In his shallow grave, Greg's attempt to meditate was interrupted by another recorded message from his captor, who said Greg would die unless he ponied up Kate's whereabouts. Greg was convinced that Tad was responsible for his predicament, then turned his suspicions to Dixie, then to Di, Del, Zach and Erica. He vowed that they would never win. "You won't break me!" he proclaimed. Greg then realized he was speaking to a recorded voice, not a live one, and his desperation increased.
At the yacht club, Tad and Derek sought clues about Greg's blown-up boat. Tad confronted Zach about his possible involvement, but Zach kept his cool — until Tad reported that Greg's island office was now completely empty. Zach reminded Tad that what Greg did to Dixie is no worse than what JR did to Kendall. Del strolled up, followed by Di, and told Tad and Zach that he's the one who blew up the boat. After Del and Tad exchanged harsh words, Tad took off. Di read Del the riot act for antagonizing Tad.
Following the explosion at the yacht club, which blew up Greg's boat, Julia tended to Josh's minor injuries at the hospital. Josh accused Jamie of being responsible. Jamie shut Josh up when he told Josh about Greg using his own sperm to fertilize his female patients. Derek showed up to question Josh about who might have sabotaged his dad's yacht; Josh claimed ignorance. Privately, Jamie and Julia questioned each other about whether they had anything to do with the boat explosion. They both maintained their innocence. David saw them together and made a crack to Julia about their age difference.... Joe raced to Josh's side to make sure he was okay. The men bonded as Josh shared that he doesn't trust anyone in town. "I hope you know you can trust me," said Joe. Josh acknowledged that, while he doesn't want to believe that Greg is evil, he knows his dad is keeping something significant from him. "I think it has something to do with Erica," Josh continued. "I have to know what they're hiding." Gulp, said Joe. Josh asked Joe to tell him what his father and Erica were concealing from him. "I need your help," he pleaded. "I deserve to know the truth."
Dixie went to the Chandler manse to see JR, but encountered Adam instead. Adam tried to block her access to their son, but Krystal ordered Adam to back off.... Babe fantasized about making love to JR before he faced the judge. When her hubby visited her in the room they once shared, he said he wanted to go over some business matters before his trial and revealed that he'd signed over his power of attorney to her, giving her control over his Chandler stock. JR said he wouldn't fight Babe if she wanted a divorce and full custody of Little Adam. Winifred brought the baby in for some cuddle time with JR, who wept as he said good-bye to his boy.... JR and Babe came downstairs and Dixie tentatively told JR how sorry she was for hurting him. JR offered that he was able now to begin to see Dixie's choices through her eyes even though he still couldn't understand how she could have left him behind. "I am so proud of you," sobbed Dixie. They shared an emotional hug. Adam winced when JR said he hoped Dixie would spend time with Babe and Little Adam in his absence — but grudgingly agreed when JR asked Adam to make Dixie feel welcome at the house. Next, JR proffered an apology to Krystal for causing Babe pain. Tad and Jamie showed up and hugged JR. "We can all ride over in the car together," volunteered Adam. (The clown car?) Dix requested a moment alone with Babe. The group, minus those two women, headed to the courtroom. Jamie was touched when Julia showed up to support him. Zach, David, Del and Di filed in, as well. Back at the house, Dixie begged Babe to stop the trial from happening. "Save my son," she said. "You're the only one who can."

Kendall woke up in her hospital room to a visitor: JR. She was happy to see him, but Zach, who entered, was not, and tossed him across the room. JR proceeded to tell Kendall that he is the reason she ended up in the hospital. As he confessed, she recalled him spilling the beans about the "accident" to her while she was comatose. JR told the trio that he was prepared to do time for his crime. A weeping Kendall read JR the riot act for endangering her life, Spike's life, and ruining their friendship. She commanded him to leave and he complied. Once alone with Zach, Kendall explained that she heard JR speaking to her while she was unconscious and that she'd heard a gunshot, too. Zach told her about what had gone down with Ryan and the cops. She was awestruck by her hubby's devotion. Kendall was surprised when Zach reported that Ryan had initially opted to save her life over their son's. Zach assured Kendall that they'd handle the charges against him. "There is nothing that anyone could ever do to pull us apart again," he smiled.
