On the island, Josh told Babe that he loves her. She told him not to tell her that and reminded Josh that she is in love with her husband. Josh and Babe continued to bond as they discussed his childhood. Babe opened up to Josh about JR's emotional unavailability. Josh sighed, "Do you know what I'd do to be the man you loved?" He expressed his desire to kiss her. "So kiss me," she invited. He did.

Erica wiggled out of Jeff's arms and raced into Jack's when he showed up at the beach. Jeff excused himself so give the Montgomerys some privacy. Erica wept to Jack about how helpless she felt to help Josh, how she had failed as a mother. Jack assured Erica that she is a fiercely loving mom.

Tad encountered a devastated Krystal at the Chandler manse. She asked him if he could do for her what she had done for him: Give him hope in the face of a seemingly hopeless situation. Tad told Krystal that Zach and Dixie are in jail for killing Greg. Krystal asked if Tad knew who the real culprit was. Something Krystal said gave Tad an idea. He kissed her quickly and bolted.

At the prison, Kendall had a negative reaction to spying Zach comforting Dixie. She asked her hubby point-blank if he killed Zach and also requested that he explain away the evidence against him and Dixie. Zach asked Kendall to believe that he's innocent. She said she did. After Kendall left, Dixie sighed, "We're dead." She was panicked over the heavy evidence against them.

Kendall tried to persuade Aidan to take her case and prove that Zach is innocent. Tad told Aidan he wants to handle the matter. "Go home," he told Kendall. "Leave it be." She was shocked by his refusal to take her case. Tad told Kendall that Zach and Dixie are guilty.

On the yacht, Jamie and Julia tried to calm a guilt-ridden JR as he beat himself up over how his actions have jeopardized Babe. As Jamie looked on, Julia told JR all about her horrible experience with Greg Madden and tried to encourage JR to keep the faith. JR then spotted something in the water that was encouraging....

At Kendall's condo, Ryan and Kendall tried to encourage Erica to have hope that Josh survived the plane crash. After Ryan left, Erica and Kendall bonded as they discussed their missing family member.

Derek insisted to Tad that Dixie and Zach were guilty; Tad leapt to his ex-wife's defense. Tad joined Adam and David elsewhere in the police station and Tad tried to goad David into confessing his own guilt in Greg's murder to Derek. David thanked Tad for the idea. Derek and Ryan joined the group, followed by Livia, and Derek revealed that fibers and a fingerprint were what linked Zach and Dixie to Greg's death. Livia demanded that her clients be released.

When Ryan called Kendall, he reported that he isn't 100 percent sure when Zach would be a free man. Kendall told Erica that Zach had nothing to do with Greg's demise. Erica bolted from the condo, claiming she needed to do something to help Josh. Kendall left shortly thereafter.

Derek revealed that new forensic evidence had come to light: Greg's blood was found in Dixie's car. Kendall came into the room and threatened to sue the police station unless they let her husband go.... David flipped when he learned that Babe is missing.

In their jail cells, Zach and Dixie tried to figure out what evidence Derek could possibly have to tie them to Greg's murder. Zach was convinced they were being framed. Dixie then tried to get Zach to ease up on JR, but Zach was determined to make JR pay for hurting Kendall. "Everybody was better off with me dead," lamented Dixie. Zach hugged her through the bars and kissed the top of her head — just as Tad and Kendall walked in.

Erin and Aidan had a testy conversation about his liaison with Di and her make-out session with Jamal. He was unmoved when she noted that she only kissed Jamal for show, pointing out that it was unfair of her to have expected him to wait around when she hadn't trusted him with the truth about Annie. Erin softened when Aidan divulged that he was still in love with her when he slept with Di. "I don't know how I feel about you anymore, Erin," said Aidan. Erin shot back that he would have broken her heart eventually. When she tried to go, he begged her not to. She cried that she didn't understand how he could be with Di if he loved her. Before long, their tones became cross again, and Aidan ended up storming out.

