Krystal and Adam dragged an unconscious David back to his cabin, where Krystal intended to drug him and get the truth about Dixie out of him. Krystal implored Adam to take a taste test of the truth serum; he refused, so she just started randomly mixing his vials. The concoction started to bubble over. They were about to bolt when David came to. Hayward chortled at Krystal and Adam's failed attempt to find out the dirt he has on Dixie and told them to give up trying — he wouldn't reveal it until he was good and ready.

Kendall and Greenlee reviewed the critical dates in their get-Kendall-pregnant-with-Greenlee's-baby-plan. Greenlee expressed again to Kendall how grateful she was to her for volunteering to serve as a surrogate. Simone entered and asked what was going on. Although Greenlee felt bad about keeping a secret from Simone, Kendall talked her into keeping her mouth shut until Kendall is actually pregnant.

Erin was furious when she caught Ryan rifling through her home. He revealed to his sis the antipsychotic pills that had been delivered to her cabin and asked what they were for. Ryan pressed Erin; she grew increasingly determined to toss him out. Ryan refused, so she placed a call to his home in Pine Valley. Kendall answered, and Erin announced that she had some news about Ryan.

Jamie didn't know what to think when he walked in on Josh and Babe naked in bed. Babe tried to play caught red-handed, but Jamie's instinct was to believe the whole thing was a set-up, so she worked extra-hard to convince him that she no longer wanted a JR-dictated life with him. He still wasn't buying it. Back at the mansion, Amanda tried to convince JR that Jamie and Babe's relationship was in the act of exploding. He headed over to the Pine Cone to check it out for himself. When he walked in on what was going on at the motel, his jaw dropped and he advised Jamie to accept that Babe is nothing but a slut. Amanda joined in and played her part to make Jamie believe that this was no stunt of Babe's. "This is a crock!" insisted Jamie.

In the wake of their steamy kiss, Tad and Dixie acknowledged that their feelings for each other were far from dead. They were discussing how to proceed when Del Henry's unexpected arrival interrupted them. Dixie drew him into a hug. "Please, Del," she whispered into his ear with a note of desperation. Del asked Tad for a moment alone with his sister, which Tad reluctantly granted, but not before Tad and Dixie agreed that they both wanted to see where things might go between them and shared one last peck. Dixie took Del inside, where he posed the following question to his jumpy sister: "Di Henry, what the hell are you doing pretending to be Dixie?"

Tad insisted to Aidan that they get to the bottom of whether Dixie is in danger. Aidan called Tad out about being in denial over his still-burning love for Dixie. Tad adamantly denied it, though he did acknowledge that he cares deeply for his ex and wants to honor their history by making sure she doesn't get killed.

JR basically ordered Dixie to choose between him and Tad. Dixie assured JR that she came back to town for him, not for Tad, but that she couldn't allow her son to dictate her love life. JR walked off after Dixie failed once again to coax him into dropping his vendetta against Jamie and Tad. Tad then arrived to see Dixie and delivered her case file. Tad declared that they were over for good. Dixie didn't look pleased; an argument ensued, followed by a passionate kiss.

Krystal met up with David to try to goad him into coughing up the info he has on Dixie. David told Krystal he wasn't going to 'fess up until “Babe dumps the chump” (that'd be Jamie), but confirmed that he did have dirt on Dixie. David tried to leave, but was waylaid by a giant slug from an arriving Adam. While the cocky doc was unconscious, Krystal promised Adam she knew how to get the goods out of David.

Jamie set up a romantic evening at the apartment for Babe. Amanda showed up and offered to keep him company while he waited for Babe. Jamie demanded to know what was really going on. Amanda then revealed to Jamie that Babe wasn't with Krystal, but with another guy: Josh. An apprehensive Babe, meanwhile, joined Josh at the motel room where they'd arranged to have their tryst. She began to undress and they climbed into bed.... Amanda told Jamie that she followed Babe and Josh to the Pine Cone. Jamie grabbed his keys and took off.... Amanda showed up at JR's to request her payoff, as Babe and Jamie were about to go up in flames.... Josh and Babe took a break from their kissing, agreed it wasn't working, and decided to fake a night of passion instead of actually having one. This led to a playful, giggly pillow fight, which Jamie walked in on.

