Erica went to see Greg (whom she remembered from a television appearance he made) at his fertility clinic with a proposition. She wanted him to work with her on a project for her show. They would find someone in need of having a child, and he could make their dreams come true. Greg was reluctant, so she said she'd walk around and give him some time to think.

Simone and Greenlee were chatting about how to steal Ryan's "Papa popsicles," when Ryan walked up. They talked their way out of it and Ryan left them alone. Greenlee revealed her master plan to Simone when she put on a miniskirt, black wig, and glasses: She was going to pretend to be Simone Torres and be artificially inseminated. "It's like looking in the mirror, isn't it?" Greens laughed. "God, I hope not." Simone groaned. Greenlee headed to the clinic and put on a top-notch performance as "Desperately seeking a baby Simone", giving every detail of the donor she wanted, down to the haircut. The plan blew up when Erica, who was touring the clinic, spotted her. "Who are you supposed to be?!" she demanded. Meanwhile at Fusion, Ryan was looking for Greenlee again and Simone informed him she knew about the mystery blonde.

Kendall gave Zach his gaming license back and he told her he could thank her with a kiss. Nah, she'd prefer a new sports car. Zach could tell something was wrong with her and assured her that "being alone will get easier." She wasn't alone for long because Ryan came by. Kendall was astonished when he said Greenlee forgave him for the vasectomy. "You actually believed her?" The two argued (déjà vu anyone?) and Ryan stormed off. Kendall's new hubby came back over and the two made a deal to try and have some fun.

Maria questioned Sam again about why he didn't want to go to California. He explained wanted to get to know his biological family. "It's not that I don't love you, but I have a lot of stuff to figure out." He promised her it didn't have to be forever and the two embraced.

JR brought Di home from the hospital. They went up to the nursery where she was ready to explain her past with Tad. "Whatever the two of you had doesn't involve me," JR said. Um, she wasn't so sure of that. She tried and tried to tell him something, but he didn't let her get anything out. Alone with the baby, Di tearfully sang "You are My Sunshine" to Little Adam. Stuart walked in and started singing with her. They talked about how much pain the family was in and Stuart said the only thing that could bring the family back together would be a miracle — Dixie.

It is miracle time. Downstairs, Tad told Adam that the nanny was actually Dixie. JR overheard told Tad to shut up, Dixie was dead. No son, Diana's fingerprints match Dixie's perfectly, he explained. JR still had doubts and demanded Tad stop his sick game right now. "Get out of my life... and stop using my mother against me," he ordered, just as Di walked in the room and announced: "I am Dixie."

Maddie and Sam showed up at the Pine Cone, where Maddie was feigning being attacked by Zach. Maria ordered Maddie to cut the act. The hotel manager stopped in but Maria stopped him from calling the cops and sent him away. Sam, however, continued to lash out at Zach. "You have gone way too far," said Maria to Maddie, deducing that Maddie's pal Ashby had helped her frame Zach. Maddie blurted out that she'd promised Edmund she'd make Zach pay. Maria then came to a realization: She and her kids needed to get out of Pine Valley as soon as possible. Maddie and Sam weren't thrilled about the idea of moving to California, but Maria assured them she would never speak to or see Zach again. With one last, meaningful glance back at Zach, Maria ushered her kids out of the motel room. Later, Zach mourned for Maria alone in his house.

Erica came home and confessed to Jack that she'd gone to see Kendall. Jack offered an apology of his own, as he broke his "we won't interfere in our kids' lives" vow as well by visiting Ryan. Jack was dubious when Erica informed him that JR really cares about Kendall, and as he reeled from the news that Kendall had tied the knot with Zach, Reggie and Danielle burst in mid-makeout session, unaware that his parents were there. Moments later, Lily burst in and offered to go to her room (while Reggie went to his) so Jack and Erica could have sex. Jack advised Lily not to discuss such things in public. Jack and Erica then ordered Reggie to take Dani straight home. Alone again, Jack and Erica decided to keep the honeymoon activities going...

Ryan and Greenlee sat down to a romantic dinner. He tried to drum up her excitement about his new business venture, which she didn't find to be a suitable substitute for a child. He assured her that if she could get past his vasectomy, he would make her happy forever. Greenlee sighed that she didn't want a life without him, as much as he hated what he did to himself. He then presented her with a gift: a good luck charm. Greenlee dissolved into a fantasy about having a baby with Ryan, then Ryan had one of his own in which Greenlee exulted about the freedom their baby-free life afforded them. Greenlee's next fantasy featured her fantasy child in a tux and Ryan thanking her for giving them a son. In real life, Ryan then carried Greenlee off to bed.

