"Would you trade a few good days for a lifetime of pain?" Paul asked Jennifer, stalling instead of just revealing the baby switch before ultimately deciding to keep mum. "As long as I'm around, Craig Montgomery will never hurt you," he vowed, as Emily came home and there was an awkward moment in which Jen learned that they were the godparents of Rosanna's baby. Carly, looking spectacular in a white suit with flowers in her hair met Jack (not too shabby himself in a dove gray suit) was getting ready at the church, where she had a brief flashback to the Frankenstein carriage when Parker (Parker!) showed up. Then Jack arrived and again questioned her rush to christen the baby. She danced around some excuses, but he, she and we all know that it's not just about making the baby part of their family, but keeping him away from Gwen, who was at Al's getting more reassurances from Will, this time about whether Jack would keep his word. "Is there anybody in the entire world you trust?" he asked. "No. I mean, besides you," she grinned. Sigh. Anyway, he reiterated that not only is Jack a great father and Hal's best friend, but Will would trust him with his life. But when they arrived in Milltown to see the baby, Gwen freaked to learn that the baby was being christened (behind her back!) at that very moment. Indeed, with Paul and Emily finally in attendance (along with both J.J. and Parker!), the christening began, with Paul holding baby Rory Cabot. We got a flash of The Godfather when the reverend mentioned renouncing evil and the camera zoomed in on Paul — but just when we expected a montage of Paul's enemies being creatively whacked, Gwen interrupted. Jack and Will grabbed onto the wild women to keep them from getting physical (Carly actually seemed to swipe her claws at her rival). As Paul and Emily ushered out J.J. and Parker (who were hilariously whining about having to miss the fireworks), Carly and Gwen traded insults, so The Best Teen Ever instantly leapt to Gwen's defense, which she definitely appreciated. "You will take that baby over my dead body," Carly hissed. "Any way I have to, lady," Gwen spat right back. Meanwhile, Paul assured his new godson that even with this family he was better off than with his "real father." Emily walked up as he was apologizing, and didn't seem to buy his cover story. Jen went to Al's for coffee, while Iris (coming off an earlier confrontation with Jack, in which she warned him to keep Carly away again) showed up looking for something stronger. Al's doesn't have a liquor license, so Iris pulled out her flask and noticed Jen noticing her. "I'm sorry if you felt judged," she said, but Iris can deal with that; it's the memories she has trouble with. When Jen politely asked about what, Iris — solely for our benefit, we believe — started her "my beautiful boy" refrain. That's all it took: suddenly, they were soulmates, as Jen confided in the other woman about how she believes her baby isn't dead. They didn't get a chance to compare notes about giving birth at home, because Jennifer went on and on about her connection to her son, which she feels strongly. The next time we saw her, she was outside of the church, looking a little desperate, and telling Paul that she had to come. Then she heard the baby's cries. "That's him. That's my baby," she gasped. Come on! Couldn't she have said "That's my beautiful boy"?

After Meg set Dusty's mouth aflame with a far-too-spicy sauce and then burned the stuffed quail in the oven, he impressed her by whipping up some paella &mdsh; a possible first for the Snyder kitchen! After dinner, he brought her over to sit on his lap and called her an angel. Make-out time....

Also getting hot and heavy were Mike and Katie, who were hoping for a romantic night at the Lakeview. "You're like home," gushed Mike, looking like he was going to jump her right there in the hallway. "Get a room," said a spying Maddie, who quickly rethought that suggestion, created a diversion, and crawled behind the front desk's computer to make that option unavailable to Katie and Mike. They took the news in stride, and with some further Maddie meddling (which, to their credit, didn't fool them), they went their separate ways, promising to be together soon.

Lily figured out that Lucinda tricked her and Holden into having dinner together, but Holden said he was fine with it. Holden told Lily how Lucinda set up the dinner and they played along to "humor" Lucinda, who was watching. Lucinda was pleased until Keith arrived and wanted to give Lily her cell phone, which she had left on their date at the Lakeview. Lucinda said Lily was busy but he insisted that he wasn't going anywhere until he talked to Lily. Meanwhile, Holden asked Lily to dance for old time's sake. They shared a close dance and gazed into each other's eyes just as Keith burst in. Lucinda cried that life is short and that she didn't want Lily with Keith. Lily said she had been manipulated enough and took off with Keith. Lucinda told Holden to go after her. Lily and Keith got fries at Al's and Lily reassured Keith that she and Holden are not reconciling.

Dusty found Jennifer in the lobby of the Lakeview. Jen was on the phone with Paul, who told her to meet him at his place in an hour because he had big news that would change her life. Jen told Dusty she had ideas for work and wanted to meet over dinner but then saw he had flowers and was obviously on his way to a date. Jen told Dusty to have a good time. Later Dusty found an upset Jen still in the lobby and she showed him the baby's sock that she stumbled upon. Jen realized he was supposed to be on his date and wouldn't let him cancel. He offered to buy her a drink before he left.

