Colby caught Erica snooping in Liza's room. Erica admitted that she was looking for a way to discredit Liza, whom she believes to have killed Stuart. Colby was stunned to come across a packet of letters from Liza to her, which had been unopened. She pocketed them, brought them home and read them. She learned that Adam had kept the letters from her. Pete joined her and Colby marveled at how Liza really did care about her, after all. She felt terrible about how she'd treated Liza because of Adam's manipulations. Pete noticed that there was blood on one of the envelopes. Thinking it could be Stuart's, Pete raced off to test the blood.

Ryan made the case to Zach and Kendall that they should marry to prevent Zach from having to testify against her. They agreed and Ryan said he was okay with it. Ryan assured Zach that he believes he, too, is innocent. Erica went to the hospital and got the news about the wedding from Ryan and rushed to see Kendall, subtly questioning Kendall's true commitment to Ryan. The justice of the peace arrived and, with a nurse standing by as a witness, Zach and Kendall exchanged quickie vows. Zach supplied the rings. Despite herself, Kendall got emotional. Post-nups, Zach found Kendall crying as she remembered her wedding to Zach on the boat and her efforts to wed Ryan the day he ended up marrying Greenlee. She told Zach that she was thinking about Ryan.

Ryan went home to collect Emma from baby-sitter Opal. Opal showed Ryan a drawing that Emma had done of a woman firing a gun. Ryan gently questioned her about it but Emma told her that Annie had told her not to tell. Ryan went to see Annie at the police station. He showed Annie the drawing of her holding a gun at the Chandler mansion. "Who were you pointing a gun at?" he demanded to know. "Okay," said Annie. "I'll tell you."

Jake gave Liza documents to help her support her pregnancy ruse and to help protect her from David. Jake showed Liza an ultrasound picture of Colby, which they were passing off as the baby she's "carrying." Amanda entered and cooed over the image. After Liza left, Amanda chirped to Jake that she likes Liza. Jake told her that in a few weeks, he was taking her to Barbados to have the baby by C-section. He added that he had a doctor who would fudge the death certificate for David's benefit and that the baby would safely go to adoptive parents. Amanda was stressed out about the plan; Jake kissed her to take her mind off of it.

Liza came to see Colby. She was happy to know that Colby had finally received her letters. Colby apologized for her role in their rift. An emotional Liza told Colby that she had never stopped loving her. They embraced. Then Colby realized that Liza had come to the house the night of the murders to get the letters. Pete called to report that Stuart's blood was on the letters. She confronted Liza and accused her of shooting Stuart. Erica entered and told Liza to get away from Colby.

Scott clocked David and accused him of killing Stuart. Krystal said that she thought Scott might be right. David summoned the cops. Jesse asked if they had any evidence. Krystal said that nobody had wanted David dead more than David. David offered his hands up for handcuffing. "She needs to believe I killed Stuart so that she can go running back to her ex-husband," claimed David, who denied killing Stuart. He tried to throw everyone out but Scott protected that David is guilty. Jesse dragged Scott out and asked him to let Jesse do the justice-seeking. Back inside Wildwind, David admitted to Krystal that he had every intention of blowing Adam's brains out on that fateful night. He said that he had changed his mind because of Little A and Marissa and his unborn baby, in particular.
