At Fusion, Kendall was distracted by thoughts of Zach. Meanwhile, Zach was at his office gazing at the divorce papers that Kendall had already signed. The image of Alexander Cambias, Sr. (Zach's father) appeared before him.

On the Fusion rooftop, Josh urged Babe to talk Bianca into leaving her marriage. Binks was resistant and when their chat disbanded, she came downstairs to talk to Kendall about Kendall's Zach woes. Their talk was interrupted by the arrival of Kendall's signed divorce papers. "Zach just gave me my answer," sighed Kendall.

At the Miranda Center, Dixie reeled from the news that Krystal was pregnant. Krystal sent Adam on his way so that she could privately insist to Dixie that her pregnancy was not the result of her one-night stand with Tad. After they left, David showed up and warned Dixie not to trust Ryan on account of Lavery's closeness with Annie. Dix was skeptical of David. He offered to kidnap Emma for her. "I don't even know if she's mine!" pointed out Dixie.

Ryan tried to stop a determined Annie from leaving town with Emma. Annie refused to talk to Ryan about Emma's father when Ryan pressed her and claimed to have no idea how Greg got Emma's picture. Ryan told Annie that he believed her and wouldn't let anyone take her daughter away. He gave her a comforting hug.

In front of JR in the Chandler living room, Colby challenged Babe to make good on her threat to expose Colby's lies about Josh. JR threw Colby out of the room so he could speak to Babe alone. Babe apologized to JR for having allowed Josh to come between them but insisted Madden didn't belong in jail. Josh showed up at the house; Colby snagged him before he could knock on the door and told Josh to go on in and expose her as a liar, since that would blow JR and Babe's marriage to bits. Josh wasn't biting so Colby pretended that Josh was attacking her and began screaming. JR, Adam and Babe were on the scene immediately. Babe announced that she intended to end this right now. She told Josh to leave. He complied. Babe faced JR, Krystal, Adam and Colby and said she could prove that Josh didn't touch Colby. "How are you gonna prove it?" questioned JR.

At the Miranda Center, Annie snagged Emma away from Dixie and then blasted Krystal for letting Dixie anywhere near her daughter. When Ryan arrived, he was furious as well. Erin took Emma home and the grown-ups continued to duke it out. Annie demanded Dix stay away from her child or she'd get the police involved. When Dixie mentioned that Madden had a photo of Emma, Annie declared she didn't have to tell them anything. Ryan calmed Annie down and sent her home so he could talk to Dixie and David alone. Convinced Emma wasn't Kate, Ryan scolded David for what he was doing to Dixie, but assured Dix he'd do what he could to help her get information. Later, Dixie opened up to Krystal about how desperate she was to get Kate back for Tad as much as herself. When Adam arrived, Dixie was stunned to learn Krystal was preggers. Wheels obviously started to turn in her head... Meanwhile, over at Ryan's, Annie planned to leave town with Emma, but as she opened the door, Ryan was standing before her. "You and Emma are staying here," he insisted.

On the Fusion rooftop, Josh, Kendall and Bianca shared a Kane-style family reunion. "Welcome to a lifetime of Kane women," Binks smiled as she hugged Josh. But after that, the snarkfest began as Josh and Kendall continued to fight over Babe. "Do you want your brother sleeping with that skank?" Kendall asked Binks, and clued her sis in on Josh's affair. Bianca (miracle worker that she is) managed to get Kendall to agree not to spill the beans to JR. After Kendall left, Josh saw how much pull Binks had on people. Now he needed her help: Convince Babe to leave JR for him. Meanwhile, downstairs, Kendall and Babe had a heated run in. But Babe promised Kendall she'd protect her brother — and not hurt him.

Over at Pine Valley High, Babe arrived to insist Sean tell her if he (or any other high school boy) slept with Colby the night of the Sweet 16. He denied it and left with Sydney. Colby, who overheard the entire thing, blasted Babe and then presented her with an ultimatum: Tell JR about your affair, or Josh goes to jail. Meanwhile, at the Chandler mansion, Adam and JR discussed the possibility that Colby could be lying about Josh. Adam pointed out that if Josh was behind bars, he wouldn't be able to get to Babe. Adam advised his son to keep his mouth shut about any doubts they had about Colby's story. Later, JR and Colby had a heart-to-heart where JR thanked her for helping get Josh out of his hair. Colby was pleased her brother saw her as a true Chandler and wondered if they should take Josh down even if he didn’t touch her. Enter Babe.