An irritable Kendall was greeted by JR at her condo; he pulled her into a kiss. Kendall wasn't interested and resisted his efforts to sweet-talk her into a reconciliation, calling him out on trying to make inroads with Ethan before turning to her. He denied it. "Liar," she shot back. JR helped himself to a seat and claimed to know Kendall's secret: that she has no friends outside of him. "I'm here for you," he offered. Kendall told him to back off, especially about Zach and Ethan. When JR told Kendall he wanted her, she succumbed to his seduction.

Aidan was at the roadside bar gazing at the pictures he'd taken of Amanda. Babe spotted him and was surprised to discover that Aidan knows Amanda. When she described Amanda as sweet, Aidan raised an eyebrow. "Amanda's very good at making friends," he hedged. Babe checked out the racy pics he'd taken of her pal and told Aidan that she and Jamie were very concerned about Amanda. She then asked Aidan about whether he and Tad were close to finding out if Dixie is alive. He explained that the info was confidential and questioned Babe about her affiliation with Amanda. Babe spoke highly of her friend. Aidan left, leaving Babe with a generous tip and Amanda's camera.

Amanda continued to come on to Jamie at the beach. "Put on the brakes," he commanded. She ignored him and pulled him onto the sand. He broke away and insisted she keep herself covered up. When she described herself as insanely thirsty, he began to suspect that JR had drugged her. Jamie scooped Amanda up to bring her to the hospital; she begged him not to, since if Trevor found out she'd been drugged, he'd make her come home. He relented and agreed just to hang out with Amanda for a while. Jamie encouraged Amanda to open up to him about what was troubling her. "Nobody gives a damn about me," she sighed, weaving a sob story about how her family neglected her. Jamie assured Amanda that he cared about her then said he was taking her someplace safe.

A testy Babe got snappy with Jamie about the state of their apartment; he wondered why she was so hostile. Babe made it clear that her 'tude was due to Tad's recent absence from Krystal's life. They discussed the possibility that Dixie is alive and agreed that it seemed unlikely that if she is, she would have stayed away from Pine Valley and JR. Jamie pointed out that even if Dixie isn't alive, Tad and Krystal's future is very much in question since she's confined to jail for the next just-shy-of-10 years. Jamie admitted that he hopes Tad finds Dixie. Babe conceded that Dixie's potential resurrection is a major deal, but still worried about its impact on her mama. Babe accused Jamie of disliking Krystal, leading to a tiff that sent Babe storming out of the apartment.

With Aidan's help, Tad sifted through Dixie's belongings in the hopes of finding her fingerprint and comparing it to Di's. Tad expressed to Aidan that if Dixie is alive, he'll never be able to understand why she didn't come forward and reveal herself to him and JR. The men strolled down memory lane as they stumbled onto items of sentimental value to Dixie and Tad. Finally, Tad found a snow globe that contained a perfect print; Aidan whisked it off to test it against Di's. Babe then walked in and confronted Tad about his feelings for Krystal. Babe disclosed that she'd slipped to Krystal that Dixie might be alive. Babe asked what Krystal could expect if Dixie returned. He vowed that he would always care about Krystal, but Babe noticed he didn't say love and got pissed. After she left, Aidan came back in and they ran the fingerprint comparison. It proved a match. "It's Dixie!" gasped Tad.

Erica stormed into Wildwind and lashed out at Maria over Zach's marriage to Kendall, begging Maria to go to Zach and declare her love. Erica declared that Maria would be risking her entire future if she didn't go after Slater. "Too much has happened," protested Maria. "Nonsense!" scoffed La Kane, advising Maria not to give up on the man she loves. Maria insisted that her kids have to be her top priority right now. Erica compared Maria's situation with her kids to Bianca's initial reaction to her own romance with Jack, but Maria didn't take the bait. She icily showed Erica the door after informing La Kane that she would never consider her a role model.

Zach evaded Kendall's questions about why he was remaining married to her. "You talk too much," he grimaced. She asked him directly if his motive was avoiding Maria; he instructed her not to bring up Maria's name. Kendall found it hard to believe Zach when he insisted that he doesn't dream of Maria. Zach admitted that she still matters to him — that she's the only thing that does. When he grew anxious, Kendall agreed to sign the casino papers the next day. Zach then received a page from "M.," whom he assumed was Maria, requesting a meeting at the Pine Cone. But when he showed up, Maria wasn't there. Who was? Maddie, who had set him up. After ripping open her blouse, Maddie began screaming for help to make it appear as though Zach had attacked her.

JR chastised Amanda for hitting on Aidan. "Lighten up," she replied. After Amanda outlined her plan to JR, he took off and she placed a call to Jamie, fibbing that JR had menaced her down on the beach. Jamie was off and running to her rescue, just as Amanda intended. When Jamie showed up, Amanda was spinning around, acting high to convince Jamie that JR drugged her. When she threw herself at Jamie and revealed her naked body, he pulled her robe over her. She then pulled him into a kiss.

