When I first read it I thought this is so interesting because it's a character I've never played before. She was incredibly heroic to me and I felt humbled by her," Marcil admits. "Her grace in the face of adversity was lovely and very female and quite opposite of a lot of characters I've played. Bradford May was the director and he was just the joy of my life." For more from Marcil pick up the Jan. 13 issue of Soap Opera Weekly on sale this weekend.
