AMC Recaps Week of November 27, 2006

As Krystal helped Dixie move into the Chandler mansion, both ladies were surprised when Tad arrived. He announced David indeed left town and was now volunteering in Southeast Asia. Then he asked about the secret David left on his tape. Both Dix and Krystal pled the fifth. Once Krystal was gone, Tad cornered Dixie and begged for the truth. She didn't want to hurt him again, but he finally got it out of her: Krystal was carrying his baby.

Zarf was immediately enamored with Bianca when they were introduced. Binks was a bit freaked out, however. Babe rescued her and the two headed up to the Fusion rooftop to chat. When Babe questioned what she was supposed to do about her love life mess, Binks answered: "I think that you should join a convent and JR should join a traveling circus." She was tired of offering other people advice when her own life was far from perfect. (Did she read Weekly‚s latest "Miss" or something?) Later, Babe admitted she still loved Josh. And Bianca admitted she surprisingly still loved Babe, despite all the horrible things she did. Binks told Babe that by loving her brother, however, she was still encouraging him. Meanwhile, downstairs, the Fusion gals continued to have difficulty understanding Zarf's interesting thought process on life. After Babe left, Zarf found Binks again on the roof. He told her he had fallen in love at first sight with her, and then kissed Pine Valley's resident lesbian.

Without the aid of meds, JR was in excruciating pain. Adam was insistent on getting his son pain relief, but JR kicked his dad out. Instead of meds, Julia suggested acupuncture. JR was reluctant at first but eventually agreed and the acupuncture worked. Over at their new house, Zach and Kendall shared a sweet moment when Kendall assured Zach they didn't have to move into that house because of the memories it brought back. Zach told Kendall about his convo with Babe and assured his wife he wanted the house. They planned many future nights of watching hockey together and started to head out happily...but as they were leaving, Zach had another strange vision.

Josh snuck into Babe and JR's bedroom to leave Babe a special scrapbook he made of Little A. While there, he had a variety of flashbacks and fantasies that involved his lady love. Not smart, because he stayed just long enough for Krystal to catch him. When Krystal saw the photo album she was touched and she said she could tell Babe loved Josh. Just then, Babe walked in. "I've made a decision about my future," she told him.

What colors did Zach want for his two recliners in the new house?

The episode began with each character having their own nightmare from hell: Krystal dreamed about Tad finding out Charlotte's paternity, Kendall watched as Ryan left Spike for Emma, Babe caused JR to jump out of another window, JR saw Babe declare her love for Josh in front of him, and Zach dreamed that he couldn't stop a mystery woman from taking a big fall. JR woke up in terrible pain. Jamie offered to get him pain meds, but JR insisted against it. When Bianca arrived for a visit, she told JR he needed something for the pain, but he winced and explained that since he was an addict, he didn't want anything. When Jamie left Binks and JR alone, Bianca kindly offered JR her hand and told him to squeeze it as hard as he needed. JR apologized for scaring Bianca the night of the fall and when the topic shifted to Babe, Binks opened up to JR and told him about her experience with Maggie. Meanwhile, Jamie advised Babe to leave JR alone. In the end, all they did was hurt each other.

Zach arrived at the house Kendall wanted to buy to see a woman leaning over the balcony. He had no reason to freak, though — it was only Babe, trying to see what JR felt like. She assured him she wasn't about to jump. The two shared a chat and Babe advised Zach to buy the house. Ryan, Annie, Emma and Spike visited Santa Claus at the mall.

Erin, Simone and Dani walked into Fusion to discover the furniture missing and a very naked Zarf (the rock star Babe encountered months ago) on their office floor. He explained that "we shouldn't hide behind disguises," hence the nakedness. He was upset that Babe wasn't there because he only trusted her with his "essence." To make Zarf more at home until Babe got there, the gals stripped. Needless to say, when Kendall arrived she was furious. While Zarf got dressed, Ryan arrived to tell Kendall about the mall visit. Kendall was obviously shaken by how close Ryan was becoming to Annie and Emma, so she headed to the Chandler mansion. She asked Krystal if David had really left town and Krystal said, "I hope so." Zach interrupted and called Kendall to request her presence at their new house. Yup, he bought the place.

Back at Fusion, Zarf was beyond frustrated with the girls until Babe arrived. He swept her off her feet, elated to see her, but then grew disappointed when their "auras" didn't seem to connect. Just as he was about to leave, Bianca arrived.

