At the hospital, Jeff pulled Josh and JR off of each other. When Tad, Jeff and Joe discovered JR urinated on Josh (sadly, you read it right), the gents were outraged. But as soon as JR explained the situation, Joe suspended Josh for two weeks. Josh was furious and fled the hospital, leaving the Martin boys alone. They discussed telling Josh the truth, and Jeff pointed out that while Tad and Joe promised Erica they would remain mum, he had every right to tell his son about his paternity. Meanwhile, outside of the hospital nursery, Ryan and Zach accused each other of causing Madden’s disappearance, but they both denied involvement. When discussing Madden’s misdeeds, Ryan couldn’t help but wonder if Madden used his own sample on Spike. "Don’t think it,” ordered Zach. Kendall and Ryan loved Spike, and that’s all that was important. Zach left Ryan alone to his thoughts, and Mr. Lavery proceeded to rock his little boy to sleep.

At Fusion, Babe boycotted the idea of creating a bar below their offices. When she demanded a vote, Kendall pulled out her trump card: Ryan and Bianca's proxies. The ConFusion bar was officially a go. After the vote, a bitter Kendall warned Babe that she should just give up and leave the company. "If you think this week blew, you wait until next week," she said with a glare. But Kendall's mood was instantly lifted when Zach arrived to see his wife — well, momentarily at least. She got upset again when Zach stated he didn't want to waste time talking about Babe or JR. She had a right to hate them, Kendall argued. She eventually calmed down and the duo planned to go home for the night. Meanwhile, on the Fusion rooftop, Josh surprised Babe. They started talking about Greg, and Babe asked Josh if he ever saw his father again to question where Kate was. Josh promised and the two giggled as it started to pour rain on them. JR walked in just time to see his wife (soaked in her white shirt) grinning at his enemy.

Di was surprised when she arrived at the PI office and found Aidan with Terry. When Terry demanded to know if Di had a clue where Annie was, Di replied: "If she's gone, you deserve it." Once Terry was gone, Di blasted Aidan for taking on this case, claiming that if Annie left with their daughter, it was because the situation must have been too risky. Before leaving, she assured the Brit that if she heard from her friend, she would not tell him about it. Meanwhile, Jonathan and Lily played Frisbee in the park. As a storm quickly approached, Jonathan helped ease Lily's fear of thunder. Meanwhile, creepy Terry went unnoticed as he spotted Lily once again. Also in the park, a buried alive Greg began to lose his control. He demanded to be released or his captor(s) would get no information on Kate. By the end of the episode, things went from bad to worse for the evil doc. The rain started to seep into his makeshift coffin.

As JR sat alone in the park, impressively spinning a basketball on his finger, Zach approached. Slater ordered JR not to bother his wife; in return, JR warned Zach to leave his mother alone. Zach said that because of Dixie, he was giving JR his one and only "mercy pass", which he advised him not to screw up. "Do the right thing for once, help find your sister," said Zach before departing.

Inside his coffin, Greg was jolted awake by reveille. This was followed by a boisterous marching tune. Ian found bottled water, energy bars and Josh's framed photo had been placed in the coffin. Ian's voice-disguised captor made it clear that the prisoner could live in the coffin for years and years. Reveal Kate's whereabouts, ordered the voice, repeating "now is the time" over and over again.

At the hospital, Kendall and Ryan cooed over Spike. Dr. Mayer delighted the parents with the news that the baby was now at a healthy weight. In a warm family moment, Ryan placed Spike in Kendall's arms so she could hold him for the first time. Kendall suggested that Ryan buy Zach's condo in order to be closer to the baby. Zach, who had been standing in the doorway, said it was too late because there was an offer. Kendall's was pleased when Ryan noted he's the buyer.

Julia swapped barbs with a shirtless Josh, who tauntingly flirted with her. Jamie walked in as Julia was berating Josh over kissing her. He sarcastically accused Josh of sexual harassment, much to Julia's delight. Once alone, they shared what Julia described as "salty" kisses. A steamy joint shower followed.

