Di lashed out at Tad for calling her Dixie. In their ensuing argument, Tad said he thought it was a mistake for them to work together. She struck back, asking Tad who he kissed on midnight, her or Dixie. Di ranted that Dixie is not the saint Tad thinks she is. "What the hell are you talking about?" he shouted. Di covered by noting that she failed to meet him in Europe. Tad told Di she'd gone too far and walked out.

As Greg listened in, Erica blasted Josh for guest-hosting NEW BEGINNINGS, accusing him of trying to take her place and told him he was fired. When Josh smoothly defended his actions, Erica cooled her jets and apologized. When she left, Greg revealed himself and confronted Josh about bugging La Kane's office. Josh divulged that he has his eyes on Erica's job. "Who are you?" said a disappointed Greg. Josh accused his dad of having lost it over Erica. Greg told Josh to drop his vendetta against Erica. Erica returned and asked for a moment alone with Greg. Just then, Erica put together how she knows Greg and gasped.

Krystal and Adam took Little Adam ice-skating and bumped into Ryan and Jonathan. Janet, in her nun costume, observed their tense interaction. Jon saw Janet and tried to discuss theology with her, but she had a scheme to launch.... After Ryan left, Krystal tried to convince Adam that Amanda, not Jonathan, kidnapped their grandson. Adam let it slip that he hated seeing Krystal humiliated on New Year's Eve, but in the discussion that followed, he accused her of trying to shame him into divorcing her. "I give up," he said, consenting to the divorce. Krystal questioned his change of heart. Tad showed up and recommended to Krystal that she accept Adam's offer. She turned Adam down; he left. Krystal denied having feelings for Adam when Tad called her out. Krystal observed that Tad may have feelings for Di that he doesn't want to acknowledge.... Ryan advised Jon to keep a low profile — and to stay far away from Kendall. Jon was hopeful that once Kendall has the child, Ryan would stay in town to raise the baby.

Zach came to Kendall's bearing gifts and kisses. Zach grilled Kendall about the shift in her mood; she explained that her pregnancy is the problem. Zach assured Kendall that her son-in-the-oven doesn't matter; he loves her, plain and simple. "I'm happy with you, with or without a baby," he smiled. Kendall wondered how the Ryan issue factored in for Zach. Zach replied that he's confident that they'll figure out how to make everything work. He planted a passionate kiss on his gal as Ryan arrived.

JR found Babe on the beach and told her he was sorry for the way he reacted to finding her in Josh's bed. "I keep wondering why the hell you want me back," he sighed. She clarified that she didn't want to want him. JR told Babe that he'd seen a friend that day (Kendall) who's madly in love, "flying too high, going too fast," poised, potentially, to self-destruct. JR told Babe he was there to suggest that she stay away from him. They began squabbling when he said they weren't worth the effort and the risk. "Forget it is right," she sighed. JR then followed her to the shack, where they acknowledged their inability to get each other out of their systems – and glided into a steaming hot kiss.

Someone pushed Di into the lake.

A blissful Kendall danced home; JR was waiting for her in the courtyard and laid a surprise kiss on her. Once they were inside, Kendall told JR (there to make amends for their Fusion fight) that she was "deliciously happy" — and he pulled her into an even steamier buss. She broke it off and broke the news to JR that she is having her child and is together with Zach now. JR had any number of reservations, but ultimately Kendall told JR that nothing was going to spoil her good mood. JR didn't want his sexual relationship with Kendall to be over; she assured him that he adores him but needs to take the risk of loving Zach. "When that rush runs out, I'll still be here," he said. Kendall advised JR to find a great gal to fall in love with. After JR left, Bianca realized that her pregnancy had begun to show.

