa tried her best to prove it was her blond rival who did the dastardly deed, and thought she hit the jackpot when reporter J.T. Cornell showed up. However, Cornell betrayed Theresa and told Ethan it was Crane maid Phyllis (who had conveniently just died) that gave him the scoop.
What We Need To Know: How to get that sentence out of our head.
What We Need To See: Ethan finally, finally learn that Gwen and Becs were the ones who sent the news to the paper.

The Biggest Secret Of All: Tabitha has been living in Harmony for years without being exposed as a witch. Rebecca, Julian, Reese and others have been suspicious, but only Kay knows the truth.
What We Need To Know: Will anyone else ever learn that Tabitha is a witch? If so, will Endora be exposed, too?
What We Want To See: The whole town learns exactly why their oldest neighbor is so eccentric, then Tabitha casts a spell to make them forget.

Got Answers?

Was Jonathan, Rebecca's ex-husband, really Gwen's father? Or was she Alistair's daughter?
Where is Hank? Rachel?
Will Charity ever learn she has supernatural powers?
Where did Jared come from? What are his secrets?
Are Alistair, Beth and Marty really alive?

The Old Man Orville Debacle: In 1999, a bird statue containing naughty pictures of Eve was passed around like a hot potato. It belonged to Orville, an old man who knew all about Eve's past. He also had a connection to Chad. Harris's birth certificate was found in Orville's fireplace with his last name scratched out. The old man died in an apartment fire that Eve ignited. During that time, a woman named Crystal showed up in Harmony. She also had a connection to Chad that she didn't reveal before she was killed.
What We Need To Know: How did Eve know Orville? What did Orville know about Chad, and how? What did Crystal know, and how?
What We Want To See: Eve at Orville's graveside confessing her deadly sin while spilling the answers to the above questions. Sam overhears the doc and punishes her for the crime.