JR came across Erica in the courtyard of Kendall's condo and filled her in about the quandary he's in regarding Chandler Enterprises now that Zach has dropped his suit against Ethan. Erica was impressed when JR spoke sweetly about Kendall, so she asked JR to help her help Kendall by breaking up Zach and Kendall. In exchange, Erica volunteered to work on Bianca to get Chandler back into JR's hands.

Lily, in need of boyfriend advice, turned to Kendall when she couldn't find Erica. The two agreed that they both miss Bianca something awful and decided to spend more time nurturing their sisterly relationship.

Sam was offended when he saw Maria trying to hack into Maddie's e-mail account, but agreed to break into it himself just to make sure his sister was safe. When her e-mail log popped up, he summoned Maria over. "Oh, no!" groaned Maria.

JR paid a visit to Ethan at his office and offered him scotch and cigars "as a peace offering." Ethan was dubious. JR wanted to discuss Kendall, but Ethan said she no longer mattered. JR suggested they team up; Ethan smiled that he wouldn't make the mistake of trusting JR again, then called JR out on the real reason he was there: to stop Ethan from destroying Chandler Enterprises. JR admitted it. JR then asked if Ethan minded if JR were to take another shot at Kendall. "I'm glad to be rid of her," insisted Ethan. JR scoffed that Ethan needs his help, whether he realizes it or not, in defending himself against Zach and Kendall. When Ethan gloated about Chandler Enterprises's most recent dive in the stock market, JR blustered that he would get the company back before Ethan decimated it. "How exactly do you plan to do that?" wondered Ethan, enjoying JR's discomfort. JR offered to feed info to Ethan about Zach and Kendall in exchange for Ethan protecting Chandler's future. Ethan said that if the info proved valuable enough, he'd consider going easy on JR's company. JR left, but not before handing over to Ethan contact info for two available and tantalizing twins, Candy and Brandy.

Erica reeled from the news that Kendall married Zach. Kendall begged Erica to save the "you've made a mistake" speech. Erica grabbed Kendall into a tight embrace. "Hugs for everybody, come on," wheedled Zach with arms outstretched. Erica ignored him. He left to give Erica and Kendall the chance to chat. Kendall tried to assure Erica that everything would be fine, but La Kane wasn't digging Kendall's explanation that marrying someone she doesn't love is a perfect guard against further hurt. "The walls you are building will only hurt you," sighed Erica. But Kendall wouldn't be moved, insisting she knew what she was doing. Zach returned just as Erica was saying that she just wants Kendall to be happy. Zach volunteered to give Erica a private audience to unleash whatever fury she had to unleash. After Kendall left, Erica smacked Zach. Then smacked him again. And again. Erica went off on Zach for his selfishness but Zach wasn't in a hurry to reveal his reasons for remaining married to Kendall. Erica pointed out that she wasn't going to sit back and let Zach destroy her daughter. When La Kane brought up Maria, Zach became testy. With one last threat, Erica turned on her heel, leaving Zach alone.

Aidan broke away from Amanda's forced make-out session and explained to the sultry bikini-wearer how he knew she was faking her drowning from the start. Amanda noted that Aidan, whose name she still didn't know, was neither married nor gay, so she wondered why he wouldn't offer up his moniker. Finally, he revealed it, but excused himself to continue with his jog. Before he could leave, Amanda cut her foot, forcing Aidan to retrieve his first aid kit from his car. Amanda continued to grill Aidan about why he wasn't biting on her pick-up lines. He replied that he didn't need any more complications in his life, even a tempting one like her, then finally left. Amanda then ran straight into JR, who spit that she was a "double-dealing bitch."

Simone tried to understand why Greenlee wants her to help her steal Ryan's sperm. When she heard about Ryan's vasectomy, she was outraged — but not altogether surprised, considering what she'd uncovered when she secretly trailed him during Greenlee's trip to Florida. Simone gently suggested that Greenlee shouldn't be in such a rush to get pregnant, but Greenlee was adamant. So Simone consented to brainstorming with Greenlee about how best to break into the clinic. Kendall walked in and demanded to know what brewing scheme she was interrupting. Simone beat a hasty exit. Kendall apologized for remaining mum about Ryan's procedure; Greenlee was frosty in return and stalked out.

Ryan told Jack that although he and Greenlee were going to remain married, he'd taken steps to ensure that the union would work. When the mysterious hostess showed up to hand a key to Ryan, Jack flipped out, assuming that Ryan was cheating. Their ensuing argument grew heated, but Jack regained his composure. Ryan noted that what Jack had just done, by getting his anger in check, is precisely what he fears he himself cannot do. He then filled in Jack about the vasectomy and promised that he needn't fear for Greenlee's safety. Just then, Greenlee returned and railed at Jack for interfering in her marriage. Jack insisted he was only there to make things right. After Jack left, Ryan and Greenlee prepared to sit down to a romantic dinner. She found the key the hostess left behind, but he made up an excuse about what it was. Greens then reported to Ryan that she and Simone were working on a surprise for him.