Babe reeled when Amanda said she intended to go after Jamie once he dumped Babe. JR walked in and enjoyed seeing the ladies at each other's throats. He also announced to Babe that he was calling off the christening. After goading Babe and getting threatened with a baseball bat, JR took his leave. Next, Amanda called out Babe on the fact that she wants Jamie to be a rich and famous doctor who never has sex again, who spends the rest of his days pining for Babe. Amanda warned Babe that she's got to get used to the idea of Jamie wanting nothing to do with her. Amanda asked Babe to promise her that if she does land Jamie, Babe won't ruin it for her.

Zach spoke to one of his minions about the Julia situation. Kendall walked up and gave Zach a hard time about his alliance with Julia. They entered her condo, where Zach told Kendall he had no intention of getting himself killed. Zach then picked up on the fact that Kendall was harboring a secret; she evaded his questions, but he made it clear that he knows something suspicious is going on. Later, JR helped himself to access to the condo, where Kendall was alone. She covered when he found her pregnancy pamphlets. JR then got down to business: patching up their friendship. JR apologized for trying to use her to get back Chandler; she said she was sorry about not getting the company back for him. JR then tried to win his way back into her bed, but she wasn't amenable — yet.

At Wildwind, Julia sifted through a box of memorabilia from her romance with Noah. She grew weepy as flashbacks ensued. When Zach showed up, she tried to strangle him, but stopped when she realized who he was. Zach then filled her in on the fact that his plan to assist her was "in motion." Julia was upset, because she had no intention of taking orders from Zach. She wanted information from him, not a to-do list.

Sam came to see Lily to apologize for coming down on her so hard at Wildwind. "Sometimes friends screw up," he sighed. He made an impassioned plea for her forgiveness and asked Lily to tell him about Jonathan, the man who killed his father. Lily reported that Jon admitted to killing Edmund; Sam expressed his sadness over the fact that his dad died at the hands of a madman for no good reason. Sam and Lily then agreed that adults must be just as confused as they are, though less likely to admit it.

Ryan flipped when he spied bruises on Erin's arms. She angrily told him he had no right to interrogate her and told him to leave. He refused, saying he wouldn't go anywhere until he was sure Erin was safe. Erin insisted her life in Canada is a happy one; Ryan backed off and agreed to go. Once he exited, Erin raced to the back room of her cabin and spoke reassuringly to The Mystery Person Lurking Within. When Erin went out, Ryan returned and began to tear through the apartment, looking for clues to the secret she was keeping. He stood poised to open the door to where Erin's houseguest was stashed....

Josh visited Babe to discuss their deal for him to sleep with her so that Jamie will dump her. Jamie's arrival interrupted their chat; he was frustrated with her for having pulled an all-nighter at work and not that thrilled to see her hanging with Josh. She promised it wouldn't happen again. After Jamie left, Babe remarked that the plan was going well, since Jamie had now caught her with Josh twice. Josh predicted that Jamie would beat him up after catching them in a compromising position; Babe was confident that the brunt of Jamie's wrath would fall on her, just as she wanted it to. Amanda then showed up, having been summoned by Babe. Babe filled in Amanda about her plan. Amanda agreed to get Jamie to the chosen locale, so that she can walk in on Josh and Babe. But Josh expressed his doubts about Amanda's trustworthiness. Babe asked Amanda point-blank if she planned to make a play for Jamie. Amanda said that if Babe's plan worked, she intended to scoop Jamie up for herself.

Jamie reported to Brooke that the wedding is on, even though she wants him to wait. She agreed to support her son despite her misgivings.

Dixie was none too pleased when Tad showed up at the Chandler manse and revealed that he'd flown to Bangkok to check out her ex, Kevin Sheffield. Tad conceded that his discussion with Kevin confirmed that he is not out to get her. Dixie chafed when Tad speculated that Dixie might have information on someone dangerous who is connected to Kevin. Dixie reminded Tad that she doesn't need his protection and accused him of being jealous of her involvement with Kevin. She begged him to call off Aidan and give her some space. He agreed. After Tad left, Dixie saw a tabloid with her return from the dead splashed all over the cover, and she grew pale.

