In Tad's attic, Julia started to pack up her belongings while being haunted by voices from her past. Sam arrived and ordered Julia to stay put. Julia told her nephew about what life in the Witness Protection Program is really like. Sam found the report sobering, but insisted to Julia that she not leave anyway. She remarked that he sounded just like his dad.

At the Canadian hospital, Jonathan reunited with Erin and Ryan after undergoing a battery of tests. Jon then heard a ticking bomb inside his head and started to panic; his sibs tried to calm him down, but his visions expanded to include his menacing father, then Kendall and Greenlee. Ryan and Erin summoned the doc, who restrained Jon. The doctor then informed Erin and Ryan that Jon isn't insane.

Simone, Ethan and Josh encouraged Danielle to set a trap for Garret in order to figure out if he is indeed making skeevy moves on her. After she agreed, the group was interrupted by the arrival of a beaming Mimi, with Garret on her arm. The happy couple reported that their nups were imminent, distressing Dani. Once they left, her pals convinced her to go through with her plan nonetheless, so she made plans to meet up with Garret later. When he returned to the office, Garret fell into Dani's trap, as Josh listened in.

Zach divulged to Tad that "Dixie" has written a letter to be read in the event of her untimely death that discloses the name of the man after Julia. Di furiously denied it. When Tad sided with her, Zach proclaimed him a fool, then left. Tad and "Dixie" got back to his place, where he demanded to know where the letter was. He implored her to tell her who's after Julia before it's too late. Sam interrupted their on-the-verge-of-getting-heated argument, then returned to the attic to tell Julia that Tad would be up soon. Back downstairs, Tad made it clear to Di that he wasn't going to drop the matter. Julia sauntered in and told "Dixie" that even if she didn't tell Tad the name of the guy gunning for her, she'd sure as hell tell Julia...

Greenlee and Kendall set out for a girls' night on the town at the roadside bar. Del sidled up his ex-lover, Kendall, and they enjoyed a pleasant reunion, but Greens sent him packing. As payback, Kendall made Greenlee hit the karaoke machine, where she warbled — what else? — "She's Having My Baby". When the gals returned to Greenlee's, they discovered that Zach was there. He accused Kendall of turning Julia into the police again; she denied it. Zach then revealed to the ladies that he'd found proof in Greens's house of their scheme to have Kendall become the surrogate mother to Ryan and Greenlee's baby — and, he added, he intended to stop it from happening.

Dani informed Simone of Garret's creepy zipper stunt. Dani was still unsure if he was doing anything wrong, but Simone assured her that Garret was a sleaze. Ethan surprised Simone while Josh shared a heated conversation. Dani brought up her age and said Josh was only being nice to her because he was afraid she'd have him arrested. She let it slip it was her soon-to-be stepfather who planted that in her head. Meanwhile, Simone informed Ethan of Garret's behavior and by the end of the episode, the four were talking about what could be done.

Garret, Mimi and nuDerek (Welcome, Charles Parnell!) shared some major tension as Garret invited Derek to his wedding and then Mimi informed him she wanted to change their custody agreement so Dani could decide if she wanted to go back to New York or stay in Pine Valley. Derek assured them he'd be at the wedding — for Dani's sake.

Over a beer, Adam asked Krystal if she had any new info about Dixie. It was a little loud in the bar, so Krystal used her charm (and assets) to get the place to quiet down so she could tell Adam she basically had no news, but she was taking Del out to eat and was hoping to get the goods then. Adam informed her she was no longer any use to him. And when he insulted Babe, Krystal loudly feigned that she was pregnant with his baby and that he refused to marry her. Her angry bar pals proceeded to throw him out. With Krystal still in the bar and Adam on the outside, they both arranged for flights to Crow Hollow.

Babe rescued a drowning Little Adam from the pool, but the baby stopped breathing. Babe performed CPR and JR called an ambulance. Thankfully, the baby started breathing again. He screamed and clung to his mother as JR, Del and Tad looked on. When the paramedics arrived, they were vocal that Babe saved Little A's life. After the worried parents left for the hospital, Tad asked Del where Dixie was. He didn't know, but gave him enough of a clue that Tad was off.

At the hospital, JR and Babe were assured that Little Adam would be okay. When the nurse pointed out Babe saved the child's life, JR told Babe to go ahead and let him have it. She was furious and went off on him, but because she was only thinking about Little Adam's well-being, not because she was looking to get even with him. When Little Adam was returned to the room, JR allowed Babe to stay with her son.

Di's kidnapper turned out to be Zach. Di thought he had something to do with her past and immediately told him that he couldn't hurt her, she wasn't going to rat anyone else. Zach didn't let on who he actually was and a scared Di lets it out that she has an insurance policy, a letter full of information, that would be opened if she died. When Zach brought up Dixie, Di immediately said, "Who the hell are you?" Zach demanded answers that could help Julia. She refused to say anything. Then help came through the door: Prince Charming, er, Tad, saved his Dixie yet again and knocked Zach out of the way. Then Zach informed Tad that Dixie was lying to him.

