Kendall thought back on sleeping with Aidan, and Zach thought back on all the suspicious things Kendall had done recently. Kendall asked about Jenny's birthday, and he asked how her mom was. Zach told her Annie had told him about Kendall taking Aidan home. Zach suddenly kissed her. She told him what she had gone through when he was missing. Kendall admitted that after a month, she gave up on finding him alive. She was convinced he was dead. Crying, she finally forced it out — "I slept with Aidan." Zach told her he already knew. She explained to him how it happened, the depth of her despair. She told him she was going to regret it for the rest of her life. Zach told her the betrayal was not sleeping with Aidan, but not telling him about it. Kendall continued trying to explain herself, and Zach finally yelled for her to stop.
Ryan met with a therapist and told her what he was able to remember and how frustrated he was about what he couldn't.
Greenlee and Aidan fooled around on a pool table and Aidan gave her the engagement ring again. Tad walked in on them. Aidan told him about the engagement, and Tad congratulated him. Tad added that he couldn't help but notice that Aidan had been acting funny, as if something was bothering him.
Annie told Livia she wasn't going through with the divorce yet. Livia was happy to hear it and left. Greenlee arrived at Fusion and told Annie that she and Aidan were engaged. Annie told her she was surprised because Aidan had come to her recently telling her Greenlee turned him down. She thought Greenlee only changed her mind about the proposal because Ryan rejected her. Before Greenlee could respond, Ryan walked in.

Ryan joined Annie and Greenlee. Annie informed him that Greenlee and Aidan were engaged. When Annie realized that Ryan had remembered something about Greenlee, Greens quickly lied to cover. After she left, Annie asked why Ryan was really there. He wanted to know how they met. She told him the whole story. Annie hoped one day he would remember it. Ryan thought back to the therapist, noting that he was remembering only positive memories.
Aidan was annoyed that Tad was questioning him about Kendall. As Tad continued to press him, he caved and confessed what had happened. Tad asked what would happen if Greenlee found out...just as she walked in. She asked what they were talking about, but neither would tell her. She assumed it was a surprise for her, and let it go.
Jesse and Angie argued about his need to investigate what had happened to him. Jesse told her he couldn't let it go. Frankie walked in as he said that, and agreed he couldn't let it go either. Angie stormed out, and after she left, Frankie told Jesse about his time in Iraq. He admitted he made a mistake that got his comrades killed. He asked him not to tell Angie, and Jesse assured him he wasn't at fault.
Kendall tried to make Zach understand what had happened. He was about to leave, and Kendall begged him to go with her somewhere. She brought him to the cabin where the deed was done. He didn't want to go inside, but she convinced him to. She asked him if their marriage was over. Zach told her it was going to be okay, and left to go home.
Robert told the room service waiter about the paper cranes he made — a total of 638. He explained that the story was if you made 1,000 cranes your wish would come true. Angie showed up and asked Robert to back off; she didn't want Jesse obsessing over Papel. Robert confessed he was just trying to make a friend. He agreed to talk about other things with Jesse, and Angie thanked him and gave him an open invitation to have dinner at their home. After she left, he made his 639th crane.

Jesse and Angie headed back to the bedroom before breakfast. After, as they were kissing in the kitchen, Frankie walked in. He suggested he find his own place. They insisted they didn't want him to move out. Jesse talked about getting a job, and Frankie tried to convince them both that Jesse should go back to the police force. After he left, Jesse told Angie he wasn't going to go back. Just then, Robert showed up at the door. Angie got paged and left for the hospital. Jesse told Robert he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened to him and why. He didn't think the guy Robert had shot was the one who stole 20 years of his life. Jesse thought they should dig up "his" coffin.
Krystal went to the mansion to get some things she left behind. Adam was upset because he found out Colby had turned down her first choice college. She didn't want to leave Pine Valley; she was going to go to PVU. Adam was not hearing it. She told him she didn't want to leave him alone. As they argued, Adam collapsed. Colby screamed for Krystal, who ran in and told Colby to call 911. They went with Adam to the hospital in an ambulance. Adam told Colby to call JR. He told Krystal he was sorry, and he loved her.
Erica told Samuel she needed his help. She told him Carmen was innocent, and she wanted him to get her out of jail. After some persuading he said that he would try, but Erica had to do some work as well. She could affect public opinion. They said goodbye. Walking back to her cell, she found a note on the floor, which read, "New Beginnings, make it happen."
Babe told JR they had to cancel their plans because Little Adam was sick. They argued about their relationship. He begged her to try again with him. She said she couldn't be with him because he was Adam Chandler's son. He insisted he had changed. They were interrupted by a call from Colby, and they quickly rushed to the hospital.
A wounded police officer was rushed into the hospital, covered in blood. Frankie and Angie were both taken aback. They both knew that could have been Jesse. Later, Adam was wheeled in with Krystal behind him. She begged Angie to save him.

