Krystal wondered why JR wanted to "be" her son. He said he's sorry for hurting Babe, and "it just feels right." Meanwhile, Josh outlined his plan to stage a carjacking and disappear, but Babe worried about people who know she's alive blabbing. (Smart girl!) Meanwhile, Krystal wondered if JR could keep her secret if things changed. He said being Krystal's son will make him a better father, and she could be Little Adam's guardian. Josh made his case for disappearing, then Krystal arrived and revealed how she covered for Little A almost blabbing, and the bit about JR wanting to be her son. Josh suggested kidnapping Little A from Krystal's car, making her a victim to protect her. Babe was still unsure. Krystal resolved to tell Adam the truth so Babe can "come back from the dead." Babe said she wants a fresh start for Little A, and she'll never have a better chance. She'll trust in Josh. "This is goodbye," she cried, and they embraced.

Zoe entered the transgender support group, where the members were skeptical because he's a celebrity, but ultimately welcoming. When the session started, members took turns introducing themselves; some mentioned when they started their transitions or when they came out. They advised Zoe to be herself and to explore. Zoe opened up a little about feeling unloved. "You are worth being loved," said the coordinator, who said there are tens of thousands of transgender people who want to be loved. "Be like other people" and get on with life, the coordinator advised. Zoe said she's here because of "love" — and implied she loves Bianca. After the session, Zoe claimed, "For the first time in my life I know I'm not alone," and hugged Binks.

As Zach left Alexander at the police station, he warned his son, "You'll never be free." Meanwhile, an ecstatic Kendall told the just-arrived Bianca, "I'm pregnant!" Zach doesn't know yet, but Kendall thinks he's ready to be a dad. Zach, meanwhile, was facing down his own father, who taunted him: "You'll fail Kendall, too," But Zach wasn't buying his manipulation anymore. While Kendall was wondering what to wear Zach arrived home, so Binks fled. Kendall stuttered, then said, "Have a cigar!" He wanted to celebrate the end of his father's reign of terror with champagne, but she balked and asked for a bigger house.

Tad was playing pinball in his office when JR arrived with Little A. After teaching the kid pinball, Tad took them for ice cream. Later, they returned to the Chandler estate, where Tad told JR he recognized that JR was trying to distract him. JR pointed out how Tad had repeatedly helped him when he was down. JR asked Tad to help with Little A. Then an agitated Erica appeared.

Zach promised to buy Kendall any house she wanted while she dropped clunky hints about "expansion" and "growth" and "expecting" stuff and "craving" stuff, but before she could drop the B-bomb, Zach got a delivery. When he opened the envelope he shouted, "Damn it!" and threw it down. Cut to PVPD, where Alexander was perched at a table looking sinister, as if he knows something...

Josh asked Babe what she told Krystal. "I told Momma goodbye," she replied. "It's time for us to get Little Adam and go." At that moment, Erica told Tad and JR: "Babe is alive."

Zach apologized to Kendall for coming in late, but avoided telling her where he went. Myrtle surprised them, and Kendall left. Myrtle told Zach to be happy and have a family and a life. Nobody blames him for what his father did — not even the women who died. Later, Zach was signing his statement at police HQ when he flashed back to ending his father's crime spree, then turned to see Alexander in in his bright orange jumpsuit.

JR told Krystal that Little Adam claimed to have seen his mother, but she said the child simply senses all the grief in the house. Meanwhile, Josh brought Little A's mother her breakfast. Kendall stopped by and wondered if Babe is planning to disappear with her brother. Babe wasn't sure what to do yet. Then Kendall got woozy. She claimed she hadn't eaten, but Babe instantly recognized the symptoms of a soap opera pregnancy. At the Chandler mansion, Amanda wanted to commiserate with Krystal about Babe. Later, Kendall retuned home and was only too happy to let the nanny run an errand, since she wanted to take a pregnancy test (with a "magic wand.")

Erica thanked Jack for helping to save Kendall, but blamed him for the mess with Josh — meaning helping Babe play dead. He asked, "When did our meddling ever help anyone?" She was offended, but he reminded her of their wedding vow not to interfere in their children's lives. A furious Erica told him to "give Barbara my regards." At the hospital, Zoe was nervous about seeing Dr. Massy, but Bianca supported her. Zoe feared ending up in "some hormonal limbo," more confused than ever. JR spotted them and apologized for being "ignorant" and "cruel" and treating Zoe as "less than human." Then Erica arrived, but Binks had to escort Zoe to the doctor. The endocrinologist explained that hormone therapy carries risks, and some results can be seen in months. Binks was worried about circulatory and organ damage, blood clots, embolisms — some of which are fatal. Bianca told Zoe she doesn't have to go through with it. JR went to an AA meeting and told the group (including Erica) he just lost his wife and substituted anger for scotch. He's thinking about Step 8, but what if the person you need to make amends to is dead? Erica asked if JR blames Josh, but he said he's trying not to. Zoe asked to start therapy right now, but the doctor said she can't do that. Protocols must be followed, so Zoe needs a psychiatric evaluation first. And Dr. Massey wanted Zoe to speak with some "transgender folk" who live in Pine Valley and meet right here! (Who knew?)

