When Erica arrived at Kendall's condo and spotted Zach with Spike, she freaked. She even called the police, but Zach hung up on them and explained to La Kane that he and her daughter had reconciled. Zach pointed out that he and Erica were more alike than she realized. They both loved Spike and Kendall more than life. When the police arrived to question the phone call, Erica sent them away. Zach had finally gotten through to her.

At Fusion, Babe assured Kendall that Josh knew it was over between them. "You're as dumb as a box of rocks!" Kendall lamented. She couldn't understand why Babe would chose JR over Josh. Then she just sighed and remembered she chose Zach. The gals discussed the pros and cons of loving a bad boy. When it looked like they were finally getting along, Kendall discovered Josh quit Fusion because of Babe and she was furious. Meanwhile, Bianca went to see Josh and Josh informed her that he was Greg Madden's sole beneficiary. "A clever man could use this to smash JR Chandler into oblivion. And I'm a very clever man." Binks warned Josh not to do that to Babe. After a heart-to-heart, Josh decided to donate the money to the Miranda Center.

Tad was shocked when David told him Krystal was preggers. And when conversation turned to Kate, Tad saw red. David told his enemy he hoped Tad never got his hands on Kate. He wanted Tad to have a life without his daughter — like he would without Leora. Later, Tad got Julia to help him look up Emma's DNA. Julia confirmed David's findings. According to the DNA, Tad was the proud papa. Meanwhile, during the CVS procedure, Krystal and Adam were awed over seeing their child's sonogram. Once they got Krystal to a room, she and Adam shared tears over a proposed name for the baby: Charlotte, after Adam's sister. After Adam left to get cheesy fries for the expecting mother, Tad walked in and asked Krystal the loaded question: "Is the baby mine?" Meanwhile, dastardly doc Hayward managed to get Krystal's test results in his hands.

Ryan found Annie with Jonathan in the cabin where Jon shot Terry. Jonathan refused to let Ryan take Annie and Emma back to Pine Valley. He was worried for them. Ryan promised his bro he'd take care of everything (including Jonathan's difficulties accepting he killed Terry) and Jon believed him. Once alone with Annie, Ryan wondered, "What is it that you're not telling me?" It took a while, but Ryan finally got Annie to open up and tell the truth. "If I take that test, my DNA won't match Emma's," Annie admitted.

Thursday October 19, 2006
At the beach, Jamie spied Josh kissing a very surprised Julia. Unfortunately, James ran off before hearing Julia call Josh an "arrogant SOB." Later, Julia and Josh discussed their love woes, but Josh didn't let on that Babe was his mystery woman. Over at Fusion, Bianca wondered who Babe intended to hurt: Josh or JR? As Babe told the story of how she and Josh connected, it hit Binks that Babe was really in love with Josh. Babe nodded, but stuck to her guns. She had to stay with JR and her family. Binks worried about her brother, but Babe assured her that Josh was strong. However, she did urge Bianca to stay in town so she could be there for him.

After taunting JR by mentioning Josh and Babe, David dropped a bomb: He found Kate. Meanwhile, at Tad and Aidan's PI office, Di was less than pleased to see Tad, but listened to him when it was announced Emma might be Kate. Di seriously doubted Annie could lie about something that big. Tad was defeated, uncertain if he'd ever get Kate back. Di left after Tad had a mini-breakdown, leaving Aidan to calm his pal down. When JR arrived, the young Chandler went off on his stepfather, assuming Tad let Dixie believe David's lies about Emma/Kate. How could he do that after almost sending her to prison? When Jamie walked in, he calmed JR down and told him to "connect the dots." Aidan and Jamie then clued JR in on how Tad saved Dixie from prison. JR apologized to Tad for thinking he could hurt his mom like that. After Tad left, JR turned to Jamie. "Is the person who killed Greg Madden who I think it is?" he wondered. Jamie simply nodded. The brothers vowed to look after Tad.