At Fusion, Babe was miffed to learn that her presentation had been erased. Danielle, Simone and Erin alternately mocked, insulted and ignored her. A livid Babe accused her co-workers of trying to force her out of the company. (Ya think?) Simone informed Babe that she's off the project, which is now in Erin's hands. After Babe took off, Erin was surprised by Simone's admission that she was the one who deleted Babe's computer file. In a short while, a buoyant Kendall arrived with a bottle of champagne and the news that Spike is healthy. She also had a business proposition, the ladies could open a new stylish bar that was available in the Fusion building. For a name she offered — wait for it — ConFusion. Babe walked up behind the ladies and said there was "not a chance in hell" she'd go along with this.

JR dropped by the hospital and was greeted by a smirking Josh. After some trash talk, a fistfight ensued.

In the park, Tad and Di were surprised to find each other and both questioned why the other was there. On cue, the camera panned to where Madden's body was buried. Di explained she was just taking a walk and offered to leave him alone. Surprisingly, Tad said, "Please stay." They turned their discussion to Madden and his vendetta against the Martins. Tad didn't care why Madden did what he did, he just wanted answers. "What are you going to do when you find Madden?" Di wondered. "At this point I'm so desperate I would do anything," the worried father sighed. Di sensed how upset Tad was and went to get him an uplifting corn dog. She explained to her ex that she still loved him and wanted to be there with him through this, no matter how dark it got. Tad was moved and thanked her with a kiss on the cheek, but told her he had to do it alone.

At the hospital, Erica was fretted when she walked up on Jack, Josh and Jeff. Jack didnÕt let on to Josh that Erica is his mom, but Jeff quickly figured out Jack was aware of Josh's true paternity. Once the three were alone, Jack and Erica explained what a bad seed Josh could be, and said if Jeff told him the truth, it would make things worse. Jeff told them he'd think about it and left, causing Erica to immediately hug and thank her husband. "Don't," Jack commanded and made it clear how upset he still was that Erica kept her son a secret from him. He walked out on her and headed over to the Yacht Club where he ran into Brooke. Jack convinced EricaÕs nemesis to go on a boat ride with him. Back at the hospital, Erica blamed Jeff for the damage to her marriage. Josh listened outside of the door as Erica got Jeff to agree to giving her the heads up if he decided to tell the truth.

Jonathan watched Lily sleep as she had a nightmare about her time in NYC when Terry got her drunk and tried to touch her. Jonathan tried to ease his wifeÕs fears and assured her Terry was far away now. Meanwhile, Terry showed up in Pine Valley and went to Tad and Aidan's PI office. He introduced himself to Aidan as Thompson McDermott and explained he was looking for his missing wife, Annie, and their little girl. He said he had an affair and she took off. After Aidan checked out Mr. McDermott's story with the New York police, he shared he was in Pine Valley because one of Annie's friends lived there: Di Kirby. Seems Di and Annie went to grade school together and ran into each other when Di was dating Kevin Sturges, TerryÕs old boss. After Erin entered, Aidan assured his new client heÕd help and Terry left to go back to New York. When Erin noticed the folder with Thompson McDermottÕs name on it, she was noticeably disturbed. Back at Jonathan and Lily's, they continued to discuss Terry. "He tricked me so easily, maybe anyone could," lamented Lily. (No need to tell Jonboy that!) Later, while helping Jonathan with his taxes, Lily commented on what a perfect match she and her hubby were.

On Fusion's rooftop, Kendall and Zach finally discussed Dixie. Kendall was upset that Zach kept DixieÕs secret, but Zach explained he was merely a friend of DixieÕs and just trying to help her. Kendall then wondered where Zach was the night she woke up. Zach explained that Madden was making a run for it and he wanted to find him and get info for Dixie. "Why do you always have to run and help these women in distress?" Kendall wondered. Because he could, Zach shrugged. Despite laying off JR for DixieÕs sake, Zach never wanted Kendall to doubt how much he loved her. Kendall assured her hubby she loved him, too, and he lifted her in his arms to carry her home to bed.

At the hospital, Zach probed David for details about Greg's heart condition. David made it clear that he wasn't going to give Zach ammo against Greg because he intended to take Madden down himself.... Jeff and Josh met up to discuss Josh's career. An over-sensitive Josh accused Jeff of trying to figure out if Josh is a wack job like his father. Jeff assured Josh that wasn't the case and Josh calmed down.... David asked Josh to help him help Dixie find Kate.... Zach visited Spike in the nursery and bonded with his stepson.