JR returned home and asked Krystal: "Can I be your son?" Meanwhile, Josh brought Babe a Magic 8 Ball to "help" with her decision, but answers like, "Reply hazy, try again," and "Outlook not so good" were not so productive. Erica lurked outside the door and heard Josh promise Babe that "no one will ever find us again."

JR couldn't believe that Krystal wanted to bring Little Adam to Babe's grave (though she was really going to bring the child to Babe, who's alive and well.) When JR said it was time to tell Little A about Babe's death, Krystal refused. JR told Adam he wanted to be the kind of father that Adam had been to him. "I want to raise him to feel loved, to feel protected, to be free. The way Babe would want him to be raised," he said. JR said that everything Zoe had said about him was true.

Josh wanted Babe and Little A to run away with him. Babe didn't think that was a good idea at all. Josh said he wanted to make sure she had a choice. Then Little A came in. Krystal assured Josh and Babe that JR didn't suspect but Krystal asked Josh and Babe what was up. Babe told her mother about Josh's plan. Babe said goodbye to her son and said that their little visit should be a secret. Babe asked Josh for some time to be alone and to think. Later at the Chandler manse, JR said good night to Little A. His son said, "I saw Mommy." JR looked extremely puzzled.

Ryan proposed to Annie, swept her in his arms and took off. He promised Annie that Emma wouldn't get hurt because he was going to build them "a life and a family for the rest of our lives." Annie thought the proposal came out of the blue. She asked what happened in Vegas, and did it have anything to do with Kendall? Ryan said it did. Seeing what Kendall had with Zach had made Ryan want a second chance at family life. Annie needed to think. Ryan hoped to help things along by kissing her passionately.

Zoe ran into Zach in the cemetery. Zach said he owed Zoe an apology. "For suspecting me?" Zoe asked. Zoe thought Zach hated himself. Zach agreed and admitted he felt responsible for the death of all those women. Zoe hugged Zach. Awww.

The Kane women bonded and reviewed what had happened. Kendall said that Zach needed time to process the past few months. She admitted she was terrified when she was with Alexander Cambias. A Kane group hug followed. Kendall asked Erica to accept Zach and know that she loves him. She explained that Zach was not to blame for what his father did. Erica teared up and didn't want to talk about it. Kendall pointed out that she, too, had had struggled with the legacy of her father as well. (Richard Fields, the man who raped Erica.) Everyone cried.

Babe feared that JR won't let her or Krystal off the hook, so Krystal resolved to tell Adam the truth — but Josh stopped her. Meanwhile, at the Chandler mansion, Erica told Adam that Babe is "not really" dead — her spirit is too strong to die. Then she got a call from Kendall that the Satin Slayer was in custody and she's coming home. Josh admitted he heard everything, but he won't tell. In fact, he'll do everything he can to get them free of JR. Krystal and Babe bonded over Charlotte kicking in Krystal's belly.

In Las Vegas, Zach and Ryan made up with a handshake. Jamie called Julia to explain what happened. Kathy got excited about her "Daddy" Tad coming home, but Julia reminded her that Tad is "just a friend." Alexander, meanwhile, gloated that he had made everyone look like "a blithering pack of blind buffoons," and reveled in being "immortal" in their eyes. When he called Dixie's death "unfortunate," JR flipped, but Tad, Aidan and Jamie assured JR that no one will ever care about Alexander. Ryan reported that Annie will have Spike ready to meet Zach and Kendall in Pine Valley.

Krystal returned home, and Adam assumed she was happy because Erica must have told her the killer was caught. When Krystal was surprised, Adam demanded to know where she went with Josh. Krystal said she wished JR loved Babe the way Josh "does," Adam wondered, "You mean 'did'?" Krystal covered by saying feelings live on. Then she suggested taking a nap and taking Little A to a flower show. Erica told Josh and Babe the Satin Slayer has been caught, and offered to take Babe home. Babe and Josh balked; Krystal already knows she's alive, and Little A knows nothing. Erica was concerned about JR "wallowing" in guilt. Josh warned Erica to keep the secret, or else their mother/son relationship is over.

