Josh attacked JR in the park, accusing him of trapping him in the meat locker. JR played dumb. Babe, meanwhile, pounded on the door of the meat locker, where she was stuck inside. JR came to her rescue after learning from Josh that Babe had been at the locker. Apologizing profusely, JR took Babe home and tried to warm her up. He assured her that he would rely on less illegal methods to track down his sister. Babe rewarded JR with a kiss. He pulled away in case she wasn't ready but she told him that she wanted him to stay, she was just afraid that she wouldn't be able to forget the whole he-tried-to-kill-her thing. He understood her feelings and vowed to make amends. After some hesitation, she stroked his face and pulled him into bed with her.

At the beach, Julia caught Jamie emerging naked from a swimming session. He told her about hanging Josh on the meat hook and she burst out laughing. Jamie then confessed to Julia that he was surprising himself with his own dark side, that he'd only recently become aware of what he was capable of. Julia assured Jamie that he wasn't alone, reminding Jamie that she had snubbed out Noah's killer. They discussed their mutual desire to see the senior Dr. Madden suffer, then launched into a make-out session.

Kendall joined Zach for a celebration dinner at the casino. When Kendall spotted Dixie, she and Zach sidled up and asked her what was new. Dixie sighed that nothing was, and she would go to her grave not knowing where to find Kate. Zach tried to buoy her spirits, to no avail. Kendall also encouraged Dixie to keep hope alive. Tad then arrived and asked Dixie what the hell she thought she was doing drinking alcohol. She told him to leave her alone. Di spied their confrontation from the edges of the room. Dix summoned her over and as she and Tad continued to exchange heated words, Zach intervened and told them to take the fireworks display elsewhere. Before Tad dragged her out of the place, Josh ran across them and spat that he had no idea where his father was. Kendall reminded Zach that whatever is going on with Tad and Dixie is none of their business; they returned to the business of celebrating his freedom, although Dixie remained a topic of conversation.... In Dix's room, Tad continued to read Dixie the riot act for risking her health by drinking and for relying so heavily on Zach. Tad insisted to Dixie that he did want their child, he just wasn't willing to choose their baby's life over hers. "It was just about loving you," he said. Tad and Dixie melted into a passionate kiss.

Di encountered Aidan at the casino bar and she berated him for causing trouble. He told her to back off; he was just there for a drink. Di apologized and asked where Erin was. He reported that Erin had broken up with him. She was stunned and offered to pay for his drink.

Greg's coffin filled with water and the doc freaked out. "Stop this lunacy!" he cried. "Something's happening," he realized seconds later. His theory was that his captor had discovered Kate and now considered him expendable. Greg's panic increased when he felt a suspicious movement. "Get me out of here!" he bellowed. "I'll do whatever you want! I'll tell you where the child is!" The tremors he felt, which were also experienced elsewhere in town, began to intensify, sending more and more water into Greg's coffin.

Kendall decided to order what drink the next time she hit the casino bar?

At his PI office, Aidan was making some calls trying to locate Terry's wife. Ryan arrived to dig around about his breakup with Erin. Aidan couldn't help him because he was just as confused as Ryan. Before they could discuss it anymore, Aidan got a phone call with a lead on a case and left. He asked Ryan if he could stay and wait on him; Ryan agreed. While waiting, Dixie showed up looking for Tad. She wasn't too disappointed when he wasn't there because she claimed Tad hated the sight of her. "For what it's worth, I like looking at you," smiled Ryan. They duo bonded over the fact they both faked being dead and at the end of the episode, Ryan gave Dixie a comforting hug. Meanwhile, Erin was at a motel meeting with a mystery person. When leaving the room, she ran into Jamal (Welcome back to Pine Valley!), who gave her advice on what she was doing there. One problem: a good detective could find "them" in a hotel. "Thompson hired a detective," sighed Erin. "A really good one." Later, Aidan showed up at the hotel and was surprised to find Erin there. Apparently, one of his men spotted someone who looked like his client's wife there. Erin said she had no clue what he was talking about; she was there to clear her head. Aidan assured her that she could have all the time she needed and when she was ready to come back to him, he'd be there. He sealed the deal with a hot kiss. Erin pulled away once they were on the bed and demanded he leave.

At the courthouse, Kendall was more than pleased when the judge dismissed the charges against Zach. Derek accused Zach of bribing the judge. "Did you bribe the guy or not?" Kendall asked when she was alone with her hubby. Not exactly. He simply made a contribution to his re-election fund, Zach smiled. He didn't tell her because then he would have missed her great speech on the stand about what a great guy he was. They laughed and headed home. Over at the Yacht Club, Erica was furious with Jack. Mr. Montgomery didn't feel he owed Erica an explanation, but Brooke had to offer up something. She tried to tell La Kane that nothing at all happened between them. The yacht simply malfunctioned. When Jack and Erica were finally alone, she asked: "Were in trouble, aren't we?" Yup, said Jack. At the music store, Jonathan and Lily (complete with sunglasses and earmuffs) unsuccessfully tried to get jobs. The clerk called them "mutards" (which infuriated regular Jonathan) and threw their application away. Once they left, creepy Terry (who had been following them) came in and got the application out of the trash.