On the rocky island where they she had washed ashore with Josh, Babe grew weary of Josh's sarcastic avoidance of his feelings. When she expressed her frustration with the tendency of men to shut down about their emotions, he encouraged her to scream out loud and joined in her holler-fest. Josh then told Babe that he still didn't want to be found. She chuckled that he was a Kane through-and-through. Josh asked Babe to tell her about Bianca and Babe sang Binks's praises. When Josh compared Babe to Bianca, Babe assured him that she had a long way to go before that comparison was apt. Josh told Babe that somewhere along the way, he had fallen in love with her.

Erica showed up at the beach where the search for Josh continued. Jeff was already there. Jeff lamented to Erica that Josh never got to know him as a father. "You will have a chance," Erica declared. "And so will I." Jeff put his arm around Erica.

In Ryan's office, Ryan startled Annie but assured the worried mom she was safe. Annie's spirit's were immediately lifted when Erin surprised her with a visit from Emma. But while the girls were playing, Aidan arrived to see the woman he had been looking for (Annie) and the reason he couldn't find her (Erin). Annie eventually left to take Emma to the Miranda Center so that Erin and Aidan could have some time alone. Aidan told his ex how disappointed he was that she couldn't trust him. Trust wasn't a smart thing for Aidan to bring up, though, because Erin immediately wanted to know why the Brit only waited 10 seconds before sleeping with someone else. Meanwhile, at the Yacht Club, Colby and Sydney (who were fast pals yesterday) quickly became enemies when Colby realized Sydney was Winifred's niece.

On the shore (yup, still the one in PA), everyone was stunned when Derek arrested Dixie for Madden's murder. JR was beside himself with worry over Babe and now Dixie, but his dad and Krystal assured him everything would be okay. Later, Julia, JR and Jamie decided to search for the missing duo on their own. Elsewhere, Josh and Babe washed up on the beach. They were alive, but Babe was furious. "You could have killed me!" she lamented. "And now I'm going to kill you." Josh apologized for their plane crash, but while Babe clung to hope that they'd be rescued, Josh didn't care. He didn't want to go back to Pine Valley. He was stranded on the island with the one person he cared about. Babe was touched, but she had to get back to her mother, son and, oh yeah, her husband. Later, Josh comforted a distressed Babe by putting his arm around her and making googly eyes.

At their home, Zach realized Kendall was upset with him. After a little baby talk and a lot of romancing, Zach finally got through to his wife. "Why do I love you so much?" she sighed. That's easy: "Because I'm the luckiest man alive." Sadly, they didn't have a chance to continue with the romance because Derek arrived at the condo to arrest Zach next. Ryan showed up and tried to assure Kendall the cops wouldn't be able to hold Zach for long. Kendall, however, wasn't so sure. "What if Zach really killed Greg Madden?" she wondered. At the police station, Tad got upset when Dixie didn't welcome his interrogation or seem to want his help. "Do you want to know why I don't come to you?" she asked. "Because all you end up doing is judging me and attacking me." Before the two could continue their heated powwow, Dixie was escorted to her cell. Zach was then placed in an adjoining cell next to Dixie's. (Isn't that convenient?) "Now what do we do?" she asked. Out in the station, Adam arrived and wondered how things looked for Dixie. "This one's bad," Tad sighed and advised Adam to bring in every contact he had.

At ConFusion, Jonathan told Amanda that he had to get Lily out of Pine Valley in order to keep her calm.... Lily and Jamal bonded at the ConFusion bar.... When Lily rejoined Amanda and Jon, he put in a plug for them to move to Boston.

Colby soaked up the sun at the yacht club and chatted up the blonde in the chaise next to her. The gals' common bond? Boy-craziness. Their easy rapport was disturbed when the newbie, Sydney, tried to make a charge on the Chandlers' card. As Colby confronted her, they were interrupted by Winifred, who revealed to Colby that Sydney was her niece, and would be staying at the mansion for the summer.