Angie told Krystal that she didn't have any news yet. Adam screamed for a doctor, and Angie found him refusing to let Frankie work on him. Angie insisted Frankie was a doctor, but did the procedure anyway. Everyone went into Adam's room and talked about his health. Angie told them she thought it was a panic attack. Adam denied he ever panicked. As he got worked up, he had another one of his attacks. Angie thanked him for proving her point. By themselves, Krystal and Babe talked about the pull of the Chandler men. JR and Colby pledged their love and support to Adam. Angie suggested a psychologist to Adam, but he crumbled up the paper. Krystal begged him to give it a try. For a moment it seemed like he would, but then he said, "Let's get the hell out of here," and left.
Annie found Ryan working on his motorcycle. She helped him, and he started talking about when Greenlee learned to ride. She quickly realized he did remember things about her. He apologized, but she told him she was just happy his memory was coming back. Corrina dropped off Emma. They decided to head to the beach so they could ride the bike. After they rode, they roasted marshmallows on the beach. Emma ran off to play, and Annie realized Ryan was trying to love her.
Greenlee and Aidan talked about wedding plans. She gave him a gift — a watch. A very expensive watch. This brought up the subject of money. Aidan pointed out that she should have a prenup. He also said he wanted to be able to provide for them.
Kendall had a nightmare about Zach, and woke up to find him looking at her. She asked what they were going to do about Greenlee. Zach didn't think there was a reason for anyone else to get hurt. Kendall told him about her nightmare, and he told her he would never leave her.
Joe and Tad ate at The Comeback. Tad wondered why Rob was still in Pine Valley. They talked about Kate. After Joe left, Tad got a call.
Greenlee arrived at the office, and Kendall updated her on business.
Greens tried to hint at her engagement, but Kendall wasn't picking up on it. Finally she basically stuck the diamond in her face, and Kendall hugged her. Greenlee could tell something was up with Kendall, but Kendall said she was just an emotional sap. Greenlee suggested they do dinner, and picked up the phone to invite the guys. Kendall desperately tried to stop her. Greenlee knew something was up.
At Cambias, Josh gave Zach a hard time for missing work. Zach snapped at him. He apologized and said he'd had a rough night. Josh said he would make sure no one bothered him. Aidan walked in, and showed Zach the watch Greenlee got him. Aidan said he wanted to be fair to Greenlee. He wanted to accept the job Zach had once offered him.

Ryan told Annie he didn't know how to get their life back. She told him he
should stop trying; they both needed to relax. Emma brought Ryan a shell,
and they sent her off to find another one that looked just like it. She
brought one back and left to get another. Suddenly, she cried out for Annie. After realizing she was bit by something, they rushed her to the
hospital, where she was treated. Ryan told Annie that he would never forget
that he loved Emma. Later, Annie looked on while he hugged Emma and told her
how much he loved her.
Kendall told Greenlee it wasn't a good night to do dinner. Greenlee
suspected something was up. Kendall told her there was nothing, just that
Zach was busy at work with a big meeting. Greenlee said Zach would change
his plans for her. Finally, Kendall relented. Meanwhile at Cambias, Zach
gave Aidan a hard time, and Aidan told him if he didn't want to give him
the job anymore he should give him a reason. Zach said he wasn't sure
Cambias was the right place for him. He just got engaged and the job would
keep him too busy. Aidan insisted he could handle it. They were interrupted
by a call from Greenlee, asking if Zach would cancel his meeting to do
dinner. Zach said he would, much to Kendall's chagrin. Next, Zach told Aidan
the job was his.
Erica told Carmen she had spoken to Samuel on her behalf. Carmen was unsure
that Samuel would really help her. Erica told her about the threatening note
she got, and that she had given it to the guard, and asked her to give it to
the warden. Carmen told her she shouldn't have done that. Moments later, a group of women walked in and confronted Erica.
Angie and Krystal met for coffee. Angie questioned Krystal's feelings for Adam.
Krystal insisted there was nothing for her to worry about. Angie got a call
from Derek, who was looking for Jesse. Angie rushed out to find out what was
going on.
Jesse told Tad he wanted to dig up "his" grave. He wanted to find out what
was buried in that coffin. Tad wasn't happy to learn that Jesse's idea was
inspired by Robert. Tad insisted Robert couldn't be trusted. Robert showed
up, but before he could tell Jesse why he was there, Derek called and told
him they were digging up his grave.
Kendall excused herself to go home and change. Alone by the elevator,
she called Zach and told him they couldn't do dinner. Zach said it would
be fine, and hung up. Greenlee caught up with her by the elevator and
reminded her they had a student group coming to meet with them. Meeting with
the girls reminded them both of their great friendship. Kendall told her she
would never take advantage of her friendship. After, they went downstairs to meet the guys. They walked in just in time to see Aidan and Zach toasting.
Aidan told them he had accepted the job as head of Cambias security. Out of
their earshot, Kendall asked Zach if he was crazy. Greenlee asked someone
nearby to take a picture of the four of them, and Kendall was clearly
feeling uncomfortable.