Babe demanded JR tell her the truth — he owed her that much. JR agreed: "The only way Greg Madden is ever going to tell us what he did with Kate is if he's freaked within an inch of his life." Some explanation went on between the three during a commercial break and the next thing we know, Babe (who is grateful JR and Jamie did their crime anonymously) was off to handle what JR and Jamie had done. She ended up finding Josh almost frozen to death, hanging in a cooler. When Josh immediately assumed it was JR and Jamie and bad-mouthed them, Babe stopped her rescue attempt. "A place like this suits a meathead like you just fine." She finally let him down and tried to convince Josh her hubby and ex-lover weren't behind this. Back in the park, the boys lamented that Josh was probably already down. But JR cryptically told Jamie not to sound defeated about getting info from Madden. "Don't worry, it's not over." Jamie told JR to watch out. Babe already freaked out over what they did to Josh and he'd lose her if he kept "this" up. Back in the cooler, Babe continued to defend the boys, causing Josh to walk out, furious. Babe turned her back for a moment and the door accidentally closed. Now she's locked in the freezer. (See what happens when you try to do a good deed in Pine Valley?)

Basking in the sun at the Yacht Club, a shirtless Josh and Jamie began to fight over what Greg did to Kate. When it turned physical, Jeff and Erica broke it up. Jeff tried to give Josh some "fatherly" advice, but Josh didn't want to hear anything from another Martin and walked away. "Have you noticed the more you try to interfere with Josh's life the more screwed up he gets?" Erica asked, and pointed out that by suspending Josh from his program, Jeff was playing disciplinarian and father. Yeah, well, when Erica defended Josh's actions again JR, she was acting motherly, so said Jeff. She admitted he had a point, but still couldn't tell Josh he was her son — for the boy's sake. Plus, she had to think about the rest of her family. After some more harsh words for her ex, Erica dismissed him and then learned Jack had been out on their yacht all night long. Things went from bad to worse for La Kane when Jack arrived...with Brooke right behind him.

At Fusion, Babe was deep in thought over ideas for her new campaign. When it looked like she was about to give up, JR arrived to give her inspiration. They put their brains together and developed Babe's presentation and the blonde was obviously thankful. Their "moment" was interrupted when Jamie, who needed to speak to JR privately, arrived. "It's time to step up our game," Jamie told his brother. "If we don't crack him, we don't get answers." JR agreed, kissed his wife on the cheek and left with Jamie, leaving Babe very curious. The brothers ended up in the park, right by where Madden was buried. "Are you sure he doesn't know we did it?" JR asked. Not with his list of enemies, claimed Jamie. Then Babe walked up and demanded to know what was going on.

In the hospital nursery, Ryan was bonding with his absolutely adorable son when Julia came over. When the question of Spike's paternity came up, Julia wondered if Madden could be the father. "I can do the test if you want to know for sure," Julia offered. Ryan didn't want a paternity test, though. Spike was his son no matter what biology said. Back at Ryan's home, Aidan went to see Erin and she was understandably upset. She had told him only the day before that she needed time and space. Now she took it to the next level and officially broke up with him. She loved what they had, but she wasn't ready for that kind of commitment. When Aidan kept pushing her for a more solid reason, she demanded he leave and stay away from her. Ryan arrived just as Aidan was leaving and wondered what the heck was going on. When Erin told him she split with Aidan, Ryan comforted his baby sister and was curious when Erin told him there were more important things than love.

After a night of lovemaking, Kendall woke up to finding out her dearly beloved was due in court that day and she hadn't heard anything about it. She was upset, but more so over the fact that Zach could easily go to jail. "No one is taking me away," Zach promised. He told her to go have lunch with Spike and he'd take care of the situation. But when has Kendall ever done what she was told? In court, she arrived, much to Zach's surprise, and testified in defense of her husband. He was only carrying out her wishes. The DA pointed out that may be true, but he still put many innocent lives in danger. By the end of the episode the judge had decided if the case was strong enough to go to trial, but in classic soap fashion, will not be announcing that decision until tomorrow.

JR and Babe arrived home in time to break up a physical fight between their married 'rents. Krystal was adamant about attempted-murderer JR moving out of the mansion, and Adam was not. Babe assured her mom that wasn't necessary and informed her of JR's sentiment before his trial. Adam freaked when Babe announced JR had signed over his Chandler shares to her. Krystal, however, was delighted. Now she, Babe and Little Adam could high-tail it out of there. Then she realized this could mean danger to her daughter. To try and assure his mother-in-law that Babe wasn't in danger, JR offered to give the rights to Krystal instead. Babe was moved, and she and JR walked hand-in-hand upstairs. Meanwhile, a still-upset Krystal informed her husband that'd he'd be sleeping alone.

