Jack ran into Kendall and Zach at the prison. They were there to see Erica, and Jack was meeting with Carmen. They all checked their cell phones and then were brought in. Kendall and Zach assured Erica that everything was okay with them. Erica was deeply relieved. Meanwhile, Jack tried to talk to Carmen about her case, but she was more interested in talking about his and Erica's relationship.

Jack and Carly got the kids off to school, returning to the topic of helping Lily set up Holden. "Fixing their marriage isn't your job!" cried Jack as Carly called him on his issues. Meanwhile, Holden and Lily lingered in bed and Holden jinxed things by wondering "what could possibly" come between them now. (NEVER ask that.)

Nick dropped by Katie's hospital room with duds for Storm's service but she still refused to go. "You'll say to yourself, 'My brother had one memorial and I missed it,'" he warned. Katie then asked to see the room where Storm shot himself and Nick helped her in.

Sami arrived at the mansion as EJ headed out to the gym. She asked Marlena to watch the twins so she could go, too. Marlena found John on the phone talking to a security company about the recent break-in. Daniel barged in, anxious to talk to Marlena alone. Marlena asked John to leave.

In Nikolas' hospital room, Dr. Harmon asked Elizabeth about the previous incident in which medication did not appear to be in a patient's bloodstream. Sam said something is seriously wrong at G.H. Lucky suggested there may be counterfeit drugs circulating. Nik confessed to spending $10 million to buy unapproved drugs from Ian — because he was having hallucinations of Emily.

Harley got closer to discovering why Gus never closed his cases. She figured there was a crooked cop somewhere in the force that was keeping Gus from busting his drug cases. Marina doubted Harley's suggestion. Mallet was suspicious as well, but he offered to take a closer look.

David paid Viki a pop-in visit and caught Charlie and Viki in a kiss. David reported he's been working at the Bon Jour Café, a bit of news that bowled Viki over. "You've been working?" she asked incredulously. Viki told David all about Jared being a Buchanan and that he passed all the DNA tests.

Theresa and a drugged Ethan continued to have sex in his bed at the Crane mansion. Gwen led Pilar upstairs so she could show her that Theresa was alive. Pilar desperately tried to stop her from barging in on them, to no avail. But when Gwen entered the room, Ethan and Theresa weren't there.

Nick and Jack finally had a chat at the Restless Style offices about Jack making decisions to change the magazine. Jack told Nick it was nothing personal, and he hoped Nick would understand. Nick said he did. "It'll make it a lot easier when you can't be around and I have to decide things," he noted.
