A knock at the door of Erin's Nova Scotia retreat woke Ryan from his slumber. Good thing he peeked through the window first, because Greenlee was outside. Erin showed up a moment later. She recognized Greenlee, but asked her sister-in-law for space. Greenlee pleaded to be allowed inside, so they could grieve for Ryan together. Ryan ducked into a closet to overhear their conversation. Greens showed Erin some of Ryan's belongings to show her the kind of man that Ryan was. Erin asked her if Ryan was like her father. Greenlee denied this, but told Erin that Ryan died after he learned that she was pregnant. She admitted that she has since lost the baby. Greenlee confessed that she would never get over Ryan, or fall in love again. Erin embraced her. Uh, Ryan, that's your cue. Inside the closet, a teary Ryan stood up and started to leave the closet.

Julia told Di she was going to lace Garret's food or drink with bleach to poison him. Just then, an alarm on the wall beeped, signaling the arrival of their captor. Jules threw the bleach at him, but apparently the bottle was filled with water, so Julia failed the Dragon's latest test. Di threatened Garret with the letter implicating him, her "insurance policy," as she called it. He said it was insurance for her life, not Julia's. When he insisted she deliver the letter, or Julia would die, she arranged for the letter to be delivered to the boathouse at Memorial Park. Garret said, "It's better when we all get along," before leaving them alone again. The girls were determined to take the Dragon down.

Zach was handed a file with a newspaper picture that Garret and Di were in. He brought it to Tad, who meanwhile was discussing the missing Dixie with Aidan. Zach and Tad burst into Mimi's office, demanding she question her husband. She didn't buy their suspicions, but they continue to harass her. Garret walked in on them.

Babe overheard JR harassing Vanderpoole for his mother's account information at the bank. She stepped in to smooth over the situation. Vanderpoole allowed her to look at the account while he looked the other way. Later, JR grudgingly thanked Babe. "Well serve up the snow cones," she smiles, "Its freezing here in hell." JR took off, and then Josh demanded to know, "Have I been drinking before noon, or are you out of your mind?" He was upset with her comforting JR, saying, "I just hope that whatever you're pulling with JR doesn't blow up all over your kid."

Adam was suspiciously nice to Krystal, apologizing for her treatment of her. "You are my wife," he told her. "Admitting it is the first step," she grinned. He offered her a fair settlement in a divorce. She saw right through him though. Later, Adam shouted at JR about getting back Chandler Enterprises when he was still married, because half of the company would belong to Krystal, who unfortunately overheard the conversation.

Sam, Lily and Anita (Welcome back, Natalia Cigliuti!) cornered Zach about where Julia was. An angry Sam was certain Zach would be of no help, so he and Lily left. Nancy Drew, er, Lily, and her boyfriend went on a quest to find clues about Julia’s whereabouts themselves. And quickly they found their first clue: a valet ticket. Back in Zach's office, Anita told Mr. Cambias he couldn't walk away from a woman who needed help.

Erica confronted Greg about Kendall carrying Greenlee’s baby. She was furious and worried about her daughter and the emotional ramifications of this. “If Kendall is pregnant, you have as good as killed her.” He fired back, though, defending his actions. “Who are you to deny a woman a baby when you conceived a child you had every intent of tossing away?” he asked. And she answered him with a hard smack across the face. “Kendall is an adult. She made her choice, not me. Deal with it,” he spat. She didn’t back down, stating she’d pray this pregnancy didn’t take. “I will find out what you’ve done, Doctor, and I will destroy you,” Erica warned Greg.

After reading the letter Janet wrote him, Jamie stressed, “There isn’t going to be a Martin-Dillon wedding. Not now, not ever.” Amanda assured him that the only reason she told her mother that was to get her mom off her case. She promised him she knew they were in a no-strings-attached relationship. "End this fake engagement or I end us," he warned. Perhaps she misunderstood because as soon as he left, she called her mom and told her the engagement was still on.