Bianca encountered Babe on the beach and asked her what she was trying to pull where JR was concerned. Binks begged off, then inquired about Babe's breakup with Jamie. Babe filled in Binks about her plan to marry JR for custody of Little Adam. Bianca expressed concern that Babe might get hurt if she genuinely falls for JR again; Babe then offered to sell her Fusion shares to Zach if Binks wants her to. Bianca said she wouldn't make that call. Babe joked that perhaps she'll give lesbianism a shot since Bianca is so perfect and her own luck with men is so shoddy. Babe got emotional when Bianca told her that she still has the picture Babe gave her before she left for Paris. "Good luck, Babe," said Bianca before strolling off. JR watched Babe sitting on the rocks...

Tad confronted Greg about his dossier on the Martin family. Tad was dubious when Greg said he was doing a research project that Joe inspired his curiosity about. Tad left and met up with Di at the beach shack to discuss the Greg/Erica situation. Tad reached the conclusion that Erica may have to figure out her connection to Greg on her own since he hasn't turned up anything useful. Tad then accidentally called Di "Dixie".

Josh denied Amanda's accusation that he deliberately planted rumors about Erica's drinking with the tabloids. He feigned outrage and reminded her of how he's stood up for her time and time again; the ploy worked and she apologized.

At the warehouse, Erica called out to see if anyone was there. And guess who was? Janet! Janet gushed to La Kane about how happy she was to reunite with her old pal. Erica tried to get Janet to focus on the task at hand: getting her out of there and to her meeting with Geraldo. The ladies then bonded over their mutual dislike of Babe. Before bolting, Erica agreed not to tell Amanda that she'd run into Janet. Mirror Janet scolded Janet for letting Erica know where her hide-out is. Janet then donned a nun costume.

Erica was furious when she strode back into NEW BEGINNINGS, lashing out at Josh for the mishap with the limo. Erica became even more livid when she realized the solution Josh came up with for the missing air space: to serve as the host of the show himself.

At Jamie's place, Amanda caught him going through her purse and accused him of looking for dirt on her. Jamie tried to wiggle out of it by planting a passionate kiss on Amanda, but when that didn't work, he told her he had been putting something inside her bag: a pair of diamond earrings. She apologized for doubting him.

JR freaked out when a lingerie-clad Babe woke him up in bed. She laid it on thick, referring to herself as a slut and trying to tempt JR. The trick worked: He grabbed her into a hot kiss. She broke away, outraged, and showed him medical results proving that she'd been drugged on New Year's Eve. He scoffed at the toxicology results, and Jamie walked in on them mid-brawl. "I find her in bed with Josh Madden and she thinks I'm going to hell," scoffed JR after Babe walked out in disgust. Jamie blasted JR for not believing Babe. "It's like you want to be betrayed," Jamie suggested. JR countered that he doesn't want it, it just always happens. Jamie left after JR rejected his attempt at peace-making yet again.

On the beach, Zach and Kendall cuddled and basked in their love — which apparently was keeping them warm, since neither seemed to mind the cold. The duo built a sand castle together and when Bianca showed up, they faked an argument for her benefit. Zach took off to find Myrtle at the casino while Bianca apologized profusely to Kendall for trying to get her and Zach together. Kendall broke into a grin and gave Binks the good news that she and Zach are a couple now. Bianca was thrilled. The sisters embraced and trilled, but agreed that Erica was not going to be excited about this latest development. Bianca recommended they keep the news from Erica for a while.... Myrtle was tickled pink when Zach gave her the update.... Kendall rejoined Zach at the casino bar and talked him into keeping their love a secret for the time being.

Erica had a nightmare in which Greg, wearing a surgical mask, declared his love for her. She told Tad, who stopped by her office, about her dream. Erica was wigged out when Tad showed her the photo he'd found in Greg's possession: The little girl it pictured was her! Tad and Erica agreed that it was mighty creepy that Greg should have her baby picture. Tad suggested they investigate Erica's medical history to see if Greg might have treated her in the past. She was all for it. She then strolled up to Josh and Amanda and asked what had happened to the master tape of her interview with "America's favorite investigative reporter," Geraldo Rivera. Amanda flashed back to Josh blaming her for the tape being erased. In the present, Josh told Erica about the mishap and promised to find out who was responsible. Erica then saw the tabloid with her face splashed all over it, which implied that she was drinking again. Josh, who was responsible for the rumor, tried to calm her down, insisting that no one would pay attention to a silly tabloid rumor, then hurried her out to re-interview Geraldo. Amanda drank all this in, then confronted Josh: "Are you trying to sabotage our boss?"