Emma returned to the farm and was surprised to find Meg cooking dinner for Dusty. Emma warned Meg that Dusty was walking all over her. Meg told her to worry about Holden instead. Emma and Meg made up and she went upstairs to change. Outside the door of the Snyder kitchen, Dusty left a message for Jennifer which Emma overheard. Meg came down the stairs half-dressed and Dusty gave her the flowers. Dusty took off to get wine and Emma warned her that Dusty isn't interested in her. Meg brushed off Emma's report about Dusty's call to Jennifer and said Dusty would be back. Emma told Meg she deserved the same kind of attention from Dusty and took off. Meg patiently waited for Dusty. She blew out the candles just as he returned and he confessed that he had been with Jennifer.

Paul hung up with Jennifer and it was revealed he was at the prison to visit Craig. Paul told Craig he knew what he did and why he forced Rosanna off the road. Craig went to leave until Paul mentioned that he switched the babies. Paul outlined the whole story and then Craig blasted Jennifer's actions. Alas that confrontation was just Paul's dream. Paul walked into the visiting room and Craig said he was waiting for him. Craig revealed that Rosanna was "gone." Paul asked him what he meant and Craig revealed that the doctors said Rosanna had a seizure and that any hope of recovery is gone. Rosanna was now in a vegetative state. Paul blasted Craig for taking Rosanna's life and told Craig it was over and walked out (Buh-bye Hunt Block). Jennifer showed up at Paul's and asked him what his good news was...

Maddie, Katie, Mike and Henry return to the cottage after a trip to the hospital. Maddie picked up the wrong prescription for Henry, so she sent Mike back to the pharmacy. Maddie spied Katie giving Henry an alcohol rub, then asked them to tell her about their wedding when she found their wedding album. Maddie couldn't believe they didn't go on a honeymoon, and after Katie left to start dinner, Henry told her to drop it. Mike returned with Henry's pills and helped him up to the shower. Katie and Maddie talked about Katie's best friendship with Henry while peeling potatoes in the living room (!). Maddie had a fantasy where Henry and Katie remarried and thanked her. While Katie walked Mike out, Henry called Maddie on trying to get him back together with Katie and realized she put the slipper on the stairs that caused his fall. Outside, Mike and Katie laughed about how Maddie was trying to get Katie and Henry back together and they kissed.

On the roof, Will planned a special weekend in Chicago but Celia told him that she's leaving Oakdale for Montega. Celia showed him the letter Rafael sent her about giving their mother a restaurant so she felt she had to go help her family. She assured Will that she isn't running away, but he had a hard time understanding. She told Will to come visit and he said he'd miss her. Meanwhile, at Al's, Margo came upon Gwen and Casey's argument. Casey and Gwen covered, and Gwen stormed off. Margo demanded to know what was really going on. Casey said Gwen didn't appreciate his advice about the baby. Margo wondered why Casey was concerned with Gwen's baby since he didn't like her and wondered what Casey has gotten himself into. Gwen arrived at the roof and Celia told her she was leaving. Will took off for a bit, so Celia asked Gwen to be there for Will. Celia then called Casey and asked him to come over. Casey showed up and Celia told him she was leaving. Casey begged her to stay as Will returned. Celia told Casey she knew he was a good person and Casey said he never meant to hurt her. Will gave Celia the bracelet to remember him by and they kissed goodbye. Casey blamed Gwen and she told him one day all his lies will catch up with him.

Holden and Lily informed Lucinda on Luke's problems and how Keith taking Luke flying seemed to help. Holden told Lily that he wants to pay Keith for Luke's flying lessons. At the farm, Keith gave Luke flying books to read. Keith got a mysterious phone call about a run tonight but turned it down. Luke found a file marked Urgent among the books but Keith grabbed it and said it was none of his business. Keith apologized for snapping at him. Luke revealed the kids were staying at the farm, so Keith called Lily and asked her to meet him at the Lakeview. Lily took off and Lucinda invited Holden to join her for dinner later. When Holden came back he called Lucinda on the little dinner date that she had obviously set up for Lily and Holden. Holden returned to the farm and told Luke that Lucinda set up a dinner. Holden admitted he still loved Lily so Luke encouraged him to call Lily up and ask her out for dinner. Holden returned to Lucinda's and she called Lily, who was at the Lakeview with Keith, and asked her to have dinner with her. Lily apologized to Keith for ruining his plans. Lucinda took off and said the rest was up to Holden. Keith went to call Lily but her phone was at the Lakeview. He called Lucinda's and got Holden, so he knew what was up. Lily returned to Lucinda's to find dinner — and Holden — waiting for her.

Luke and Holden met on the rooftop and Holden immediately blasted Luke for drinking. Luke told him he went flying with Keith and loved it. Meanwhile, Lily called Keith over to Lucinda's to see where they stood after their argument. Keith figured Lily didn't trust him but she insisted that wasn't true. Lily said Luke needs some stability in his life. Luke told Lily that flying changed his life and it could change Luke's too. Holden and Luke showed up and Holden surprised everyone by agreeing that Keith should teach Luke to fly. Lily said that as long as Holden was okay with it, Luke could do it. New best pals Luke and Keith took off and Holden told Lily he agreed for her sake since she's going to have Keith in her life.