Krystal was hesitant about taking a test that would determine if her baby would have any problems. "I'll love her or him no matter what," Krystal declared and then asked Adam if he felt the same. He excused himself. Once Adam returned, he gave a poignant speech to his wife about growing up with a special needs brother. The world was a better place because of Stuart, and Adam was certain he'd love his new child — no matter what. Krystal was obviously touched. When Adam went to see if the doctor was ready, David approached the expecting Krystal. "How does Tad feel about the happy news?" he grinned. He didn't know, replied Krystal. Later, while with the doctor, Krystal balked and said she'd prefer to not know if anything were wrong with the baby. After some words of wisdom from the doc, Krystal changed her mind. The parents-to-be went off to do the procedure. Meanwhile, Tad showed up at the hospital and David announced Krystal's pregnancy to him.

When Ryan arrived at Kendall's condo, he was surprised to see Zach walk out of the bedroom. Kendall explained her reconciliation to an obviously disappointed Ryan. After Kendall left, Ryan and Zach shared a one-on-one. Zach eventually apologized to him for blaming Ryan for his Kendall troubles. Chatter quickly turned to Dixie. Kendall eavesdropped as Ryan warned Zach to forget about Dixie and Emma. Let Tad take care of Dixie. "For the record," Zach noted, "Dixie was never a threat to Kendall." After Ryan walked away, Zach smiled, "Did you hear that, Kendall?" he said knowingly. She walked out and called him on the fact that he didn't promise to stay away from Dixie. He assured her that, "From now on it's only you. Always, only you." Alone, Ryan flashed back to happy times with Kendall before he received a phone call about Annie.

Bianca was appalled when she spotted her mother leaving Jeff's hotel room. She assumed her mom was having an affair, which Erica quickly assured her she was not. When Erica stated she didn't spend the night with Jeff, Bianca noticed her mom was blushing. "Do you really think I would cheat on Jack?!" Erica dramatically sighed. Talk then turned to why Binks was even in Pine Valley. "I wanted to get to know Josh," shrugged Bianca. Erica pointed out she needed to get away, too, just like Bianca had. After Erica apologized to Binks for getting off on the wrong foot, the duo walked out into the hall where they ran into Josh. The male Kane blasted his mother for moving into the hotel and then walked off.

At the Chandler mansion, it was happiness all around for JR, Babe, Little Adam, Krystal and Big Adam. After the boys left for breakfast, Babe told her Momma that she called it quits with Josh. She was with her family and she was happy to be there. Meanwhile, Adam advised his son to get Babe pregnant.... On the Fusion roof, David told Josh to fight for his daughter. When Josh later walked downstairs, he ran into Babe (now at work) and Simone. After locking eyes with his lover, Josh announced he couldn't work there and left. Simone blamed Babe. Later, Binks arrived at Fusion to talk to Babe about Josh. Meanwhile, David visited the Chandler mansion and told Krystal he knew about Babe's affair. Krystal denied it, but conversation quickly turned to the bun in Krystal's oven. David wondered aloud who the father could be. Before leaving the mansion, David got JR alone. There was something he needed to tell him. (Uh-oh.)

Over at the fabulous beach in land-locked Pine Valley, Jamie ran into Julia. They duo shared some super-awkward conversation which ended as soon as Jamie's new gal arrived. Julia was obviously upset. Later, she was surprised by a male visitor who she assumed was Jamie. Instead, it was Josh.

When Kendall arrived at Zach's office, she wasn't entirely sure why she was there. Zach had the answer though: "Because you belong with me." She tried to protest, but indeed, she loved him and there was nothing that could be done about it, no matter how hard she tried. "I can't live without you, Zach. I don't want to." With that, the fan-favorite duo go their Zen on and shared a heated kiss. Zach lifted his damsel into his arms and carried her all the way to bed. Yes, some Zex (Zendall sex, of course) followed. While basking in the afterglow, Kendall pulled out the divorce papers and the two tore them up together.