Erica tracked down Jack at his old penthouse and urged him to return to their new home and let Lily live her own (married) life. Erica noted that Bianca had taught her how to let go in order to be a better parent, but Jack insisted that Lily required his intervention. In time, though, Jack let his wife's wise counsel guide his decision to leave the old apartment with her. They walked down the hall arm in arm.
At Greenlee's old place, Jonathan experienced a severe headache, which concerned Lily. They received a visit from Aidan and Erin, who were bearing wedding gifts. Lily took Erin on a tour, giving Aidan the chance to grill Jon about his dizzy spells. Ryan showed up and congratulated the newlyweds. After their guests left, Jon and Lily retired to their bed, where Jon had thoughtfully placed a body pillow in between them. "I love you, Mrs. Lavery," he said. "I love you, too, Mr. Lavery," she replied.
On the eve of JR's hearing, Josh made an unsuccessful attempt to lift Babe's mood and excused himself after expressing his genuine sympathy over her plight. Babe climbed into bed. JR appeared in the doorway; she gave him the cold shoulder. As he packed up some of his belongings, he expressed his anxiety about the hearing. He requested of Babe that she let him hold her one more time; she agreed and they shared an emotional embrace. He thanked her and said good night.
Julia and Jamie went on a dinner date to the yacht club. They made a flirty bet about whether a pair of fellow diners would be leaving together. Julia won. Josh strolled up and made a crack to the nascent duo about their age difference. Jamie was dismissive, but it bugged Julia, so Jamie tried to set her mind at ease. They clinked glasses, but the romantic moment was interrupted by an explosion in the harbor.
A pensive Ryan watched Zach and Kendall cuddling in her hospital bed.

Tad wigged out when he entered Dixie's hotel suite and it was trashed. He threw his arms around her with relief when she showed up. Dix reported that she'd been with Zach, but they had been unable to locate him. Tad warned Dixie that getting to Greg was going to take playing dirty. David strolled in and announced that he was going to be the one to find Kate. Tad threatened David with physical harm if the doc interfered in Tad's search for his daughter. Dix commanded them to stop bickering. She made it clear to David that she didn't want his help and would, in fact, like him to leave. He complied, albeit reluctantly and with a final vow to recover Kate for her. Tad decided to visit Greg's island, which Dixie feared was a waste of time. She thanked him for saying that "they" were going to find Kate.
At the hospital, Zach threw open the door to Kendall's room and gasped when his wife wasn't there. Down the hall, Erica pressed Josh to reveal Greg's whereabouts to her. Their confab was interrupted by Zach's arrival. Erica was cold to him, but Bianca told him that Kendall was in the nursery visiting Spike. With Ryan by her side, Kendall spoke lovingly to her son. Ryan stopped short of telling Kendall what was on his mind when Zach joined them. Zach and Kendall beamed at one another and embraced lovingly. Their reunion was rough on Ryan, who remained in the background. Bianca arrived in time for Kendall to introduce Zach to the baby. "Hey, little guy," cooed Zach. Binks kept an eye on Ryan's reaction.... Josh tried to brush past Erica, but she wouldn't let him leave. "Josh, your dad attacked me," said Erica. She described waking up on the park bench after Greg drugged her. Jack materialized and supported Erica, warning Josh he wouldn't get off scot-free. Erica clarified that she was mad at Greg, not Josh. Josh left and Jack told Erica how happy he was that Kendall was out of her coma. Jack could tell that Erica was hiding something from him, so she filled Jack in about her latest ordeal with Greg.... Zach congratulated Ryan on his new son. Julia broke up the party, gently ordering Kendall back to bed. Binks spoke to Ryan privately, asking him if he really planned not to tell Kendall about his feelings for her. Ryan said that Zach made Kendall happy and he didn't want to interfere. Bianca expressed her reservations about how hard it was going to be for Ryan to deal with Spike, Kendall and Zach, but Ryan was confident in his ability not to let the situation eat him alive.... Kendall and Zach reconnected in her hospital room. He told his wife about how he'd fought for Spike while she was unconscious. An emotional Kendall thanked Zach for being the only man who's ever truly listened to her. "I have never loved you more," she sighed.... Erica begged Jack not to seek revenge against Greg, but he insisted on calling Derek.
