AMC Recaps Week of Nov. 28, 2005Friday, December 2, 2005 Ryan informed his brother and sister that Greenlee left Pine Valley and Kendall was the mother of his child. "Kendall ruined everything again," stammered Jonathan. Jonathan then left to go on a walk by himself. Meanwhile, Zach shared breakfast with the other favorite lady in his life: Myrtle, who urged Zach to fight for Kendall. "Sometimes Kendall needs to be told over and over again that she's loved or she won't believe it,” she explained. Zach seemed hopeless and left. Determined to be of some help, Myrtle called Bianca. Zach ended up at Ryan’s and tried again to get him, Erin and Jonathan out of town. When Ryan accused Zach of shooting at Jonathan, he responded, “If I had tried to kill him, he’d be dead.” Then he warned Ryan that Kendall had best not get hurt because of him. At Dr. Madden's clinic, Di arrived to fill out an application for a job. Imagine her surprise when Tad walked in. When Tad found out she was hoping to work there he was delighted. He would need her to help him out. “I’d do anything for you,” she assured him. Later, super sleuth Tad broke into Greg’s room on a search for information. “Oh, my God,” he sighed, when he found some files. Meanwhile, JR went to visit Del and offered him money to sleep with Babe. But when Di walked in on the offer, she ordered her brother not to take it. Del doesn’t seem to be good at taking advice from his big sis because he was at Babe’s door by the end of the episode.
On the Fusion roof, Kendall had memories of her and Zach. She took her ring off and threw it off the roof. "I can get over Zach," she claimed. After going back to the office, Kendall broke the news to Dani and Simone that Greenlee was gone and she was in charge now. Simone took the opportunity to blast her friend before the trio discussed business. Unfortunately, business had to wait because an angry Jonathan showed up. He berated a fearful Kendall, but Dani and Simone came to her rescue and made him leave. Simone tried to have a heart-to-heart with Kendall so she could understand her, but Kendall wanted to be alone. Once Simone left, a mystery assailant knocked Kendall out.
Thursday, December 1, 2005 At the beach (umm... the one in Pennsylvania) Ryan heard someone screaming, so hero that he is, he took his shoes off and ran toward the ocean. He brought back a very upset and bikini-clad Julia, who had only lost her necklace Noah gave her, hence the screaming. The chilly duo warmed up and bonded by the beach fire. After Ryan told Julia about the baby debacle, she wondered what he was going to do about the child. Ryan feared he wouldn't be a good father, but Julia said, "I think you'll be okay, as long as you don't pour beer in his cereal." When Julia suggested that Ryan go after Greens, Ryan shook his head no. He respected Greenlee and promised her he'd let her go. Before they left, superhero Ryan found Julia’s missing necklace. “You’re an angel!” she exclaimed and hugged him. After Erica and Jack declared their love for each other, Jack got an upsetting phone call: Greenlee called to tell him she had left town. This caused another fight for Erica and Jack as each took the side of their own child. The fighting got so bad that the husband and wife decided to sleep in different homes. Zach swept Kendall into his arms and took her inside, wiping her tears away as he tried to comfort her. When she tried to make him leave, he stopped her and said, "Not until I say what I want to say." He struggled with his words, but finally admitted to his wife that he had fallen in love with her. (Great scenes for all of you Zendall fans!) “I want you in my life...always,” he told her before he took her face in his hands and kissed Kendall. She pulled away from him and berated him for his “phony love.” She didn’t believe him for a second. “Goodnight, Zach. I will see you in divorce court,” she said, despite him insisting his love was true. “You just made the worst day of my life," she cried, "like 100 times worse.” A scantily-clad Jamie opened his door to Amanda, who was distraught over JR's threat. Too bad for her, Amanda found another woman in Jamie's room. (How's that for a chance of pace?!) When Jamie recommended mental help for Amanda, she told him to go to Hell and fled. Meanwhile, back at the Chandler Mansion, Babe was still feeling pretty woozy, so JR insisted that she stay there. Because of the poison, her fingers still weren't working perfectly, so JR helped her undress and get her tucked into bed and sweetly watched his ex-wife as she slept.