As Erica and Jack discussed a divorce over a very public Thanksgiving dinner, Bianca tried to calm them both down. "Tell me she's not headed for divorce No. 10," Myrtle sighed after Erica stormed out of the room. Surprisingly, Josh went upstairs to comfort Erica. He told her perhaps it would be best to leave Jack. When Erica brought up Babe, Josh retreated, but Erica made sure her son knew that she loved him and she wished his life was easier. Later, while Kendall and Bianca voiced support for Jack, Josh suggested Jeff would be the better man for Erica. Binks and Kendall just smiled. Though his opinion differed from theirs, he still had one, which mean he was officially "one of them." Kinks welcomed their brother to the family.

Jeff and Jackson had a heated one-on-one where Jeff stated, "The battle for Erica is just beginning." After he left, Brooke walked outside to offer her comfort to Jack. She reminded him that he and Erica had hit many speed bumps before and always found their way back to each other. "The only way you're going to lose Erica to Jeff is if you want to," Brooke pointedly said. Meanwhile, upstairs in Erica's room, Jeff concluded Erica didn't really want a divorce. He assured her he wanted her back, but she had to want him as much as he wanted her.

At the Chandler mansion, Babe went crazy and destroyed the tape David left before it had to chance to expose Krystal's secret. She wailed about her hatred for her father and how everyone else should just hate her. Tad managed to calm her down and took her outside for a heart-to-heart. There he questioned if she wanted to stay with JR because she loved him or for Little Adam's sake. Babe loved JR and just wanted her family back. Tad declared he understood that. Babe comforted him regarding Kate. Back inside, Dixie once again asked Krystal if her baby was Tad's. Krystal denied David's claims, but Dixie wasn't convinced.

At the boathouse, Sean opened up to Colby about his dysfunctional childhood. He was torn over the fact that in his eyes, he's the reason Travis (his father) and Erica split. And he feared he was the reason for Jack and Erica's problems. Instead of being a brat, Colby was there for her friend.

After fleeing the Thanksgiving mayhem, Ryan and Annie ended up back at the penthouse. They toasted to their own Thanksgiving and Annie told him he was now off the hook, since her problems with Emma were over. Ryan assured her he wanted to spend time with her, and the two scheduled their first date. Zach left the craziness at the Valley Inn and had male bonding time with Spike back at Kendall's condo. At the end of the episode, he walked outside and found a letter on the ground that said: "You murdered her!"

JR cracked jokes about cracking his pelvic bone and bed sores — yuck! — then credited Tad with brining him back from "the light" (no, not GUIDING LIGHT), and said he needs his mother. A grateful Adam asked Dixie to move in while JR recovers. She accepted, and Adam invited Tad to dinner. Jamie volunteered to stick with JR. Alone, JR wondered if Jamie is working with Josh now? Jamie warned JR and Josh to steer clear of Babe. JR explained why he jumped: He couldn't stand being in Josh's room anymore, and he thought window was a door. "I had to get out of there," he understated. JR vowed, "I never want to touch another drink as long as I live," and asked Jamie to remove his pain-killing drip. Jamie balked, but JR insisted — if he can deal with the broken bones, he can handle anything.

At the Chandler manse, Krystal told Colby to blame only JR for JR being in the hospital. And Babe is sticking around, so Colby better not meddle. Meanwhile, outside the door, David hugged Babe for the "last time," and predicted Krystal will be leaving soon — and Babe will follow. "Your father loved you very, very much," he said, before kissing her and leaving. Babe missed the package on the doorstep. Tad and Dixie arrived for dinner, much to Krystal's chagrin. She was really nonplussed when Adam revealed that Dixie will be sticking around. Colby brought David's package inside. Adam unopened the DVD and started viewing it. Krystal turned it off, but Tad wanted to watch the rest. Meanwhile, David went to Leora's grave and confessed he did everything he promised to avenge her. "They're all getting exactly what they deserved," he exulted. "Your father loves you very, very much, and he always will." With that, he left.

