At the Valley Inn, Jeff explained to Erica that he needed to make sure she was okay. Erica was more concerned about Josh. Jeff shocked Erica by declaring that he wanted a future with her. "I'm falling back in love with you. This is very, very real." Erica told Josh he was living in the past; he denied the accusation.

Josh showed up at Kendall's covered in blood and told his sis about JR's accident. Kendall opined that JR deserved whatever happened to him. Josh sighed that he wasn't quite sure why he'd saved JR's life. Kendall and Josh then headed out to the hospital.

At the hospital, Babe and Adam fretted about JR's condition (he was in surgery). Bianca told Jack about JR's accident; Jack asked where Erica went off to.... Krystal showed up to lend support to Adam. He told her that her daughter had destroyed his son, then railed at Babe for her (in his opinion, false) show of concern for JR.... Tad showed up and asked Babe about JR's prognosis; Di and Dixie arrived next and Dix blasted Babe for breaking JR's heart. Bianca felt bad for Babe.... David listened in as Adam and Krystal squabbled over Adam's treatment of Babe. Krystal warned that his behavior could tear their marriage apart, swearing that she would take Adam's baby away if he tried to take Little Adam away from Babe.... Tad consoled a weeping Dix, who held herself responsible for JR's fate. Tad assured Dixie that they would have relationships with all of their kids for a very long time.... Di assured Jamie that JR's accident wasn't his fault. Julia reported that there was nothing new to report about JR.... Erica arrived, as did Jeff.... Josh and Kendall walked in and Adam punched him in the face. Adam also socked Jeff. Tad helped to break up the brawl. Bianca defended Babe when Erica pinned the blame for JR's condition on her. La Kane also lashed out at Krystal. Dix blasted Babe again.... Jamie stared down Josh, then stalked off.... Tad took Dixie's hand and tried to calm her down.... Jamie rejected Julia's peace offering of coffee.... Jack picked up on Erica's concern for Jeff after Adam injured him.... A heartbroken Bianca opened up to Kendall about how she failed to fight for Maggie when Mags was unfaithful to her.... Jamie told Julia that his feelings for her weren't casual and that he wanted her back.... Erica told an increasingly impatient Jack that she wasn't ready to come home. He asked if NEW BEGINNINGS needed her attention or if Jeff did.... Adam called Barry and told him to gear up for a custody battle, either for his grandson or his new baby girl or both.... Josh found a sobbing Babe, who told him to leave her alone. "I never want to see your face again," she spat.

On the Fusion rooftop, Adam told Babe that he'd looked everywhere for JR but hadn't been able to find him. Adam railed at Babe for confessing her affair with JR. "You've destroyed my son!" he barked.

Erica and Bianca were aghast when an inebriated JR hurled himself through the window of Josh's room at the Valley Inn. Binks called 911. Josh strolled by and came across JR's seemingly lifeless body. Erica and Bianca ran down the stairs and watched as Josh worked to revive JR. The paramedics arrived but Josh insisted on performing surgery on the spot to save JR.... At the hospital, Julia was among the medical professionals who worked to make sure JR survived.... Bianca was deeply troubled by what she had just witnessed (go figure). Jeff, Adam and Babe arrived on the scene and saw Josh's blood-stained shirt. When Josh said that the blood was JR's, Adam lunged for him; Jeff held Adam off. Babe crumpled in tears when Josh explained how JR had been injured. Josh asked Babe if she understood now what her husband was capable of. Babe ran off.... Adam showed up at JR's bedside and begged him to pull through. Julia said it was time to take JR into surgery and assured Adam she would keep him posted.... Babe arrived at the hospital and Bianca reported that JR had gone into surgery. "Because of you!" added Adam, addressing Bianca. Binks told Adam she was sorry, but JR was responsible for his own fall. Babe asked Bianca if she was okay. "I'm not great," said Bianca. Julia warned Babe that JR had lost a lot of blood and might not make it.

Annie woke Ryan up and told him that Emma could be Tad's child. Ryan doubted that Tad would have donated to a sperm bank but noted that he had become a sperm donor for cash once upon a time. Emma came into the living room, frightened she was going to lose her mommy. After they got Emma back to sleep, Annie fretted to Ryan about her fear that her memory had deceived her and Emma was not the girl she'd given birth to. Ryan made every effort to calm Annie down. They then made a bet about a mythical figure in one of Emma's books, which they went online to settle. That is how they stumbled upon the genetic term "chimera", which just might explain why Annie and Emma's DNA appear not to match.

Zach encountered a glum Tad at the casino. Tad told Zach about the DNA test on Emma and how Dixie intended to let the girl remain with Annie even if she proved to be Kate. Zach understood Dixie's point of view.

Dixie had a nightmare about Kate. Di arrived to console her sister. Dix asked Di if her own actions had driven Tad to torture Greg Madden. Di reeled from Dixie's revelation that Tad had, however inadvertantly, caused Madden's death. Di assured Dix that she wasn't to blame. Di was stunned when Dixie informed her of the promise she'd made to Annie. "You can't lose Kate again!" protested Di. Dix was grateful for Di's support as her sister tucked her in for the night. A call from Adam woke her up. "There's been an accident," Adam reported.