Livia warned Jack that no one, herself included, would forgive him if he went through with his plan to keep Lily away from Jonathan permanently. "This is ugly stuff," sighed Livia. Jack said he was aware of that, but had no other options. He relayed to Livia that Jonathan was faking his "whole simpleton routine." Later, Livia went to ConFusion, where she was very much surprised to find her son, Jamal. Jamal, Lily and Amanda spoke passionately to Livia of the sincerity of Jonathan's love for Lily.... Jack and Jon had an encounter at the courthouse. Jack made it clear to Jon that he didn't buy his act for a second. Jonathan warned Jack that if he kept pressing the situation, he might lose his daughter for good.... Jack told Livia that he filed the petition to have Lily declared mentally incompetent.

At the airport, Erica, Jeff, Adam, Tad, Krystal and JR reeled from the news that Josh's plane had gone down with Babe on board.

On the beach, Jamie expressed to Julia that he didn't care if Josh's possible plane crash proved to be fatal to his new cousin. They were joined by JR, Adam, Tad, Dixie, Erica, Jeff, Krystal and Adam, who knew the wreckage of Josh's plane was visible from the shore and were there in the hopes of finding survivors. Erica invited Jeff to tell her "I told you so." Jeff blamed himself for Josh's possible demise.... Dixie reported to Tad, JR and Jamie that she had scoured Greg's office in Philadelphia and might have found a picture of Kate.... Derek showed up and announced that he was there to arrest someone for Greg's murder.

Ryan came home to find Erin and Annie celebrating the fact that Terry is no longer a threat to Annie — they were under the impression that Terry is in Ireland. Ryan cautioned them that Annie isn't safe yet. Ryan brought in Livia to consult with Annie and Erin was upset when Livia broke the news that their case against Terry wasn't strong enough. Ryan vowed not to rest until Terry was behind bars. Once alone, Ryan promised Annie that he would help her rebuild her life. He offered her a job in corporate communications at Cambias. She accepted.

Jack came to visit Lily at ConFusion and urged her to take a seat. He prepared to tell her the truth about Jonathan but Lily rushed to her husband's defense. Jon heard the tail end of Lily's speech and joined in the conversation, but Jack persevered, telling Lily that the Jon she loved doesn't exist. Lily became agitated and tried to block out her father's words. Jack challenged Jon to tell Lily who he really is. Lily was confused when Jack reported that he'd heard Jon use big words ("concerted effort") but dismissed Jack's claim as false. "Jonathan wouldn't lie to me, Dad," Lily insisted. Amanda listened from the back of the room as Jack begged Jon to come clean with Lily. Jon didn't have the heart to let Lily know that he'd tricked her and Amanda made it easier by defending Jon to Jack. Jack lost his temper when Erin arrived and screamed at Jon and Erin for duping Lily. Lily remained distraught even after Jack left; Jon, Erin and Amanda felt awful.... Jack met with Livia and said that although Lily might hate him, he knows what he had to do....

Jeff, Tad and Erica were pensive as they tried to figure out where Josh went. Tad realized that Josh likely took Greg's private plane and phoned the airport for confirmation. He was informed that the plane had fallen off the radar; Jeff and Erica grew pale. The threesome headed out.

JR was frantic as he tried to track down Babe and Josh. JR was disbelieving when he got word that the plane was missing and summoned Krystal, who was semi-hysterical at the thought that her baby girl might be gone forever and felt responsible, since she pressed JR to broadcast the CD that sent Babe in Josh's direction. When Erica showed up with Jeff and Tad, JR blasted her for the situation her son got Babe into. As luck would have it, Erica blamed Babe for Josh's predicament. The group's squabbling was put on hold as they were informed by an airport staffer that some wreckage from Josh's plane had been recovered.

Joe interrupted a romantic moment between Jamie and Julia at the hospital. Joe confronted Jamie about whether he had known what JR intended to do at the ConFusion opening. Jamie defended JR's behavior and railed at Joe for having sided with Josh against Julia. The confrontation grew so heated that Jamie said he quit. Joe gave Julia the rest of the day off in the hopes that she could calm Jamie down. Julia and Jamie hit the beach and spotted something suspicious in the water. With the aid of binoculars, Julia was able to discern that the object was part of an airplane. "I know whose plane this is!" she gasped.