Wednesday, November 30, 2005 Erica stormed into Tad’s and announced: “I want everything you’ve got on that lying SOB.” But with all of those running around in Pine Valley, Tad asked her to pinpoint which SOB she was talking about. That would be Greg Madden, explained Erica, and she needed Tad to find out how he was connected to her. Meanwhile, at the Valley Inn, an employee requested that Jack and his family find another place for Thanksgiving next year. “Gee, I can’t imagine why,” quipped Jack. Zach chastised Jack about his attitude toward Kendall. “You should be helping Kendall right now,” he sighed. When Jack wondered why Zach didn’t come to Kendall’s defense, he replied, “She didn’t want me to defend her. She wanted one of you to do it.” Later, Erica and Jack found each other and vowed to get through their family’s troubles together. Greg asked his son why he exposed Kendall’s secret. Josh called his father hypocritical and turned the tables on Greg. “Why would you do it? Why Kendall?” The two Madden men fought for the entire episode. Later, Josh called his father on another secret he was sure the good doc was keeping, one concerning Erica. And he vowed that he wouldn’t remain a secret for long — not as long as Josh could help it. Tad happened to be in the right place at the right time and was there to overhear it all. Elsewhere in Pine Valley, Erin was startled by Aidan while jogging in the park. They shared a civil conversation about Jonathan and later jogged together. With Greenlee gone, Ryan attacked Kendall for showing up — and then about the baby. “How could you do this?” he wondered. “This all started because YOU broke her heart to save her,” Kendall yelled. “You have no right to judge me after what you did to her... Everything I did, I did because I love her. And if you can’t understand that, you can rot in hell!” Then she left, leaving Ryan dumbstruck. The episode ended with a musical montage to "Gifted From Angels" by Sugar Rush. Kendall broke down outside of her front door in tears, but Zach was there to hold her. Ryan faced life without his wife. And Greenlee cried as she drove away from Pine Valley. (Farewell Rebecca Budig! Sniff, sniff.)
Tuesday, November 29, 2005 Back at home, Ryan begged Greenlee not to leave. Ryan said Greenlee doesn't run but she declared she was done with wishing and dreaming. Ryan asked her to let him help her but she reminded him that he left her when he "died." She kept packing and said she had to leave because no one could bring back the two babies that she lost. Ryan then offered to have his vasectomy reversed. Greenlee stressed that she still couldn't have his child but he said they could get a surrogate (Kendall need not apply). Greenlee couldn't do it and went to leave, so Ryan offered to leave with her. Ryan said he'd keep in touch with his family and that they can figure out what to do about Kendall's baby together. He made a grand pitch and was getting through to her...until Kendall showed up. At the Chandler mansion, Krystal was concerned when Adam couldn't move his arm. Outside of the house, JR thought Babe was joking with him when she said she couldn't breathe. JR ran inside when Krystal screamed. Palmer offered amusing commentary when Krystal realized something was wrong with her hands and she couldn't dial 911. Meanwhile, Josh brought Amanda to the hospital where Anita checked her out. Adam and Babe were wheeled into the hospital and JR wondered if they had been poisoned. JR then saw Amanda and accused her of poisoning his family. Josh tried to defend her as JR threatened Amanda. Adam told Krystal not to count her inheritance yet. JR came into the room and demanded that Amanda be arrested because she is responsible. Babe was worried Little Adam might have been poisoned too. A concerned David showed up and asked who did this to Babe, who reminded him that she doesn't want anything to do with him. Babe said David was smothering her and he admitted she was right — he needs to respect that she's a grown woman. Krystal came in and wanted David thrown out. David promised to be a better father and said he won't interfere with her plan for JR. JR showed up and wondered what they were all talking about. David said he was worried about Babe and JR told him to go clean a toilet. After David and Krystal left, JR told Babe that Little Adam was fine and he apologized for not believing she was sick. Krystal then told a sleeping Adam to not even think about dying on her.
Monday, November 28, 2005 Josh nearly ran Amanda over — half a mile from the Chandler Mansion. (You'd think this girl would stop walking in the middle of the road after just being mowed down!) "I don't have a clue how I got here," she admitted. Meanwhile, Lily ran into Jonathan near her special tree. The two talked about a life skills class. Jonathan wanted LIly to help him. “My dad says you are a liar,” she nervously said and left. Elsewhere, Janet missed Amanda. Greenlee toasted to Kendall, "the one and only mother of Ryan's baby." Needless to say, chaos erupted at the Kane-Montgomery Thanksgiving dinner when Kendall confirmed she was indeed the mother of the child she was carrying. She explained that Greenlee's embryos were destroyed in the blackout and only a few of Ryan's specimen survived. She had an instant to decide what to do. She knew Greenlee wouldn't survive without Ryan's baby, so she gave her that the only way she knew how. "When this child is born, he'll be my gift to you," she tearfully said. Greenlee didn't believe it. She stated she wanted nothing to do with Kendall and left. Everyone at the dinner then attacked Kendall. Only Erica offered supportive words. After Kendall fled, Erica cornered Dr. Madden. “You are out to destroy me and I demand to know why.” Elsewhere, Kendall got a surprise when she felt ill: Zach offering her a towel. And back at their home, Ryan discovered Greenlee packing. She was leaving town. She couldn’t be near Kendall or the child she wasn’t having.