Ryan showed up at Erin's cabin while his sis was tending to a mysterious someone (hmmm, who could it be?) she was harboring in a back room. She tried to get Ryan to leave, but he insisted on discussing his “death” with her. He explained that he needed her not to disclose that he's alive; she said she'd keep quiet. Ryan then questioned Erin about how she had managed to emerge unscathed from their childhood home. She reminded Ryan that she bore marks from the abuse as well. Erin warned Ryan not to drop in on her again; he apologized again for abandoning her. Ryan then noticed a bruise on Erin's arm. “Who did this to you?” he demanded. In the back room of a cabin, the mysterious someone started getting restless....

Greenlee and Kendall packed up Greens's belongings in preparation for her release from the hospital and discussed their imminent appointment with Dr. Madden. Greens was appreciative when Jack, Reggie and Lily asked her to move in with them, but she gently turned them down. Jack wondered what Kendall had done to put the spark back in Greenlee; she was evasive, but he thanked her nonetheless for being such a good sister and daughter. Next, Greenlee and Kendall cheerily paid a visit to Greg, who explained the details about surrogacy. In the end, a giddy Greenlee and Kendall decided to go for it and try to get Kendall pregnant with Kendall and Greenlee's baby.

Lily revealed to Jack that she'd seen Ryan's ghost. “There's no such thing as a ghost,” scoffed Jack.

Jamie walked in on Babe and Josh's conversation and demanded to know what Josh was doing in his home. Babe covered for Josh, who left, then assured Jamie he has nothing to worry about where Josh is concerned. Jamie instructed Babe to stop trying to break up with him to help him get Phoebe's inheritance.... At the roadside bar, Babe explains to Josh why she wants to have sex with him in order to win Jamie his freedom. Josh wondered if there was another way she could go about getting Jamie to dump her; Babe insisted this was her only option. Still, Josh wouldn't comply, so Babe started flirting with a random patron. Josh observed this and announced that he'd changed his mind.

Jack relayed to Erica that Greenlee isn't doing any better in the wake of her miscarriage. Greg reported that all is not lost: Greens could have a baby with the help of a surrogate. Jack nearly flipped out, so Erica urged her hubby to let her speak to Greg alone. He agreed. Erica opened up to Greg about her feelings about Greenlee's loss and spoke of her prior abortion, which Greg had a strange reaction to. He then gave his word to La Kane that he wouldn't mention surrogacy to Greenlee. Jack returned and Erica told her hubby that Greg was going to keep quiet about the possibility of using a surrogate.

Kendall volunteered to give Greenlee a baby with Ryan: "Your baby, my belly." "This is for real? Dr. Madden said it could work?" gasped a hopeful Greenlee. She was hesitant at first, but ultimately the girls agreed the idea wasn't that crazy. Greenlee told Kendall she wanted to go for it. The friends agreed not to tell anyone in their family about their plan. Jack watched the gals from the hallway and was relieved to see a smile back on his daughter's face.

JR was suspicious when he stumbled onto a jittery Dixie in the Chandler courtyard. When Dixie suggested that she move out, JR wouldn't hear of it. After JR went up to bed, Aidan materialized, frightening Dixie. Aidan disclosed that he was there at Tad's behest and that he knows that she knows something about her ex that is endangering her; Dixie denied it. Aidan advised her to remain at the mansion for her own safety, then agreed to go home for the night. Later, Di made another mysterious phone call and received word that the person who she's agreed to keep mum about is not coming after her.

Krystal confronted Adam in his bedroom and demanded to know what it would take to get JR to back off of Babe. Adam ranted about how no one will listen to him about the woman he remains convinced is pretending to be Dixie and asked Krystal about what she's managed to learn about the secret Hayward is harboring. A tearful Krystal lamented her inability to protect Babe; Adam commanded her to stop crying but was clearly affected by the depth of Krystal's love for her child. Krystal realized that's what she and Adam have in common: unswerving devotion to their kids. They clinked glasses, after which JR walked in and, getting the wrong idea about their boudoir activities, lashed out at his dad for "finally hitting rock bottom." Krystal slapped JR, then stormed out.
