I can't wait to see where the Derek/Bonnie romance is going and the revelation that Derek might be Jade's father has gotten me even more excited! The potential storylines and possible conflicts are endless. It's about time Bonnie got a strong leading man and tying Derek to a core family and Oakdalians like Lily, opens many doors for the character. In addition to a measure of mystery, Derek brings brawn and much needed action to town!

I got a chance to check out Van Hansis (Luke, ATWT) in the off-Broadway show Dance Dance Revolution at the Ohio Theater in SoHo last Friday. Before the performance, I had an opportunity to chat with Van on the stage (you can check out a video of the interview with here). Van, of course, was fabulous as Wiggles, one of the leaders of an underground pack of young rebels. It was a treat to see Van flex his muscles by singing and dancing. The show was a hoot, full of an interesting mix of music — from Disney to techno. I worked up a sweat just watching the ensemble shaking their groove things around the long stage for 90 minutes. The only negative tidbit I have to report is that the show is sold out!

I had the pleasure of spending last Friday evening at Eileen Fulton's (Lisa, ATWT) Christmas cabaret show. The soap legend's show is a combination of autobiographical anecdotes, complimented by songs, including holiday classics. Her rendition of "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" was hilarious (and a bit naughty). Following the set, the actress made the rounds and chatted with her awestruck fans. It was truly magical to see people from as far away as Iowa get a chance to talk to the regal Ms. Fulton. It almost makes me wish it was Christmas everyday!

I am still completely on the fence with Noelle Beck as Lily. I want to see her do some damage along with her Mom, Lucinda. That whole relationship needs to be shown way more! And, I think Lucinda needs to be on MORE, MORE, MORE! So, let's get it going! Welcome to the fold of ATWT fans! I have been an on and off subscriber for years and an ATWT fan for over 20 years, yikes!

I'm also glad to see Jack and Janet get together. Janet is definitely a worthy adversary to Carly, and I hope that Janet wins out in the end.

Just wanted to say that I loved your interview with Terri Colombino in SOD awhile back.

It's been awhile. I hope that Erika is still blogging and covering ATWT. I thought she was doing a wonderful job!

Is Terri Colombino (Katie) pregnant in real life? You don't see much of her lately on the show. I just wondered if she is and they are working it in to the show. It will be nice for Katie and Brad to finally have a baby of their own.
