A devastated David pulled a handgun out of his bag and sat down. Krystal entered, pleading, "Don't do it." David said Babe was the only goodness in his life. He lamented that now he'll never be able to be a part of Babe's life. David blamed Krystal for all those lost years. When she recounted how he alienated their daughter because of his vendetta against JR, David erupted. He grabbed Krystal, just as Tad entered. Tad asked David why he couldn't stay away. Krystal said David needed to be alone and she left with Tad. Krystal's words echoed in his head. "No!" David screamed.

Colby and Adam insisted on accompanying JR to the cemetery. Adam suggested JR move back home so they could be a family together. JR wanted nothing from Adam and blamed his father for the actions that put his late wife in harm's way. "I'm not the monster you think I am," Adam assured but JR wasn't buying.

At PVH, a nurse told Zach there was no change with Kendall's condition. Zach left her with photos of the boys.

Bianca happily accepted Reese's marriage proposal. Reese said she wanted to do it in Pine Valley. When Bianca pointed out gay marriage isn't legal in PA, she suggested they have two weddings, then she pulled Bianca into a sexy embrace. Reese wanted to do it with all PA favorites: cheese steaks, soft pretzels and the Phillie fanatic. Reese pulled Bianca into a dance, until the baby started crying. As Bianca responded, Zach showed up and Reese shared their good news. Zach blamed himself for Kendall being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Reese assured him that Kendall would wake up and everything would be fine. Just then, Bianca walked in with the baby. Bianca gave Zach the baby to hold and asked him to be "Uncle Zach" to their child and that her name was Gabrielle Amelia (with Amelia chosen to honor Zach's mother).

Ryan and Annie went in search of their daughter's kidnapper and ended up trapped in the abandoned State Theater. Ryan was furious the kidnapper took their money but didn't return the child. Ryan was beyond frustrated and wondered how the kidnapper always stayed one step ahead of them. Just then a shadowy figure appeared with a voice scrambler and said, "Don't turn around." The kidnapper said only Annie can see Emma and made Ryan stand with his hands behind his head. When Ryan made a move, the kidnapper fired shots at Ryan, then locked him back in the theater.

Greenlee had Jesse put out an A.P.B. on Ryan. Jesse was furious that his friend wasn't upfront with him from the start. Jesse then got a call about a report of gunfire. Jesse and the cops burst into the theater with Greenlee. Ryan told them what happened. Ryan was petrified that the kidnapper might go after Greenlee. Just then, Annie called and said Emma's alive, then the line went dead.

Natalia's mother, Rebecca collapsed at PVH and Angie ordered tests. Meanwhile, Frankie explained Jesse's past to his girl and was angry that his father chose Natalia over him. Frankie had no interest in claiming another sister. Angie showed up with the results from Rebecca's MRI. The news was not good. Angie and Frankie informed Nat that Rebecca had an inoperable brain tumor. Natalia broke down in tears and Angie hugged her.

At the cemetery, Tad asked Krystal to tell him what happened with David. She felt sorry for him. Krystal was surprised to see Adam arrive with JR and Colby. As snow fell, they each privately said good-bye to Babe. Everyone was surprised when David showed up. "I come in peace," he stated. David acknowledged that Krystal was right and allowed him to speak his mind. David assured he's no danger to anyone. David vowed that he has changed and he plans to stick around and make Babe proud of him.