Greg was buried alive in a coffin beneath a flower bed in the park, just behind the bench where Babe had discovered Erica. He came to and was understandably freaked out. Greg bellowed for help, to no avail. Greg realized he'd been buried with water, snacks, a light source and a supply of oxygen. A distorted voice piped up and Greg asked what his captor wanted from him. His first guess was that Erica was responsible, but the voice nattered on and Greg began to suspect that Tad was his attacker. The voice communicated that Greg would have to pony up Kate's whereabouts if he wanted his freedom. Greg grew weaker.
At the yacht club, Di chastised Del for getting distracted from his mission of keeping an eye out for Greg. Del assured her that their mission was still a go. Del and Di then ran into Josh, who refused to speak to them about Greg. Di wouldn't take no for an answer but Josh swore he had no idea where Dixie's kid was or what had happened to Greg. "As far as I'm concerned, I don't even have a father anymore," he spat.

Ryan and Bianca were napping at Kendall's bedside when she opened her eyes and called out their names. They were both ecstatic. Kendall asked what happened to her. Ryan and Bianca explained that she was hurt at an accident at Fusion. Kendall asked where Spike was, and Ryan said he's small, but fine. Kendall had a hard time believing her baby could be okay given how early he was delivered, but Ryan kept assuring her he was. Ryan told Kendall how hard Zach fought for her and the baby. Dr. Solomon and Julia interrupted to look over Kendall. Before he left, Ryan promised to find Zach. When Ryan tried calling to leave a message for Zach, he found out that someone bailed him out of jail. Ryan tried calling Zach at home and work, but no luck.
Babe found Erica lying asleep outside, but Erica didn't remember how she got there. She thought back and the last thing she remembered was arguing with Greg just before he injected her with something. Just then, Erica got a call from Bianca about Kendall and she rushed to the hospital to see her. They had a cute moment together, and then Kendall tried to get up out of bed to go see Spike. Erica insisted her daughter listen to the doctors and continue to rest. Kendall told Erica that Zack would be a great stepdad. Erica said things could be difficult with she and the baby being between Zach and Ryan's feuding. Kendall said she'd make it work.
Bianca and Ryan came back into Kendall's room and she asked them where Zach was. When Erica alluded to Zach having to "pay the consequences," Bianca and Ryan shifted the topic and said they were sure he'll be coming by soon. Ryan wheeled Kendall out of her room to see her baby. Before she did, though, Ryan prepared her by explaining that her baby was in an incubator and assuring her that he will be just fine after a while. Kendall teared up as she reached out to touch her tiny baby while "emotional" background music played.
Amanda caught Del looking at her in her bikini through a pair of binoculars. Del said he wasn't spying, but keeping watch to make sure Madden doesn't ship out of town. Del slipped her his number and told her she was "very hot." Amanda smiled and walked away, looking back to see Del gazing at her through his binoculars again.
JR and Jamie pressed Josh to tell them if he was going to leave town the night before. He refused to answer, but David stepped up and told Josh he has no choice but to answer to him. Josh said he has no idea what his dad did or didn't do and that he isn't going to help a pack of "vigilantes" hunt him down. David took Josh to the side and asked if he at least knows if his father has gone some place where he has access to the health care he needs. Josh said he does not.