At the yacht club, Jack pressed Erica to tell him what was really going on with her and Jeff. "No more secrets," he begged. Erica steeled herself and prepared to tell Jack the truth. Jack reeled when Erica revealed that Josh is her son. Jack then realized that Erica had tried to kill Greg when he appeared on NEW BEGINNINGS. He grew agitated when it dawned on him that Erica had been keeping the Josh secret from him since February. Erica swore that she had had every intention of telling Jack and that she's glad he finally knew the truth. Jack's response was to walk out. He showed up at the hospital and glared in the general direction of Jeff and Josh.

Greg's captor used the voice-distortion device to torment him in his coffin. The captor played a recording from many years ago between Greg and Josh in which Josh said he wanted to be a doctor like his daddy. The captor reported to Greg that Josh was with Jeff Martin right at that moment and urged him to give up Kate's whereabouts. Greg announced that he would die before he ponied up Kate's location.

At the park, Dixie told Kendall she was thrilled to see her in such good health. Kendall asked Dixie how she got Zach to play the role of her best friend. Dixie filled Kendall in on the details of the bond she developed with Zach and assured Kendall that she had no romantic interest in her husband. Kendall understood the situation better when Dixie told her about Greg stealing Kate. After Kendall left, Del arrived and consoled a bummed-out Dixie. Del assured her that she'd get her baby back. Dixie then received a call on her cell phone from David, who said he needed to see her right away about Kate. David and Dixie convened at the park, where he reported that he had a good lead on Kate.

JR was nearly injured by toppling equipment on the Fusion rooftop. Ryan arrived on the scene and hinted that JR should be extra-careful because accidents can happen at any time. Babe and JR picked up on his not-so-subtle threat. Babe beseeched Ryan to back off JR. Ryan went back downstairs, where he encountered Kendall. He noted how worked up she was about Zach and encouraged Kendall not to repeat past unable-to-trust mistakes.... Babe told JR that she loved him and they tenderly embraced.

Kendall and Ryan joined Zach at the nursery. She pulled her husband aside for a private chat, leaving Ryan with Spike. Kendall asked Zach what was up with him and Dixie.

At the yacht club, Erica introduced Jack to Jeff. Jeff demurred that he was in town tending to family business. Jack asked Jeff what Erica wanted from him. Erica jumped in and said she wanted Jeff's forgiveness. Jack excused himself and Jeff blasted Erica for keeping her husband in the dark; Erica explained that she was trying to spare Jack pain. Jeff was stunned when Erica revealed that Josh had drugged her. Erica tried her best to persuade Jeff that it was best for Josh never to know his true biological identity. Jeff made it clear that he would do what he felt was best.... Jack reconvened with Erica and told her she was going to tell him what was going on.

Kendall dismissed JR when he claimed that Zach had been aiding and abetting Dixie. JR shrugged that Kendall should go directly to her hubby. The Fusion gals tried to get JR to leave. JR argued for the ladies to stop giving Babe trouble, but his pleas were ignored.... Simone realized that Kendall thought JR might be telling the truth about Zach.... JR and Babe went up to the roof and he encouraged her to leave Fusion, but she refused, citing her love of a challenge. Babe told JR that she was working toward forgiving him.... Zach showed up at Fusion and Kendall didn't reveal JR's claims to him, making for a somewhat strained interaction.... Something heavy fell from the Fusion roof, possibly injuring JR.

Through a window, Josh watched Jamie and Julia getting hot and heavy in the hospital break room. He summoned Joe in the hopes of having Joe nab the lovebirds in a compromising position, but they were able to cover in time. Jamie and Julia separated and returned to work. Josh ordered Jamie to stay away from Julia and Jamie ordered Josh to butt out. Joe put the kibosh on their escalating bickering.... Julia arranged for some uninterrupted private time with Jamie; they picked up where they'd left off earlier. Alas, the sign she'd put up declaring the room off-limits toppled over, leaving them vulnerable to discovery...

In the park, where Tad encountered Zach and Dixie, Tad pressed Zach to agree not to seek revenge against JR. Zach gave his word. Tad accepted Zach's offer to keep helping them track down Kate. After Zach left, Tad asked Dixie about a man named Ian: Had he been more than her platonic friend? Dix was offended that Tad had been investigating her, but confirmed that she and Ian had been romantically involved. Tad denied feeling hurt, then warned Dixie that once he recovered Kate, the girl would be staying in Pine Valley with him. When Dixie turned around, Kendall was waiting for her.

Greg remained trapped in his shallow grave.
