When Josh reported to Erica that Kendall is straight, she thanked him for his detective work but explained that her mission had changed: Now she needed info on his dad, info that would help her bring him down. Josh told Erica he couldn't — that he wouldn't — help her.

Kendall and Greenlee showed up at Greg's in the hopes of confirming Kendall's pregnancy; he informed them that he could no longer serve as their physician, because Erica was not happy with the role he'd played in bringing the surrogacy to fruition. Greg ran some tests and ascertained that Kendall is definitely pregnant; the ladies were jubilant, but Greg reminded them that they still have a big problem on their hands: Erica. Kendall and Greenlee then stormed over to Erica's office and gave her a piece of their mind about her interference. The gals warned Erica that if she doesn't stay away from Greg, she'll lose her access to Kendall and to Ryan's baby. Josh, meanwhile, paid Greg a visit and overheard his assistant warning him that he's playing with fire by making himself subject to Erica's investigation of him.

Julia woke up from a nightmare about murdering Garret. Anita excused herself so that Julia could chat privately with Tad. Tad asked Julia what she'd learned about "Dixie" during their time together in New York. Tad ultimately revealed to Julia that he knows Di's true identity, and she asked him if he planned to tell the world. Tad sighed that if he exposed Di as an imposter, it might undo the progress his sons were slowly making on their relationship, but that nothing excuses Di's deception. Julia put in a vote for Tad keeping his mouth shut.

Di told Little Adam that she doesn't want to lose him, which JR overheard and was confused by. Di sighed that she hadn't been completely honest and that Tad was deeply upset with her. This yanked JR's chain, though Di defended Tad's right to feel disappointed. When Jamie showed up with a gift for the baby, JR was icy and told Jamie to tell Tad that in JR's humble opinion, he's a self-righteous jerk. Di told JR to cool off, then slipped off to bring "her" boys a surprise: cookies. The sweets did the trick of temporarily bringing the brothers together. Tad then showed up and Di pulled him away for a private chat, during which Tad informed her that she was going to tell the family the truth about who she is.

Mimi came to see Danielle at Fusion and apologized to her daughter for not believing her about Garret. "What kind of mother does that?" Mimi lamented. Dani felt bad for Mimi when her mom reported that she's being investigated by Internal Affairs. When Mimi begged Dani for another chance, Dani pointed out how badly she'd needed her mom during her difficult summer — and how her mom simply hadn't been there. Mimi was willing to take her lumps but vowed not to repeat her past mistakes. Dani told her mom she couldn't guarantee a reconcilation, but promised to keep in touch with Mimi, who was headed out of town. When Mimi turned to go, Dani stopped her and they exchanged tearful "I love you"s.

After learning Jonathan was missing in the hospital, Erin and Ryan rushed there. When the nurse told them Jonathan went to look for a woman named Greenlee, they freaked. Once Ryan found Jonathan, he and Erin got him back into bed. Erin told Ryan she talked to some more nurses and it was indeed Greenlee that Jonathan saw. "Greenlee deserves the truth," sighed Ryan. Ryan told his brother and sister he was going back to Pine Valley. And after he explained everything, Jonathan could return, too. Meanwhile, in Pine Valley, Greenlee burst into Kendall's place and informed Zach and Kendall she went to see Erin. Zach was, of course, upset about this. Greens then informed the duo she thought she saw Jonathan in Canada and of details of her visit with Erin. When she noted the sadness in Greenlee's eyes, Kendall made an announcement: "We're pregnant." With the news of his wife's pregnancy, Zach walked out, but returned as the ladies were toasting to each other with a present for them.

Inside the living room of Chandler Mansion, Palmer joined the family gathering and greeted Krystal with a kiss. "Are we the only sane people in this town?" JR asked Babe. "I've kissed the unfortunate bride and now I suppose I have to toast the incredibly lucky groom," smiled Palmer. After some fabulous banter, Brooke wished Krystal luck with Adam, Opal flirted with Del and Babe noticed JR had worry in his eyes (turns out he couldn't shake off a bad feeling. Wonder why?!). Adam and Brooke shared a moment alone together where Brooke said, "You are the Adam Chandler that I divorced. If you ever catch a glimpse of that guy that I fell in love with, tell him I said, ‘Hi.' Because I loved him."

Tad tore Di apart for pretending to be Dixie. "Lady, you are one heartless bitch," he told a teary Di. "I love you and those boys every bit as much as Dixie did," Di tried to explain. Tad assured her he would forget she ever said that. Before he told everyone she was a fake, Tad wanted to know whose idea it was and how far she went to make it happen. She quickly assured him she had nothing to do with Dixie's death. She explained her past, how Del needed a kidney, and the one time she talked to Dixie on the phone. Di broke down and tried to explain that what she did was for the best. She pleaded with Tad to open his eyes and see how happy JR and Little Adam were. Just as Tad started attacking her again, JR walked in on them. JR thought it was because of the Garret situation and asked Tad to back off of her. Then before going inside, JR asked Tad to be Little Adam's Godfather. Alone again, Tad asked Di how she could lie and hurt them. "I love you more than anyone could possible love a person," she croaked. And she asked Tad not to tell JR and Jamie she wasn't truly Dixie. "I won't lie for you," he informed her. She took this opportunity to remind him he lied about JR's son. When she tried to defend herself again, Tad walked away from her.