Kendall rejoined Zach on the Fusion rooftop. Kendall reminded Zach that Erica won't stop hounding him anytime soon, but Zach wasn't concerned. Kendall told Zach that she understood her reasons for staying married to him, but his motives for sticking with her were unclear to her.

Simone arrived at Ethan's office with an unusual gift: bowling shoes. When she promised she'd show him a good time on the lanes, he agreed to accompany her.

Babe pumped Jamie for details about his visit with Amanda and Little Adam; he was evasive, then demanded to know if Babe is truly happy with him. She insisted that she was. A pensive Jamie promised Babe that he would one day deliver to her the life she's always dreamed of and suggested they get married right away. This led to another conversation about whether he was wise to give up Phoebe's money by sticking with her.

At the beach, a sultry, barely-dressed Amanda flirted shamelessly with Aidan and asked him to snap pictures of her to send to her mom, whom she claimed was in the hospital. He obliged, seeming not to mind the view one bit, but declined her offer to join her for a soda and jogged away. So Amanda made a desperate move: feigning drowning so that Aidan would come to her rescue. The ploy worked and Aidan dragged Amanda back to shore. When he administered mouth-to-mouth, she pulled him into an actual kiss.

When Jack and Erica ran into Greg Madden, the man from Charleston, in Pine Valley, a suspicious Jack accosted him. Jack apologized after learning that Greg lives and works in Pine Valley. Greg accepted the mea culpa and proferred his congrats to the newlyweds before taking his leave, but Erica continued to feel like she knew Greg from somewhere. Jack then gifted Erica with a new cell phone, since he destroyed her old one on their honeymoon. La Kane then excused herself to work on her new show at the TV studio. Jack then went to visit Ryan and Greenlee, but only Ryan was home. Moments into their visit, Ryan lost his temper with his father-in-law.

JR walked up behind Kendall and pulled her a steamy kiss, but she burst his bubble when she revealed that even though she married Zach, she can't help him regain control of Chandler Enterprises because her hubby dropped his legal bid for Cambias. "We had a deal," he grumbled. Kendall explained that her hands were tied, as the decision was Zach's to make. JR was devastated, knowing that Ethan intends to run Chandler into the ground, but Kendall swore she was through with the revenge game and couldn't help him. JR started tearing into her; she demanded that he back off. Zach then arrived but wouldn't succumb to JR's wheedling about why he should reconsider the dropped lawsuit. Before leaving, JR warned the couple that he will one day blow Ethan away. Once alone with Zach, Kendall railed at him for coming to her rescue. Erica overheard the end of her diatribe and misconstrued it as Kendall giving Zach a permanent kiss-off. "Hallelujah!" she applauded. "You didn't bring a gift, did you?" Zach smirked. Erica paled. "It's true, Mother," Kendall said as she confirmed that she'd wed Zach.

Maria and Ryan had a confab about his vasectomy and her run-in with Greenlee. Ryan said that after chatting with Maria, Greenlee seems to believe that they can have a happy life together without kids. Maria asked if Ryan had the procedure because of what Jonathan did to Edmund; he replied that all Jonathan's actions did was show him what being a Lavery is all about, thus making him see he can't risk becoming a father. Maria gave Ryan props for being so proactive about his problem, even though it was animated by what she termed "fuzzy science." He was grateful for Maria's support and asked how things were going with her. She said that she was focusing on her kids and that Zach and Kendall's marriage was nothing but comic relief to her.

Greenlee tried to sweet-talk the nurse at the fertility clinic into allowing her to withdraw a sample of Ryan's sperm. When that failed, she tried to bribe her. The nurse, Hazel, was having none of it and asked Greenlee to leave. She refused, so Hazel called in some back-up. Just then, Greg walked in and demanded to know what was going on. "Who are you, the procreation police?" scoffed Greenlee. Greg explained that this is his clinic and invited her into his office. There, he insisted to Greenlee that there was no way he could allow Greenlee to help herself to Ryan's sample. She begged him to help her find a loophole in the contract Ryan signed when he became a donor. Greenlee filled in Greg about how marriage to Ryan changed her and why she so badly wants to have kids. Greg was intrigued when Greens revealed that Erica is her stepmother, but reminded her that without Ryan's consent, his hands were tied. Greenlee then stormed out and made a beeline for Simone. "I need you to help me steal something," Greenlee explained. "My husband's sperm."