Ryan and Tad discovered that Emma and Annie were missing from the penthouse. "If Emma is my daughter, it means I've lost her all over again — because of you," Tad pointed out. Between Emma's birth certificate and Annie fleeing, Tad was beginning to really believe Emma could be Kate. Jon arrived and told them about David's DNA ramblings and mentioned he could be the reason Annie took off. Later, while alone with his brother, Jon claimed he had no idea where Annie was. Meanwhile, at BJ's, David rescued Colby when she was having issues with the check. Colby didn't know it, but she paid him back by informing him of a few secrets floating around Chandler mansion: a). Babe and Josh had an affair, b). Krystal had a secret with Tad that Dixie knew about, and c). Krystal was preggers. Later, Tad arrived at BJ's and informed David that Emma was gone. The grown men blamed each other for the predicament.

Erica visited Jeff to discuss their son. She was outraged that Jeff encouraged Josh to go after Babe. Would he himself go after a married woman? Erica wondered. Well, if he thought he could make her happier than her husband, Jeff responded.... Meanwhile, at the Chandler mansion, Babe told her momma how she had just dodged a bullet. "Now you don't have to tell JR you slept with Josh," Krystal said with relief. Meanwhile, out in the foyer, Adam and JR were surprised when Josh arrived. Josh found out he was cleared and immediately assumed Babe spilled about the affair, but Babe and Krystal entered in time to ensure the secret remained a secret. JR made certain Josh knew he and Babe were as close as ever and Josh left. Later, Babe found Josh on the Fusion rooftop. After the cheating Babe shared a few kisses with Josh, she told her lover it was over between them. After leaving Josh, Babe returned to her hubby. "I love you so much," she smiled and proclaimed her current happiness. Cut to Josh still on the roof, where the happiness obviously ended.

At the Chandler mansion, Babe got JR alone to tell him the truth about Josh. When she started discussing the problems they were having, JR furrowed his brow and wondered, "Are you ending our marriage?" After a little interruption by the adorable Little Adam, they got back to their conversation. JR didn't allow Babe to talk, so she remained mum about the affair. Instead, JR called Colby, Adam and Krystal into the room. He had an announcement to make: "Josh never touched Colby. It was a lie." JR exposed Colby as a liar and the young blonde was furious she was outed while Babe's secret remained in tact. JR turned to his wife and took her hands, hoping she'd let him be the husband she needed now. "No more Josh...let me be the man you deserve." Babe responded by hugging her husband, vowing to make their marriage work for good this time. Later, Adam called Derek to drop the charges. When Josh found out, he feared for Babe's well-being.

At Fusion, the Kane family had a powwow about Kendall's love life. Kendall was wallowing about Zach signing the divorce papers but Bianca kindly reminded her sis that she served him with the papers. Meanwhile, Erica consoled her daughter then grinned about how all of her children were there together. She told Josh he could bring a guest to her upcoming New Beginnings party and wasn't pleased when he suggested Babe. Meanwhile, Kendall kept to herself and couldn't get Zach out of her mind, no matter how hard she tried. Meanwhile, in Zach's office, Dixie told her pal she found Kate. With David Hayward's involvement, Zach was more than skeptical. Zach was also obviously bummed about his ending marriage. In response, Dixie made sure he knew her feelings for him. Zach let her down easy and insisted he only had room for one woman in his heart — Kendall — even if she didn't want him. After Dix and Zach parted ways, Kendall arrived at his door.

At Tad's PI office, David dropped by to discuss Emma with Tad. When the not-so-good-doc revealed he took Dixie to see Emma at the Miranda Center, Tad flipped. "Do you have any idea what you're doing to Dixie?!" David informed the PI that Emma said her daddy wasn't her real daddy and a delusional David went on to plan a future with Dix. Meanwhile, at Ryan's place, Mr. Lavery assured Annie he believed Emma was her daughter. Annie was adamant about not taking a DNA test. "Emma is not adopted," she insisted. "I gave birth to her." She pleaded with Ryan to just keep Tad and Dixie away from her daughter. He promised her he'd make them see Emma wasn't Kate. Later, while Annie was alone with Jonathan, David arrived and told Annie he had DNA evidence. After Jonathan made David leave, a frantic Annie turned to him. "I need your help," she cried. Later, Ryan visited Tad to tell him Annie swore Emma was hers. But the situation got sticky when Tad presented Ryan with Emma's birth certificate — which stated Greg Madden delivered the little girl.
