Born in Colorado, Patricia Elliott grew up as an only child and had a knack for entertaining at an early age. She briefly worked in the public relations office at Harvard University where she wound up performing in several of the school's theatrical productions. She later went on to study drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and became an acclaimed stage and television actress.

  1. She was a regular on the CBS Radio Mystery Theater program from 1974 to 1982.
  2. She won a Drama Desk Award in 1977 for playing Dorine in the Circle in the Square revival of Moliére's Tartuffe.
  3. She is an avid bike rider.
  4. She enjoys meditation, yoga and once appeared on the PHIL DONAHUE SHOW to discuss being celibate.
  5. Elliott knew early on in her life that she never wanted children.