Tad and Aidan were greeted with a new client: Zach. Mr. Cambias was looking for Di Kirby. Tad was thrown, but only for a moment and asked Zach the typical PI questions about Di. Zach played along briefly and then dropped the bomb he knew Di was Dixie — and he needed her help. When Tad didn't offer any, Zach bolted. Alone with Tad, Aidan wondered if Dixie might be involved with the Julia mess. "She's my Dixie,"said Tad. Apparently he didn't need that DNA test, it only look one kiss. Tad admitted to Aidan he was falling for Dixie and was sure she wasn't lying to him.

After spotting Jamie and Amanda dining together, JR went over to offer a few snide remarks and advise his brother to stay far away from Amanda. Later, Jamie and Amanda had a heart-to-heart about Amanda's mom, Janet-from-another-planet. By the end of the episode, the duo decided to see a movie together.

Di confided in Del that she feared she was about to lose everything. Del advised his sister to keep mum. If she gave away the info that could help save Julia, Di would lose her life as Dixie and possibly her life in general. Di decided to take a drive and her car steered her to see Krystal. The former prison pals talked about Tad, and Krystal warned Di not to hurt him. After leaving Krystal, Di went to get some fresh air. Too bad a mystery person grabbed her from behind.

While trying on a dress for the wedding, Dani's zipper got stuck. And who popped in the dressing room to help her with it? That creepy Garret. After zipping her up, Garret promised to keep all of her secrets, to which Dani answered that there was one secret her mom needed to know: Garret had feelings for Dani. He assured her he didn't have "those" kind of feelings. She confessed he make her uncomfortable, and when Mimi walked up, Garret told Dani to tell Mimi just that. Dani told her simply that she liked the dress. She tried to hint that something was off, but Mimi didn't take the bait as they all stood in front of a mirror like a seemingly happy family.

Babe arrived at the Chandler mansion only to find out the social worker wasn't there yet. At first, JR was adamant she not see the baby, but after she set her plan into motion, JR showed he had a little heart and decided he'd stay and supervise the visit. When Babe realized she forgot a toy for the baby, she went to the car to get it, leaving the baby with JR. When she returned, JR was on the phone. Babe asked where the baby was and the two started looking for him. The episode ending with a spine-chilling scream from Babe.

Greenlee had doubts that Ryan was truly dead, but said if he truly was alive it was a nightmare. How could he do that to her? (What we've been asking for weeks!!) When Kendall figured out it was Lily who got Greens all wound up, she tried to coax her best friend down, blaming Lily's "ghost" on her inability to see things clearly sometimes. Once convinced Ryan was indeed dead, Greenlee gave Kendall some books about pregnancy to read and rules. "Before you get pregnant, you have to get a divorce," said Greenlee and added that the soon-to-be-mommy-to-be couldn't have sex during her pregnancy either. Kendall shook her head. She wasn't going to divorce Zach. Greenlee quickly claimed that her gal pal cared for Zach. Kendall lamented that she had not fallen for Zach and stormed out.

When Amanda joined Jamie and fawned over him, Babe was obviously pained. "We understand each other," explained Jamie. With tears shining in her eyes, Babe congratulated him and left. "From now on, Babe is off limits," warned Jamie. Amanda showed she agreed with a kiss. When he pulled away, she accused him of thinking about Babe.

Sam helped hide his Aunt Julia and she wondered why he was running from their family. Sam pointed out that Maria stopped loving Edmund before his death. "Never," assured Julia and told Sam tales of old school Maria/Edmund. "The Martins are your relatives, but your family is in California," she smiled and Sam asked to hear more about his mom and dad.

Zach told Ryan that Greenlee was having doubts about his "death." Ryan immediately wanted to know how his wife was and Zach promised she was okay, and would stay that way as long as he stayed dead. After hanging up with Ryan, Zach was cornered by Mimi, who threatened to stay on him until she found Julia. Back in Canada, Ryan focused his attention on Jonathan and started to take his brother to the hospital. Erin offered to take him instead to make sure Ryan's cover wasn’t blown — she wanted to protect both of her brothers. Erin gave Ryan a hug hoping that he could start fresh and forgive all grudges. They decided to take him together and declared they were a family.

After her run-in with Jamie, Babe nearly ran straight into Zach — who needed her help. He wanted info on Di Kirby and that was something Babe could do. Meanwhile, Tad asked Di to give him information on Kevin, her ex, to help Julia out. She insisted she didn't know anything. Dixie told Tad that if he didn't believe her he should just go. Looks like he trusts her because the next scene was a lip-lock. As Di and Tad kissed, Babe and Zach spied on them behind the bushes where Babe informed Mr. Cambias that Di, otherwise known as Dixie, was right in front of his eyes.