Tad told Di what a screw-up Del was, but Di told her to give him a little credit for disabling Madden's plane. Tad pointed out that Madden knocked him out and has been two steps ahead of them all along. "Nothing will ever be okay again until I find my daughter," Tad said. JR and Jamie came back and they all tried to figure out what they should do next. Tad said he's tapping Josh's phones and screening his e-mails to try to intercept any communication he may have with his father. Babe dropped in to tell JR that Kendall and the baby both survived. JR was relieved that he was off the hook. Babe pressed him and Jamie to explain where they were the night before.
Tad flung open the door to Dixie's hotel suite and was alarmed by what he saw. Meanwhile, Greg woke up in the floor of an undisclosed location.

With off-screen help from Ryan, Livia worked to secure Zach's release from jail. From his cell, Zach called the hospital and had Julia paged. She had no news to report on Kendall. Livia returned with good news for Zach: She'd posted his bail.
In Greg's office, where there was no trace of Madden, Di told Tad and Dixie that Del was on top of the Greg situation and wouldn't let the doc out of his sight. Cut to: an unconscious Del on the loading dock. Aboard Greg's plane, Madden spoke to his passed-out captive, Erica, telling her that the mechanical trouble with his aircraft would be resolved by the time she woke up.... Tad couldn't reach Del on his cell phone. Dixie told JR and Jamie, who were also present, about her years-long search for Kate. The group brainstormed about where Del and Greg could be. Josh walked in and, as Julia eavesdropped, Tad, Di, Dixie, Jamie and JR told Josh that his father was a monster and demanded to know where he'd gone. Josh defended his dad and went on alert when Tad made a comment about how Josh owes a debt to "this family." Julia walked in and added Greg's crimes against her to the list the Martins offered up to Josh. Dixie slipped out unnoticed during the tirade. Julia told Josh she felt sorry for him because he clearly loves his dad. Julia encouraged Josh to help right his father's wrongs. With a heavy heart, Josh informed Julia about the existence of his dad's private jet... JR and Jamie went to the yacht club and learned that Greg's boat is still in port. "I wonder what she looks like," mused JR, referring to Kate. Jamie assured his brother that they'd find out.... A maniacal Greg cooed to a still-unconscious Erica that they were finally going to be together.... Di tried to get Tad to accept her help in tracking down Greg. Di followed Tad to the airport, where they stopped the flight Greg was scheduled to take. The attendant revealed that Greg never boarded the plane. Tad then had a brainstorm and became confident that he knew where Madden was... Jamie and JR sweet-talked a yacht club employee into divulging that Greg might have gone to the airport to make use of his private jet. The brothers took off.... A technician arrived to service Greg's plane. Greg stressed to him that time was of the essence.... Del came to and took a call from Di. "The jerk knocked me out with something," Del reported. "He's got his own jet." Di met up with Del in the cargo area.
Dixie raced to Zach's jail cell and begged him to help her find Greg before he takes off for good. Zach agreed to proffer his aid and dispatched some of his minions to locate the doc. "It's payback time," declared Zach. Soon, Zach got a report that Greg's private jet was scheduled to take off that evening.
With Erica still conked out on the jet, someone knocked out Greg from behind.
In New York, Jack and Reggie flipped out over Jonathan and Lily having just been pronounced husband and wife. Lily insisted that she and Jon would be together 'til death did they part and refused to speak to Jack away from her groom. Reggie warned Lily that it would be harder than she realized to enroll at MIT. Aidan tried to keep the tense situation from boiling over. Lily said she'd return to Pine Valley if Jack allowed her to live with Jon. Jack had no choice but to agree and ordered Reggie to go along with him.
Bianca urged her comatose sister to open her eyes. When that failed, Binks tried a new tactic, sharing with Kendall a fantasy vision of them sharing a day in the park with Miranda and Spike.