At the hotel suite Zach arranged for Julia, she confessed to Zach that she hadn't shot Garret in self-defense, that she could have let Garret go. Zach understood where Julia was coming from. Anita and Sam entered and had a warm reunion with Julia, who told them to thank Zach for her safe return. Zach left to let the Santoses spend some time together. Zach stopped off at Kendall's and told her that the bad guys were gone and he was not dead yet. She threw her arms around him. Back at the hotel, Julia exulted in being able to use her own name again.

Danielle was floored when Derek and Livia broke the news of Garret's death and criminal activities. Once the shock wore off, Dani complained to Derek and Livia about Mimi believing Garret over her; Derek praised Dani for how maturely she'd handled the whole Garret situation.

Adam, Jamie, JR and Del awaited Dixie and Tad's return. Babe and Krystal, meanwhile, debated about whether they should reveal the truth about Di's identity to the group. Brooke arrived moments before Di and a glum Tad walked in. "Dixie" apologized for not coming clean with them earlier about her connection to Garret and embraced Tad, her savior. Moments later, she broke down and ran out to get some air; Tad stopped JR from following her. Brooke then informed Adam she knew about him and his new wife. Stuart found Di on the terrace and returned her letter. She thanked him for his help, then asked Del what she should do — keep her mouth shut or reveal her true identity? By the end of their confab, they were burning the letter. Back in the house, Brooke wondered why Tad didn't seem happy to have Dixie back. He asked her about the difference between a miracle and a fantasy. "A miracle's real," she responded. "What am I gonna do?" he groaned.... Jamie let JR hold the baby. Di returned inside and cried when she saw that JR had allowed Jamie to hold Little Adam. As Tad observed, JR told "Dixie" that when she was endangered, he realized how important it was to him to be someone she could be proud of. When Krystal and Babe joined the crowd, Adam tried to toss them out, but Di insisted they stay. Babe became overwhelmed when she saw Little Adam in Jamie's arms, so she and Krystal took their leave. JR then proposed a toast to family. Upstairs, Krystal and Babe decided to keep their mouths shut about Di's identity for the sake of the whole clan.... Di joined a pensive Tad out on the terrace and questioned him about his heavy mood. She went on and on about how there should be no more lies and secrets between them, so he stared her down and asked her point-blank if that includes the fact that she's not really Dixie, that she's Dixie's half sister, Di!

At the hospital in Canada, Greenlee reeled from having laid eyes on Jonathan, and she wondered aloud how he could possibly be alive. Panicked, she insisted to a nurse that a dangerous criminal was in their midst. Greenlee tore after a patient, but it wasn't Jonathan. "I thought you were someone else," she apologized. She decided she must have imagined the whole thing.... Erin urged Ryan to tell Greenlee that he's alive; he told Erin that if he came home to Greenlee he would have to tell her the truth about faking his death. Erin offered to stay and take care of Jonathan if Ryan wanted to go back to Pine Valley.

Di beseeched Julia not to shoot Garret, recommending that they turn him over to the cops instead. "It has to end," responded a shaking Julia, and she fired the gun right into Garret's chest. Di assured Julia that Garret would never hurt either of them even again: "It's over. No more hiding." But, Di warned, Garret's minions would soon be there. As if on cue, two of his thugs arrived and saw their boss's corpse on the ground. "Do you realize what you've done?" gasped one the henchman, who ordered his colleague to dispose of the women. Happily, Tad arrived, followed by Zach, and they punched out the men. Zach told Julia to keep quiet once the cops got there, but when the police showed up, Julia immediately blurted out that she'd killed Garret in self-defense. The cops were skeptical of the gals' claim that Garret was dangerous, but Derek arrived and confirmed it. Julia then told the group that "Dixie" was willing to give up her life for her. "I will never tell your secret," she whispered into Di's ear.

JR lamented to Kendall that if Dixie dies, it'll be his fault, because he took his grudge against Babe to an insane level and neglected his mom. He apologized to Kendall for accusing her of having been in cahoots with Krystal to stick it to Adam; she assured him that she understands why he lost his cool. JR asked Kendall for tips on forgiveness. She explained that she forgave Ryan and Greenlee in part because no one pushed her to do so. JR shuddered at the thought of still hating Babe and Jamie when he's 90 years old. Kendall went back to Fusion, where the party had died down, but Simone told her the launch was a huge success. Simone encouraged Kendall to celebrate by taking a home pregnancy test, but Kendall wanted to wait longer, then broke the news to Simone that the rest of Ryan's samples had defrosted in the black-out. Finally, she agreed to take the test then and there...

Jamie pressed Babe to reveal her secret to him, reminding her that even though their relationship is through he can still read her. She denied having a secret and turned to leave, but JR showed up before she made it to the door. JR announced to his brother and his ex-wife that if they wanted to get back together, he would no longer stand in their way. "We didn't break up over you," spat Jamie. JR told the duo that from now on, he was going to focus not on revenge but on things that matter, like raising his son. JR told Jamie he was sorry for blowing him off when he extended the offer to help track down Dixie. Jamie was suspicious of JR, but Babe called that JR was being more human out of respect for Dixie. JR's cell phone rang: It was Di. "Mom, thank God!" cried JR. Di assured him that she and Julia were both fine and would be back home soon. When JR reported that he and Jamie would both be waiting for her, Di shed tears of joy. Babe watched the brothers dash back to the mansion together.

Zach took Julia's hand and led her out of Garret's apartment as the evildoer's body was carried away.