Kendall tried to talk her best friend out of going to find Erin, but Greenlee was adamant, for her baby’s sake. Kendall just didn’t want to see her friend hurt again. She just wanted Greenlee to wait a little while. Meanwhile, in Canada, Jonathan, who was still having trouble with his motor skills, stressed he wanted to go back to Pine Valley and see Greenlee. At the very least he wanted to write Greens a letter. Jonathan couldn’t figure out how to use the pen, so Ryan had to help him. Jonathan wanted Ryan write a letter to Greenlee from him, apologizing for his actions and promising the bad was out of him. The big bro informed Jonathan he couldn’t help him. They had to stay away from Pine Valley. When Jonathan pressed again about Greenlee, Ryan fled the room. Erin tried to convince Ryan there was nothing bad in him either and to think about returning to Greenlee. Without a word, he left and went back to the cabin. At the end of the episode, Ryan was writing Greenlee a letter, in which he stated she would never receive it, and unbeknownst to him, Greenlee was booking a flight to Nova Scotia.

Josh was upset that his father didn't want him to go anywhere near Kendall and demanded answers. "Do not get involved with Kendall Hart," stressed Greg. Josh told his father he could make his own choices and left. Meanwhile, in Canada, Ryan explained to his sister that though he wanted nothing more than to hold Greenlee in his arms again, he couldn't do that to her. After Jonathan's MRI showed he was doing well and could start rehab soon, Jonathan said he wanted to go back to Pine Valley.

While Babe and JR were in the midst of conversation, Jamie showed up, wanting to help find "Dixie." Once alone with her ex, Babe lashed out at Jamie. She was furious he told David about her plans to marry JR. Jamie stated he didn't give a damn and left. Alone with JR again, Babe and the audience could see how upset JR was about "Dixie's" disappearance. When she tried to comfort him, he shook off her concern.

Meanwhile, back at Jamie's new place, he was welcomed to Amanda baking for him — in her underwear. Later, once Amanda was clothed, she tried to hide a letter Janet wrote, but Jamie opened it once he saw it was addressed to him. After reading it, he said, "Why didn't you tell me we were about to be married?"

Krystal was furious with David for keeping the truth about Di to himself. "You really are the Devil," she spat. When he discovered that Krystal hadn't told anyone, he laughed and said he couldn't wait. Krystal demanded he not announce Di wasn't Dixie, but he started to the door to go tell Pine Valley the truth about Di, and when he opened it, Adam was standing there. When Adam asked David what secret he had been talking about, David instructed him to ask his wife since she knew everything he did. Adam thought immediately of adultery, but Krystal was quick to assure him otherwise.

Though Greens wasn't keen on the idea, Kendall told Erica about being Greenlee's surrogate. "You're daughter really did give me back my life," praised Greenlee. Erica was obviously shaken, trying to absorb this new information and was concerned that Kendall hadn't completely thought it through. Could she really give up a baby after bonding with it for the next nine months? "You didn't fall in love with me," Kendall reminded her mother. After Kendall assured her that she would be able to give Greenlee this gift, Erica gave her blessing. Erica told Kendall she loved her and "was growing more fond of" Greenlee. Before they left, Greens asked Erica to keep it a secret — even from Jack — and she agreed. Once alone, Erica made a mysterious phone call. She needed to see someone ASAP. By the end of the episode, Greg showed up and Erica told him he had best pray that Kendall wasn't pregnant. And Greenlee told Kendall she had tracked Erin down.

Jonathan awakened with some motor functions, but not his sea legs. Ryan found him collapsed, and the doctor said it’s normal to be confused and unable to walk and talk — after all, the operation was a success! But Doc did confide to Ryan and Erin that Jonathan "did suffer some brain damage." Ryan and Erin tried to soothe flustered Jonathan, who muttered, "I want to go back to Pine Valley." Ryan was horrified, but Erin was for it. Ryan feared Jonathan would be locked up — plus, Ryan can't go back. Erin insisted Ryan isn’t like dad since he hasn’t thrown a chair at her yet. Erin wanted to make things right in Pine Valley, but Ryan balked.