Greg confronted Di about her having gone through his things. Tad entered and told Greg that he's the one who rifled through his files. Di left the men alone to talk after Tad convinced Greg that she hadn't helped him break in. Tad revealed to Greg that he was working for Erica and asked the doc about the baby picture. When Martin threatened to call the cops, Greg grabbed the phone and insisted he wasn't stalking Erica. Tad allowed that perhaps Greg and Erica's relationship wasn't his business. "But this is," he added, brandishing Greg's file on the Martin family....

Alone on the beach, Babe thought about her New Year's Eve dance with JR and muttered aloud, "What is wrong with you, Babe? What are you doing?" "Good question," said Bianca, who strolled up. Binks offered to help Babe.

Erica showed up at the warehouse where she thought she was supposed to interview Geraldo, but the place was empty.

The revelers at the Valley Inn were stunned when a groggy, nude Krystal emerged from the oversized cake, courtesy of a snickering Janet. Horrified, Krystal tried to cover herself, then accused Adam of being responsible for her condition. Adam denied drugging her and didn't believe that she'd been drugged in the first place; his theory was that she had deliberately humiliated him.

JR blasted Babe when he walked in on her in a compromising position (naked in bed) in Josh's hotel room. "What did you do to me?" she screeched at Josh, who insisted he found her there rather than placed her there. JR told Babe that it was all over and tried to leave, but she wouldn't let him. She defended herself, claiming that she'd been drugged, but he wasn't in the mood to listen and stormed out. Babe punched Josh in the gut even as he insisted he didn't drug her ... but then it dawned on her that perhaps Amanda was to blame and she took off. Babe accosted Amanda back in the ballroom as JR looked on. Amanda denied having anything to do with what had happened to Babe and Krystal. Janet's eyes narrowed as the Carey women came down hard on Amanda. JR told Adam that he and Babe were kaput, which was music to Adam's ears. Palmer then gloated to Adam that the Chandler Enterprises board were thisclose to removing him from power. Palmer warned Krystal to watch her back with Adam and invited her to move in with him. She was confident she could hold her own.... Babe swore to Josh that Amanda was not going to get away with drugging her and sabotaging her relationship with JR, who spat to Babe that she'd be lucky to see Little Adam even once in 2006.... Janet and Mirror Janet congratulated themselves for a job well done.

Zach and Kendall made out as fireworks exploded around them. Kendall then asked Zach if he'd confessed his love for her while she was in the hospital; he confirmed that he had. "When did you know?" she wondered. He replied that there were two answers, both true. Kendall had a hard time believing that all of this was really happening, but a smile broke out over her face as she read the card Zach scripted for her, which read, "May this night never end." They then affixed their notecards to balloons and released them.

Tad poked around Greg's office for dirt on the doc. What he found first was Di, there on a similar mission. They set aside their bickering when they came across an intriguing videotape — but didn't know what to think when they screened it and discovered that the video was of Erica in her modeling heyday. Tad then spontaneously pulled Di into a kiss. "It was a knee-jerk reaction," he sighed. "Time to go home." Before they left, however, they found a black-and-white photo of a young mystery woman.

Julia and Ryan nearly kissed at New Year's, but he nixed the idea. He did, however, accept her next suggestion, which is that they go skinny-dipping. After he agreed not to peek, they dove into the freezing water. Later, as they dried off, Ryan admitted that he had stolen a glance at Julia's form. "Better have," she trilled.

Aidan and Erin broke from their passionate first kiss and discussed the significance of smooching. Aidan then encouraged Erin to make a fresh start with her new year. She tenderly caressed his face.

Simone was convinced that Ethan was going to dump her, but had a different surprise in mind: a marriage proposal. She was so stunned that she asked him to repeat himself — then ecstatically accepted.
