AMC Recaps Week of June 18, 2007

The reality TV cameras nabbed Jack and Erica smooching in her office. As the
cameras rolled, Erica insisted that the kiss meant only that Jack was having
a tough time "accepting the inevitable." Jack lost his temper and punched
the pushy interviewer. Once Jack and Erica were alone again, she denied to
Jack that she had anything to do with the cameras' arrival. He also accused
her of wanting him to ask her to come back to him as the grand finale of
sweeps. Jack told Erica that if she wanted him back, she had to come home
that night.
At The Comeback, Jamie and Babe crammed for her GED test while Tad and Milla
got to know each other better. Milla invited Tad back to her place but he
turned her down. Jamie and Babe went to the boathouse to study and
reminisced about the night they met on the beach (and had sex for the first
time). The conversation began to get sticky so they went back to reviewing
for her exam.... Tad got Krystal to admit that she still loves Ada, but she
refused to discuss the matter further. Krystal advised Tad to say yes the
next time an attractive, available woman hit on him.
Adam vented to Zach about the fact that the private eye he'd hired to tail
the thug who left the ransom note had lost sight of his target. Meanwhile,
JR continued to reassure a panicked Amanda that they would come out of the
kidnapping-gone-wrong just fine. Before long, Adam arrived with Zach. Adam
threw his arms around his son and they commenced an emotional reunion. JR
tried to contain his panic when Adam spoke of the ransom and assured his dad
that they'd get the money back. "How can you be so sure, Junior?" piped up
Zach, earning him a glare from JR. Back at the mansion, Zach gloated to JR
that Adam's fortune and possessions would soon be his.
Jonathan stopped by Ava's room and she thanked him for being so nice to her.
While he wrapped her chilly body in a blanket, Di showed up with Lily.
Things got awkward when Ava brought up that Jon and Lily had sent their
wedding stuff down the river. Jon became emotional and left. Ava sang
Jonathan's praises to Lily, proposing that she reunite with her ex. Lily was
unmoved. Di, who'd picked up on Ava's interest in Jon, confronted the girl
about her crush. Jon returned and he and Ava swapped apologies for what had
happened earlier. Di left shortly after Jon, but not before pointing out to
Ava that Jon seemed to like her, too.
At home in bed, Jack was restless. Erica, meanwhile, summoned Tad to the
yacht club.

Erica tried to keep her cool when Pam broke the news of Jack and Milla's
impending second date. She made a call to a mystery man.... As the cameras
rolled, Jack and Milla enjoyed each other's company at The Comeback. Then
Erica and Tad arrived looking rather cozy. When Jack all but ignored her,
Erica engaged in a flirty game of pool with Tad. Jack lost his temper and
told Erica to stop playing games. Back at the NEW BEGINNINGS office, they
argued and Jack turned to leave — but decided against it and drew Erica into
a major kiss.
At the condo, Greenlee and Kendall got to work on creating a new fragrance
for Fusion Green. Finally, after weathering a moment of discomfort around
the issue of Kendall's pregnancy, they concocted a scent that they liked.
Ryan and Annie tried to enjoy their honeymoon, but Annie was distracted by
their troubles back at home. Ryan convinced her to get her mind off her
worries with a skinny-dipping session. After the newlyweds enjoyed some, um,
intimate time, they relaxed in their suite with the kids.
Ava enjoyed her new digs at Wildwind. Jonathan came by with a welcome gift
and after some initial snippiness, they enjoyed hanging out together (and
she especially enjoyed it when he took her hands in his). Later, Jon watched
Ava sleep.
Sean came to the condo to see Colby and pulled her into a passionate kiss. He
asked Colby to attend a concert with him that night (the night before his
court date); she agreed. Later, at the boathouse, they slow-danced and
smooched.

Babe showed up at Wildwind in a panic; her GED test was scheduled for the
next day. Jamie assured her that he'd help her study and explained that he
was moving out because he and Julia were in different places in their lives.
At The Comeback, Krystal prepped for the private party she was hosting that
night. Adam skulked around outside and took a call from the kidnappers, who
ordered him to go inside, where Krystal snapped at him for being so brusque
to her earlier. Krystal was thrilled when she received her liquor license
(with help from Jamie). Tad came by with Jenny; Adam glared. When Adam got a
note from the kidnappers, he tried not to betray his concern. "My son's
coming home," he told himself.... Jamie confirmed to Tad that he and Julia
had split. Tad questioned Jamie about what's going on with him and Babe;
Jamie insisted that nothing is going on. Tad then took Jenny to Dixie's
grave.... Babe tried to talk Jamie into moving into Kendall's condo, but he
decided to stay at the Yacht Club for a while.
JR panicked when he couldn't reach his employees/fake kidnappers. Amanda
wanted him to summon help but JR didn't want to blow the $100 million dollar
deal. JR apologized to Amanda for their shoddy predicament. She admitted
that even though she was cold and wet, his plan had been somewhat decent.
They fell into each other's arms.
A teary-eyed Greenlee visited Simone's grave, where she was approached by
Kendall. Greens shared with Kendall the note Simone had written to her
before her death. Simone's ghost appeared and recited the letter, in which
Simone urged Greenlee to come home. When Greens claimed there was no love
available to her in Pine Valley, Kendall took offense and stormed off,
returning briefly to tell Greens that she was supposed to follow her. Back
at the condo, Kendall jogged Greenlee's memory about the good times they'd
shared in the early days of Fusion and beseeched her to stay and help the
company thrive again.
Ava woke up in the boathouse; Di and Jonathan found her there and learned
that she'd been kicked out of the Montgomery house. Jon praised Ava for
trying to protect Lily, who had a hard time taking the compliment. After Jon
and Ava shared a close moment, Di told Ava that she should move into
Wildwind. They arrived at the estate and Ava made herself right at home; Jon
looked a little wary.