Josh went all Obi-Wan Kenobi and told Erica he’s "got a bad feeling about this" spy mission just before Greenlee entered and reminded Erica of her vow not to interfere in her and Kendall's lives. "Kendall and I have gotten closer," Greens revealed, prompting Erica to mutter, "So you are... So she is..." Then Erica blasted Greenlee for being too selfish. Greens suggested "what we're doing is miraculous," but Erica called it "a mistake." Meanwhile, Greg told Kendall to fill in Erica about the baby because, "I like Erica a lot." As he left Kendall's condo, Greg hid from Josh. Josh hinted around about "new choices" and "changing lifestyles," then asked who Kendall thinks is hotter, "Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie?" Then he asked her out, but when she claimed to be married he blurted out, "Are you gay?" An astonished Kendall asked, "What in the name of Rosie O'Donnell is going on here?" Josh revealed Erica's suspicions, and Kendall collapsed, laughing, calling this "my mother's finest moment." She set out to "have some fun," but not before confiding that Brad Pitt is "yummy yummy." Greg flagged down Josh and warned him not to date Kendall. When Erica vowed to get Kendall therapy because "I happen to know this is a lifestyle, not a choice," Greens realized that "this train is way off the tracks." But, at that moment, Kendall burst in, announced, "It's all right mother knows," and dipped Greenlee for a kiss. She whispered the joke to Greens, who said, "Our secret is out, and so am I!" Chimed in Kendall: "That's a great heterosexual albatross off our necks." Kendall rubbed it in by suggesting Erica do a show about them as a couple, but Erica feared Greenlee would dump Kendall for a man. That was all the girls could take. They had a giggle fit that clued in Erica. Kendall confessed to loving Greens — "as a best friend," and Greenlee reciprocated. Erica admitted misinterpreting their secret, but insisted a secret still exists. So Kendall announced, "I'm gonna tell her."

JR demanded to examine Dixie's note, then accused Tad of setting Dixie up to Di...er, die... and vowed vengeance. Adam wondered why Dixie returned at all if she was determined to Di...er, die again. Tad cornered Del: "You stay put, Rat Boy," and demanded to know everything Dixie told him about The Dragon. All Del could do was suggest looking in New York. As Krystal and Babe debated revealing Di’s secret, Tad asked Krystal about her message from yesterday. JR dismissed Krystal as "just a trashy, scheming slut," and Babe countered that he doesn’t know his mother as well as he thinks. JR was stunned, but Babe covered. Then JR screamed and threw everything off his desk, searching for the letter. Krystal covered by saying she wanted to tell Tad the whole story of marriage to Adam, but the doorbell rang. It was Opal, distraught over what she read in her Tarot cards. Catty Krystal boasted of marrying Adam, shocking Opal. Then Opal read her cards and determined "Dixie is in the clutches of a newlywed!" Naturally she suspected Adam, because "the cards never lie." Some more flipping told Opal, "the newlyweds have Dixie stashed in a tower."

Garret told Julia she has the power to decide whether both she and Di live or Di... er, die. While he regretted killing Noah, Julia needs to get over it and decide what's more important: revenge or life? Garret promised that if she vowed not to expose (or kill) him, he would not kill her. Di vouched for Garret's ability to not kill people. Garret suggested he could buy a hospital or hospice for Julia to run. Julia wondered if she could trust him, but Garret countered that she could "inconvenience" him by ratting him out. Julia asked, "How do I forget that you had my husband killed?" Garret said she needs to accept the fact that he didn’t kill Noah — she did. Julia agreed to his terms, but Garret didn't buy it and left, allowing her more time to come around — or practice lying more convincingly. Julia pounded on the locked door: "You bastard! You're dead!"

While Tad stewed in the bank vault, Zach was thinking about Dixie. He deduced that neither Tad nor Kevin is the love of Dixie’s life: "It's door No. 3 — the killer." Dixie gave her heart to the Dragon. She's getting off stringing Tad along. Tad insisted he "knows my Dixie," and she's negotiating for Julia's life. Zach vowed to get the Dragon's name to protect Julia. When the vault opened, Tad locked Alfred inside and headed for the Chandler mansion.