At the Valley Inn, Bianca and Josh chatted about Babe, while Erica and Jack needled each other for inviting Brooke/Jeff and Josh. Jeff reveled in being used to get Jack's goat. Kendall fumed over Ryan playing with Emma. Annie told Kendall the DNA tests revealed "She's mine." Sean wanted to leave until sexy Amanda arrived. Annie asked Erica, "Just how many of your husbands did you invite?" In the ladies room, Annie revealed to Kendall that she was impregnated by donated sperm that could have come from anywhere (so that's what women talk about in there?). Jack and Erica tangled over seating (Erica and Jeff together; Jack and Brooke; Zach and...Myrtle). Next, Erica and Jack faced off over saying grace before Myrtle saved the day. Erica sneered that Jeff the surgeon should carve the bird instead of Jack, then butted heads with Brooke over and over. Ryan invited Annie to stay in his penthouse indefinitely, but Kendall suggested Ryan might want to keep the penthouse for himself. Jeff told Binks about Africa and seeing that after a lion makes kill, hyenas, jackals, vultures pick over the carcass. Jack wondered how that is any different from Pine Valley. In fact, he knew of a father/son duo who prey on married women. Insulted, Josh asked Jack to step outside. It escalated when Jeff turned on Jack, and Sean took up his uncle's cause. Ryan asked Kendall why she's "hell-bent on running Annie out of town?" For Spike. "Spike will always come first with me," he promised. "He's my only child, Kendall. He's my life." Bianca begged her mother to make up with Uncle Jack. Later, Sean met Colby and confessed he knows nothing about love. In fact, his dad lost his one true love because of him. Erica overheard Lily say her father was right to think he and Erica don't belong together. Jack didn't want to talk about it, so Erica conceded that maybe they should get a divorce.

Adam restarted the DVD. David insisted Krystal and Babe will be leaving soon, and Dixie has "the ammunition to get the ball rolling" if she wants. But, he offered, "allow me...."

David marveled that Ryan — who never wanted to be a father — now has two kids, and warned Kendall that Emma will distract Ryan from Spike. And maybe someday Spike will date Emma. Kendall threw him out just as Zach arrived. David fled without a confrontation. Meanwhile Ryan was teaching Annie a card trick when Jeff brought back the test results: No matches — except that Annie is truly Emma's mother. The child jumped into Annie's arms. Ryan gave the results to the social worker, who green lighted Emma going home with Annie.

Bianca and Erica agreed that Jack has a temper, and Binks talked her into sticking around for Thanksgiving dinner. Then Jack walked in with Brooke (and Sean and Lily). Erica sniped at Brooke's wardrobe (to Jack's horror). Jack was stunned Erica was staying for dinner — but she had to nip out for a second first.

Adam blasted Babe and Josh because JR can't have turkey for dinner. Josh warned Babe she has no future with the Chandlers. Meanwhile, Tad and Dixie comforted JR — until she brought up how much Babe loves him. "No one could ever forgive that bitch," he spat. Dixie wanted Tad to tell JR that they are an example of the power of forgiveness. Dixie told Tad she's grateful for the blessings in life: Jamie, "our daughter, your forgiveness." A tearful Tad admitted to JR that he has forgiven his mother. Pain is a sign of the love. "Love is for morons," JR griped. "Sometimes," Tad replied. But it can also be good. Dixie assured JR he will one day understand why Babe did what she did. "Life is too short," Tad added. Meanwhile, Babe told Josh to stop loving her — because he's killing her. An eavesdropping Erica complimented Babe on booting Josh. "You are the worst thing that ever happened to him," she chided, telling the younger girl to "go win back JR." From his hospital bed, JR scoffed at forgiving Babe, but Dixie explained that her fear prompted her to make wrong choices with his sister, and now she regrets that. JR understood that Dixie stayed away out of love, but what part of cheating is about love? Adam burst in (with Little Adam) and demanded that Tad leave JR alone. JR insisted that Tad and Dixie stay. "Some things can be forgiven," he noted. "So how about a truce between the Martins and the Chandlers?"

Erica ran into Josh and Jeff — who were just about to go have dinner — so she invited them to join her at the Valley Inn. Later, Ryan brought Annie and Emma to the Valley Inn, and introduced the child to Miranda. Binks asked Sean to bring chairs — and a first-aid kit when Erica appeared with Jeff and Josh! A bubbly Kendall was deflated when she saw Ryan playing with Emma.

David taped a video goodbye message and left it on the Chandler doorstep, but as he turned to leave he ran smack into Babe.