Ava denied everything when Sean and Jack accused her of having something to
do with Sean's arrest. Meanwhile, Lily had a breakdown when the drug dealer
accosted her at the boathouse (he thought she was Ava). Jonathan arrived and
ordered him to take his hands off Lily (who he referred to as "my wife").
After the thug bolted, Jonathan and Lily took the box of mementoes from their
wedding and put it in the water. Together, they watched their memories float
down the lake. Lily then returned home with Jon and reported to Jack what
had happened at the lakehouse, effectively incriminating Ava. Jack told Ava
to leave the house; Ava said she would break the news to Lily herself. Ava
then told Lily that she got a new job that required her to move. Lily was
upset.... With nowhere else to go, Ava hunkered down to spend the night in
the boathouse.
At The Comeback, Stuart told Krystal that Adam misses her and urged her to
reach out to her estranged husband. Krystal agreed to do it as a favor to
Stuart. At the Chandler mansion, Zach agreed to loan Adam the $150 million
for JR's ransom, but made Adam sign over his fortune as collateral. Krystal
arrived and asked if Adam was okay; Zach hid on the patio, where Stuart
found him. Krystal beseeched Adam to open up to her, but so as not to
jeopardize JR's safe return, he sent her away. After she left, Adam fought
back tears. Zach told Adam he'd have his money by 11 the next morning....
Stuart thanked Krystal for trying to get through to Adam.... When the
"kidnappers" called, Adam told them they'd have their money in the morning.
Amanda blasted JR for staging his own kidnapping. JR swore to her that the
situation would be a win-win for both of them; she wasn't impressed and
railed at JR for using her. Amanda threatened to tell Adam about JR's ploy
and said that if she kept his secret, she wanted a piece of the pie in
return. Their negotiations were a turn-on to JR and they got horizontal.
Amanda concluded that she must be a bad girl, after all.... JR became
concerned when he called his employee/faux kidnapper and the number was
disconnected. He had every reason to be worried, for as it turned out, the
guy had a new boss: Zach, who looked forward to taking the Chandlers for all
they were worth.

In a weird tense moment, Greenlee thanked Kendall for letting her hold baby Spike, then gave the kid back and ran out in tears. Zach chastised Kendall and Ryan for allowing that to happen. When Kendall suggested running after Greens, Zach bellowed, "No, this is Ryan's fault. Not yours." Kendall had a flashback to Greenlee's miscarriage and acknowledged that it was a mistake to have Greenlee's reunion with Spike in front of a crowd. The women should have done it alone, she noted. Zach countered that they shouldn't have done it at all.
Still unable to take their honeymoon due to the women in Ryan's life and
their accompanying baggage, Annie told Ryan she was resentful. "I understand that Kendall is the mother of your child but now Greenlee?" He said she doesn't owe Greenlee but he does. That was not the answer Annie wanted to hear. Later, Annie conceded and prepared for their crowded honeymoon while Greens sat by herself and cried alone.
In the dungeon, new prisoner Amanda told JR that she knows how to break out of their captivity. JR vowed not to jeopardize Amanda's life with a risky
escape plan. Amanda faked an illness when a guard came downstairs. She
overpowered him, but JR refused to flee. The guard recovered, knocked them down then ran back upstairs and locked the door. "What is wrong with you?" Amanda demanded of JR. The captives argued. "I swear to God you like being a hostage!" she shouted. JR explained that his kidnappers were Bob and Vince — his employees! Amanda was stunned that JR was behind his own kidnapping and
slapped his face.
Lily walked in on Sean with Colby, who was giving herself a pedicure. Lily
was frantic that the nail polish was about to spill. Colby was upset about
ruining her pedi by having to answer the doorbell. It was Jonathan to see
Lily. Outside, Jonathan returned Lily's wedding dress and accessories, but she didn't want them. A tearful Jonathan honored her request and kept them. Inside, Sean suggested that he and Colby get some happy pills, stating he missed her. "How stupid do you think I am?" Colby replied. She vowed that she was not the one who set Sean up for the drug bust. He stormed out. After the guys split, the girls got together and Lily explained that she gave the wedding stuff back because she didn't want to remember that day anymore.
Jamie and the gang at Wildwind were concerned about the missing Amanda. Di felt bad that she didn't notice Amanda was missing until now. Del then played the (bogus) message from his cell phone explaining that Amanda took off to go sailing with a friend. The gang believed it. Then, Jamie and Julia talked about the pregnancy scare. She was upset that he wasn't happy about the possibility of being a dad. He said he wanted a family with her someday but she replied that someday wasn't good enough. Julia explained how important family is to her. Julia then said she was leaving Pine Valley
tomorrow. Jamie said he thought he could really make Julia happy. "You did," she replied before leaving the room.
Sean went to Jack and said he knows who planted the ecstasy in his pocket.
"It was Ava," he deduced. He explained that Ava was alone with his tux while
getting ready for the prom. He called it her payback for choosing Colby over
her. Jack called Ava downstairs and demanded a response to the accusation.
At the boathouse, Lily recalled her romance with Jonathan, until she was
interrupted by the drug dealer who thought she was Ava and demanded his money. The dealer didn't buy "the act," and physically threatened Lily.