Babe stalked the halls of the Chandler mansion (JR finally asked the $64,000 question: How does she get in?), looking for Krystal — did Adam kill her? Worse: They found the newlyweds snuggling in bed. But not for long — they woke up in horror. "Not again," Adam moaned. JR suggested cutting off the alcohol. Babe told Krystal that David knows Dixie is really Di — Dixie's half sister from Crow's Hollow. Dixie told David the truth from Switzerland just before she died (for real). Krystal withheld the info from Adam and told Babe not to share with JR. But Krystal did call Tad's voicemail. Later, Babe told JR she fears Adam will harm Krystal, so they need to bust up their parents. Del knocked on the door and recognized Krystal from the bar. He was looking for Dixie. He wasn't the only one: Tad also appeared and asked after Dixie, worried that she's in trouble. Tad feared she was trying to barter with Dragon. JR was furious with Tad for withholding info, but Tad insisted he didn't know the Dixie/Julia connection until a few weeks ago. Tad asked about the letter — the one meant to be opened in the event of her death, that would name the man chasing Julia. In light of this, Krystal decided not to tell Tad the truth about Di/Dixie. Adam had the staff search the grounds for the letter. No need — one of the maids had a letter she was supposed to give only to Tad. Sadly, this was not THE letter; this one just apologized for leading Tad on, and told him to be on the lookout for THE OTHER letter.

Erica confronted Kendall to chat about her relationship with Greenlee. Kendall cleverly hid her pregnancy test as Erica droned on about how lucky Greens was to have such a devoted pal. Kendall insisted she liked feeling needed, and her relationship with Greens has deepened since Ryan’s death. "We're as close as it gets. I love Greenlee, and she loves me." A flustered Erica went to her office and asked Josh to find out if her daughter is gay — "I mean my other daughter, Kendall." Meanwhile, outside his condo, Zach listened to Carl rationalize losing Dixie. Kendall spotted him, and shouted, "If you die on me while I'm pregnant, I'll kill you. I don't need stress of dead husband." Zach dismissed her concerns. "I was held up at the bank," he deadpanned. Kendall announced she was giving him the option of ending their marriage to avoid embarrassing him. But he replied, "I don't want to divorce you Kendall." She suggested he could already be with child. Zach asked to be kept in the loop. At the station, Erica recounted how Kendall swore off love and married Zach to avoid another disastrous romance, and now spends all her time with Greens. Josh scoffed, but Erica was serious: The girls were "talking about rubbing each other's feet." Erica sniffed that she and Opal never did that (even on her WORST day!). Erica said it was okay if Kendall is gay (Hello, Bianca!), but Greenlee is not a suitable partner. She is "too selfish" and "demanding" (coming from La Kane...WOW!) Erica told Josh to "project your maleness." (Ugh!) Why him? "How could any woman who's straight and has a libido be able to resist you?" Josh agreed — about his hotness, at least; he thinks Erica is off the mark on the gay stuff. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The gayness, at least.

Di warned Julia to drop her Dragon Quest before they both end up dead. Di sang Garret's praises as a master planner/manipulator, but said she knows him well enough to manipulate him right back. Di suggested letting him think he's in charge, because he is keeping them alive just to seduce them. Since he wants their worship, they have to pretend they love him. Di showed Julia pictures of Garret’s conquests — including herself. Di recalled meeting Garret at age 17 at New York’s Port Authority; he spotted her stealing a candy bar, paid for it, and took care of her. She related how Garret opened the world to her: Museums, operas, the ballet, etc., for three years. Until she "grew up and grew my own mind," and started voicing opinions. Then he set her free. Julia was stunned and pressed Di: at 17 you were still in Pigeon Hollow; you didn't come to Pine Valley until you were 18. "You can't be Dixie Cooney." Di didn't fight it. "I'm not Dixie," she admitted. Fearing Garret planted faux Dixie to spy on her, Julia tried to strangle Di. Di broke free and insisted, "I'm her sister. I came to help you!" She admitted she didn't set out to steal Dixie's life, "it was a disguise" at first, to start a new life. She was ashamed that she stayed quiet when realized the link between Garret and Noah's death, but she could not just let Julia die, too. Julia sensed truth in her words and sensed Di sincerely loves Tad. Then Garret came home. "How are my girls this morning?" he demanded.