Jamie, Tad and JR recalled happier times with Dixie and lamented about what might have been. JR noted it was his and Babe's anniversary. Kendall assured Ryan he will still have unlimited access to Spike. She lamented going to the twin house in Pine Valley, so Zach vowed to find her the perfect home.

Back in PV, Broadway's Ashley Brown (of Mary Poppins) and Josh Strickland (Tarzan) arrived to take the kids to a "special Disney matinee" arranged by Ryan. Julia wondered where Jonathan was. Annie found him at Erin's grave, telling his sister the news. "Thank god for you," he said to Annie, crediting her with getting him through this — as if Erin had sent her. She offered to be his honorary sister, but said she can never be his sister-in-law. Annie brought him home, where the others were toasting the arrival of Aidan and Jamie. Jonathan embraced Aidan. Tad went to Dixie's grave. Zach and Kendall went to her condo, where Erica and Bianca met her with Miranda.

Ryan went to see Annie, and pulled her aside to ask: "Will you marry me?" In Babe's room, Josh offered her a solution: "You could stay dead." Meanwhile, JR overheard Krystal tell Little A they're going "to see your Momma."

Zach grabbed the syringe trigger and wrestled with Alexander, who pulled out a gun. As they tangled, the gun — as guns always do in this situation — went off. Who was shot? Wait until after the opening credits.... Nobody was shot yet. Zach wrested away the trigger, but Alexander got the gun, so he shot Zach in shoulder, shouting, "Learn your damn lesson!" Zach kept his grip on the deadman's switch. Zach said he understands Alexander killed those women because of him; if he had followed in his father's footsteps they would have lived. "Isn't that punishment enough?" Zach asked. Alexander insisted he was devastated when Alexander Jr. "died," but Zach insisted his father never loved him. Meanwhile, JR, Jamie and Aidan followed the blueprint clues to "Red Rocks Canyon." At the same time, Tad and Ryan reached the same conclusion, so everyone headed for the canyon. Back on the balcony, Kendall was still content to sit there with the deadly syringe affixed to her neck, despite the fact that her hands were bound in front of her. Alexander gloated that after Zach and Kendall are dead, he will seize Spike and "raise him as my own." Alexander ordered Zach to kneel as he prepared to shoot Kendall. Zach pulled a knife from an ankle scabbard and threw it, knocking the gun from Alexander's hand. Zach leaped to his feet, kicked the gun away, and freed Kendall from the Death Contraption. Then he turned his attention back to Alexander, this time grappling him into the suite, forcing Alexander onto the couch, then into a chair before vowing, "Now I'm gonna kill you." Suddenly, Tad and Ryan appeared and dragged Zach off his father. Ryan went to check on Kendall, who told him Alexander threatened Spike. Ryan vowed to kill him if he even mentions Spike's name. Then demanded to know why he killed Erin. "You failed me," Alexander spat. Meanwhile, Tad talked down an animalistic, growling Zach: "If you kill him he'll haunt you forever. Don't let him take your soul," Tad counseled. "He lost, you won. Let that be enough." JR asked Alexander if Babe pleaded for her life, then vowed Alexander would beg to die.

As Krystal revived, she mumbled about Babe being alive. Meanwhile, Erica brought Babe flowers, and she revealed Josh told her everything. Erica suggested calling the "bereft" JR to reveal she's alive, but Babe insisted only her mother can know. Josh sent Adam out of the room and told Krystal to keep Babe's secret. When Adam returned, Krystal covered, then slipped out with Josh for a tearful reunion. Erica told Josh she's trying to accept Babe. Back at the Chandler mansion, Adam discussed his grief with twin brother Stuart (where has he been?). Krystal suggested JR loves her, but Babe noted he doesn't trust her, so "It's really finally over." Josh overheard Babe talking with Krystal about her baby being Tad's.

Annie, Julia and Di talked about men. Di said she won't tell Aidan she loves him because she doesn't want things to get "weird." Julia admitted she doesn't foresee marrying Jamie. Annie insisted she has to "ignore" Ryan (who's totally perfect) because he may be using Annie just to get close to Emma, and Emma could be hurt if it doesn't work. The girls urged Annie to go for it anyway.

Colby confronted Sean about being his errand girl, and was surprised when his mother, Barbara, introduced herself. Colby wondered if his mother's presence was the reason he's "so messed up."

Back in Las Vegas, Zach promised the defeated Alexander that he and Kendall will be happy for the rest of their lives.