On the Fusion rooftop, Kendall eavesdropped on Josh and Babe's conversation and learned that they had slept together. When Babe offered to reveal their affair to clear his name, Josh demanded to know if Babe would "tank her marriage" to be with him; Babe said she wouldn't. Josh refused to let Babe blab the truth to the cops. Kendall walked in and, after calling Babe a cheating slut, expressed her disgust that Josh had been intimate with Babe. Babe slapped Kendall. Moments later, JR showed up and demanded to know what was going on. Once tempers began to flare, Babe dragged JR downstairs and told him to leave. He reluctantly complied.... Once alone, Kendall tried to convince Josh that she sincerely cares about him. "Back off Babe," he spat. "If this is a brother/sister thing, can I have a vote?" someone piped up. That someone? Bianca.

At the Chandler manse, Krystal tried to get JR to acknowledge that he wouldn't believe Colby's statutory rape claims if she were levying them against someone other than Josh.

At the high school, Colby interrupted Sydney and Sean's private chat to berate Sean for blowing her off at BJ's. He stalked off, so Colby accused Syd of doing something to turn Sean against her.

As David secretly observed, Dixie went semi-ballistic at BJ's, freaking Annie out by claiming that Emma is actually her daughter. Tad and Ryan tried to defuse the situation. "That is Kate!" a weeping Dixie insisted to Ryan. Tad and Dix told Ryan that DNA evidence linked Tad to Kate; Ryan was dismissive when they admitted they'd gotten the proof from David. Dix felt terrible when she realized she'd caused distress to Emma with her intense display of emotion and asked Ryan to apologize to Annie on her behalf. Outside of the restaurant, David urged Dixie to keep the faith. Dix admitted that she saw her little girl in Emma's face. She agreed to follow David.... Tad assured Ryan that he wasn't trying to screw with Dixie. Tad pointed out that if there was no possibility that Emma could be Kate, Annie might not have been so wigged out by Dixie's behavior. Tad showed Ryan the picture of Emma that had been found in Greg's storage facility.

Zach sat alone in his darkened office until Di barged in and flipped on the light. Zach remained taciturn throughout Di's visit; Myrtle showed up next and tried to get Slater to open up. Myrt offered to talk to Kendall on Zach's behalf but Zach didn't go for it. After Myrtle left, Zach turned the lights out again and stared at his divorce papers. With a heavy heart, he prepared to sign them....

Annie dropped off Emma at the Miranda Center, where Krystal was working. Dixie and David arrived. "Krystal, you may have Tad's child," announced Dixie, pointing at Emma. For Tad's sake, Krystal agreed to let Dixie speak to the girl. Dix went on alert when Emma made a comment about her daddy not being her daddy. Dix asked if Emma had ever heard the word "adopted." Annie barked at Dixie to get away from her daughter.

Hauled in for questioning for the statutory rape of Colby, Josh swore to Derek that he was innocent. Colby continued to weave a tale of Josh's guilt. Jeff and Erica showed up to the station and encountered an angry JR and Adam. Colby and Josh separately returned to the waiting room and Colby continued to play the victim. Josh thanked Erica and Jeff for posting his bail.

Back at the manse, Babe assured Krystal that Josh wouldn't reveal where he truly was the night Colby lost her virginity (in the throes of passion with her). The Carey gals cornered Sydney and asked her for the truth; Syd remained evasive. Adam, JR and Colby returned home and Babe demanded that Colby admit that she was lying about Josh. Squabbling ensued all around. Once alone with JR, Babe insisted that Josh was innocent.

At BJ's, Sydney reported to Sean that Colby isn't pregnant and that she was blaming some other guy for the scare. Sean was relieved to be off the hook. He gave Colby the cold shoulder when they ran into each other as he left the eatery with Sydney.

David visited Dixie and asked her if she was ready to see her little girl at long last. He was annoyed when Tad entered at Dixie's invitation and threatened to retract his offer to reunite Dixie with Kate. When Tad doubted that Hayward was on the up and up, David said he had DNA evidence, having stolen Tad's toothbrush from his house.

Ryan, Emma and Annie enjoyed a meal at BJ's. Kendall arrived with Spike and she was clearly not digging the closeness between Ryan and Annie. After she left, Dixie and Tad arrived. Dix gasped when she saw Emma. "It's Kate!" Annie noticed Dixie and Tad together and remarked to Ryan that it was weird Dix would be out with the man who tried to get her convicted for murder. Emma ran off to play the jukebox. David watched Dixie's reaction to Kate from outside the restaurant. Tad begged Dixie to let him do the talking. They approached Annie's table. Dix could barely contain her emotion as she interacted with Kate. Tad asked to speak privately with Ryan and Annie attempted to leave with Emma. Dixie flipped and blurt out, "That's my child!"

Simone, Erin and Danielle and greeted Kendall when she returned to work at Fusion. The ladies were eager for an update on Kendall's love life; she was just as eager not to volunteer any info.... Babe met up with Josh on the Fusion rooftop and apologized to him for the predicament he was in. Kendall listened in on their conversation.
