Born in Taft, Calif., in 1928, Jeanne Cooper attended College of the Pacific before graduating from Pasadena Playhouse School. Cooper's career included television guest spots on THE TWILIGHT ZONE, PERRY MASON, L.A. LAW, MAVERICK, TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL, THE NANNY and BEN CASEY (for which she received a prime-time Emmy nomination). She also appeared in the films The Man From AlamoThe Boston Strnagler and Tony Rome among others. Cooper had three children with husband Harry Bernsen before their 1977 divorce.