In the park, Greg got so desperate and frightened that he offered to tell his captor about Kate if he was set free. Completely losing his cool, the evil doc even hallucinated his release. But alas, he's still buried alive. Meanwhile, above ground, Erin promised to keep her brother's secret, but after she left, Amanda surfaced and revealed she overhead the truth. She began berating Jonathan and assured him she would not keep his secret. Jonathan managed to calm her down long enough to explain how he came to be "normal" again. Normal = "A serial killer!" pointed out Amanda. Jonathan swore that was because of the brain tumor and he was truly normal now. He was just protecting Lily. He cared about her too much to hurt her. When Lily walked up on the two, Amanda kept mum, but assured Jonboy if he EVER hurt Lily, he'd answer to her. And that's a threat coming from "Janet from another Planet's" daughter!

After Dixie and David parted from their kisses, Dixie claimed he was taking advantage of her. Nada, David said. In his eyes, she was taking advantage of him. She knew she was his weakness. Dixie smiled as he cupped her cheek, but before any further making out could ensue, "room service" knocked on the door. One problem: there was no room service at the motel. It was Tad. Feigning ignorance, he had Dixie fill him in on the "lead" David had. Tad immediately called the family in question then informed Dixie that unfortunately the child was too old to be theirs — and the family had already told David that. When he let it slip that he knew about this prior to coming to the hotel, Dixie was just as angry with him as with David. She berated Tad, then walked out on both men.

At Fusion, Zach and Kendall continued to discuss Dixie. Kendall informed her hubby even back in kindergarten she didn't share well with others — and still doesn't. She wanted him to pick up a new hobby and drop the one where he saves any female in need of saving. She wanted to tell him that if he ever talked to Dixie again, she'd leave, but she couldn't. She was acting like a high schooler and she knew it. It was time for her to grow up. Zach silenced her rambling by taking her hand and putting wedding bands in it. Kendall was beyond moved when she saw the inscription read, "Always, only you." He knew her too well. After reciting private vows again, the happy couple went home and made sweet love. (Boy, Kendall sure recovered from that C-section quickly.)

On the Fusion roof, JR was obviously upset to find Josh with Babe. There was no public urination, but harsh words were exchanged between Josh and JR. After Josh left, Babe had a heart-to-heart with her hubby. JR hated Josh, but he assured his wife he wasn't jealous. He trusted Babe with his entire life and that moved Babe enough to let the man who tried to kill her kiss her. Meanwhile, inside, before they could leave Fusion, Kendall and Zach were surprised when Tad arrived and demanded to know where Dixie was. Zach told Tad Dixie was following a lead on a child up in Scarsdale, New York. Tad already knew that was a dead end and worried about Dixie's well-being. Zach didn't know where she got the lead from, but lucky for them, Josh retreated from the roof at the right moment and had the answer: David. Then Josh dropped another bombshell. He told Kendall, Tad and Zach that David knew good and well the child he and Dixie were looking for wasn't Kate. Tad immediately jetted off. When Josh left as well, Zach put in a call to someone to find Dixie and David, which didn't please his wife. Zach told Kendall he cared about Dixie and wondered if that was a problem. "I don't know. Is it?" she countered.

Following a "lead," David and Dixie (who has graduated from her all-black wardrobe) parked for the night in a motel. When David promised his ex-lover he'd find Kate, she couldn't help but wonder why he was doing this. "Why don't you hate me?" she asked. Simple. David claimed he loved her. "I'm an idiot when it comes to you," he marveled. (At least he knows it.) Dixie still couldn't understand why he wanted to help her. David explained he knew the pain of losing a child. Dixie clued him in that she was with another man in Europe. Did he still want to help? Unlike Tad, David was grateful she had someone there to help her and this obviously touched Dixie. She broke down in tears as he manipulated her vulnerable state, letting her know he understood her decisions. The manipulation seemed to work, though, because at the end of the episode, the duo was kissing on the bed.

Erin greeted Aidan with a kiss and proceeded to break up with him, citing that she was too busy with Spike, The Miranda Center, Fusion and Jonathan/Lily for their relationship. Aidan was understandably confused as his love walked out on him. Lily almost caught Terry spying on her in the park, but Amanda served as a distraction and he fled unseen. Lily got jealous when Amanda kissed Jonathan on the cheek, but she quickly got over it and the three became "second-best friends." As a second best friend, Amanda wanted to throw them an impromptu wedding celebration. Erin wondered over and had to speak with Jonathan before he could head off. Lily and Amanda went to wait in the car and special Jonathan morphed immediately back into regular Jonathan for his sister. He went on about how happy Lily was and how much that meant to him, but soon noticed his sister wasn't as happy. She told him she broke up with Aidan and while regular Jonathan comforted Erin, a shocked Amanda spied on them. Underground in the same park, Dr. Madden panicked when water continued to seep into his makeshift coffin.