Jeff comforted Erica, who was distraught over the possibility that they might have lost Josh.... Josh sat on the rooftop and thought about Babe.

Erica basked in the success of the NEW BEGINNINGS bash. Bianca was uncomfortable when La Kane praised Jeff for staying through to the end. After Binks left, Jeff proposed that he and Erica keep the evening going. They were about to kiss when Adam arrived, looking for Josh. After they traded insults about each other's poor parenting, Jeff and Erica told Adam that they would take care of their son. Erica suggested Adam look for JR, who was on a rampage.

Jack sat at Lily's hospital bedside. Jonathan gazed at a sleeping Lily from the hallway. Jack gently invited Jon to visit Lily while she was still sleeping; Jon understood his drift: that Lily would be upset if she woke up and he was there.... Brooke and Jack compared notes on their teenaged wards. Brooke tried to get Jack to open up about his marital issues but Jack insisted all was fine on the Erica front.... In the waiting room, Jon thanked Amanda for calling him about Lily. Amanda informed Jon that Lily had gotten upset earlier about the Jon/Amanda relationship. With a heavy heart, Amanda said she didn't think she could be friends with him anymore.... Jack rushed to Lily's side when she woke up and told her she'd be better soon.... Amanda sent a longing gaze in Jon's direction....

Sydney stormed into the Chandler library with the items that had gone missing from the house and swore to Krystal that Colby set her up to look like a thief. Krystal took Syd's side, blasting Colby for her behavior. She then tried to reason with the girl, reminding her that Adam loves her even when she's not courting his attention by acting out. Colby was unimpressed and warned Krystal, "I know about you and Tad Martin." Krystal tried not to let on to Colby that there was any credence to her claims.

Babe railed at Josh for disclosing their affair to JR. Josh accused Babe of wanting to dump JR so that they (Babe and Josh) could be together. She denied it and begged Josh to leave her alone. Babe then said that she was responsible for the mess JR had become; Josh disagreed. When Josh let it slip that he'd eavesdropped on a conversation between Babe and JR in their bedroom, she spat, "You and I are over." Josh left after vowing that JR would never again use Babe as an excuse to hurt someone. Babe's next visitor? Adam.

In Josh's hotel room, JR poured as many bottles of liquor as the minibar held down his throat. Binks showed up and was frightened when she realized JR was trashed. JR became emotional when Bianca mentioned her desire to get home to Miranda, then blew a gasket on the topic of Babe and Josh. Bianca reminded JR that she had once stood up for him and asked him, "Is this what you choose? Is this how you want to honor your son?" A sincere JR said he hated what he'd done to her, what he had done to Kendall, but his rage returned soon enough. Binks blasted JR for his failure to take responsibility for himself. Erica walked in on their escalating argument and ordered JR to stay away from her daughter. JR tried to leave, but Bianca and Erica blocked the exit. JR found an alternative way to leave and hurled himself out of the window.

Kendall tried to sell Zach on the house she wanted to buy. He said he couldn't live there and rushed off. She followed.

Julia greeted Tad at ConFusion. When Jamie sidled up, Julia left to join Simone, Di, Danielle and some never-before-seen female pals across the room. Tad advised Jamie to stop sulking and go talk to Julia..... Josh and Erin chatted and flirted at the bar. They left together and went to the roof. They started getting hot and heavy but Josh, plagued by thoughts of Babe, couldn't go through with it.... Zach and Kendall entered and he revealed that the house she had shown him was an exact replica of the home he'd grown up in. Kendall was pleased when Zach indicated that he wanted to further expand their family.... Jamie did talk to Julia, but their conversation brought them no closer to reconciliation. Tad insisted to Jamie that Julia is faking not caring about him.

JR reeled from Babe's admission that she had slept with Josh. Anguished, she tried to explain herself. Colby entered with Little Adam and picked up on the tension. JR icily told Babe that he was all their son needed. Babe swore she loved JR and stood behind the vows she'd made at their wedding. She asked if he could ever forgive her. JR asked Babe if she had loved Josh. She tearfully copped to loving Josh, though not in the way she loved JR, and begged JR not to leave.

Krystal and Adam shared with Colby that they were expecting a baby girl. Colby was less than thrilled. Krystal told Adam to cancel his meeting with Barry (Adam intended to adjust his will to ensure the financial security of Krystal and baby-to-be-Charlotte), insisting she needed him, not his money. After leaving JR and Babe, Colby tried to warn Adam about what was happening but they didn't take her seriously until they heard shouts and JR tearing off in his car. Babe begged Adam to stop JR from doing something drastic. Babe tried to call Josh to warn him that JR knew about the affair and told Krystal that she had been unable to continue lying to her husband. Babe ran out of the house.... While Babe scoured ConFusion for any sign of JR or Josh, Adam exited Josh's hotel room after finding it empty (because JR was hiding). After flashing back to finding Babe naked on the Fusion roof, JR opened the mini-bar and began downing alcohol. JR imagined that Babe and Josh were there, in the throes of passion, and kept drinking .... Erin returned to ConFusion and indicated that Josh might be waiting for her on the roof. He was. "You son of a bitch!" spat Babe.