At The Lakeview, Jennifer caught Barbara moving baby things out of their room and into storage. An upset Jennifer took off and Barbara ran into Margo. They got to talking about babies, and Barbara revealed that Will wasn't the father of Gwen's baby. Speaking of Gwen's baby, Casey confronted Gwen at Al's about her wanting to get their baby back. Gwen told him it had nothing to do with him but Casey tried to talk her out of it. Meanwhile, Carly filled Jack in on her showdown with Gwen and Jack said he'd go talk to Gwen. Jack found Gwen at Al's and talked about the hardships that come with being a parent, but Gwen told him she knows about the trust fund Rosanna set up for the child. Jack invited Gwen out to his house so hopefully they could all reach a compromise and he said he'd talk to Carly. Jack took off and a lurking Casey freaked to learn that Gwen gave the baby to Rosanna and Craig (his uncle). Casey told Gwen it was in the baby's best interest to leave him with Jack and Carly. Margo walked into Al's and witnessed them arguing over the baby.

Paul compared the footprints (one from Rosanna's things, one from the baby at Carly's) but hid them when Emily came into the room. Paul maintained something went down when Jennifer's baby was born, but Emily assumed that he was just trying to find someone to blame for the death of Jennifer's baby. She took off and Paul met with a neonatal nurse. He found out that one of the nurses came into a large sum of money and took off that night, and that Rosanna was asking similar questions right before her accident. Jennifer then showed up and recognized the nurse, who took off. Paul covered that he was going to make a donation to the neonatal unit in memory of her son. Paul comforted Jennifer, but when she left he made a call to meet Craig in jail. Meanwhile, Emily showed up at Carly's. Carly told her that Gwen wants the baby back but that she plans on keeping the baby until Rosanna gets better. Carly asked Paul and Emily to be the baby's godparents (!) and made arrangements to have the baby christened that night. Em took off, Jack returned and told Carly that Gwen knows about the trust fund. Carly believed Gwen was in it for the money and vowed that no one was going to take Rosanna's baby away.

Paul studied the baby's footprint and flashed back on Rosanna saying "wrong foot." Will showed up and Paul asked him when Gwen had her baby and he said it was the same night as Jennifer. Will told Paul that the babies were in the NICU at the same time, looked alike and that Gwen didn't take care of herself during the pregnancy while Jennifer did. (Smoking during pregnancy and not taking prenatal vitamins = bad.) Meanwhile, in the Battle of the Blondes, Gwen told Carly she wanted her baby back. Gwen warned Carly that she had 30 days to change her mind. Carly offered to show Gwen what full-time motherhood was like and tried to reassure Gwen on what a great home and family she and Jack can offer her baby. Carly then suggested Gwen could see the baby from time to time and that they should trust each other and not involve lawyers. Gwen called Carly on trying to trick her and Carly grabbed Gwen's arm as she went to get the baby. Carly pointed out that Gwen can't afford to feed the baby or get health insurance, but Gwen was insistent and said she'd be back...with her lawyer. Paul showed up and Carly told him about her showdown with Gwen. Paul insisted that the baby remain with Jack and Carly. Paul then held the baby and told Carly to go relax for a bit. Alone with the baby, Paul took the infant's footprint (um, wouldn't Carly notice the ink on the baby's foot?). As Paul went to leave, Carly said she was happy they were family for a short time. Outside of the house, Paul examined the footprint of Rosanna's baby...and got to thinkin'...

Meg called Dusty over to Lucinda's and told him that he owed her since their last date was interrupted by Jen. They went to the rooftop where the kids usually hang out, drank beer and talked about stars. Meg made a crack about how they weren't really alone thanks to Jennifer, but Dusty reassured Meg that he and Jennifer are just friends. They kissed and she wondered how he felt about her. Dusty said she was the best surprise that had happened to him in a while and they kissed some more.

Will and Celia went to Al's Diner after a movie. Tom and Margo showed up with a surly Casey in tow, and he was disgusted to see Will and Celia kissing. Will got a call from Paul, who asked Will to come over. Will and Celia agreed to meet up later. Tom and Margo witnessed the tension between Will and Casey and Margo vowed to find out what was wrong with Casey. Casey flirted with Loose Leah, a girl from school who invited him over because her parents were gone — until she saw him looking at Celia. Sierra called Celia and she took off. Casey smoothed things over with Loose Leah, but they ran into Gwen at the door. Gwen asked for a raise and if her baby could stay in the back room, but Al refused. Tom and Margo spied Gwen with her lawyer and were relieved they didn't have to worry about those kinds of things with their sons (insert laughter here). Gwen told her lawyer she wants the baby back and he informed her Rosanna left a trust fund for the baby and he would request a court date. Back at Lucinda's, Celia and Sierra talked about how she didn't want to get too serious with Will. Sierra reassured her that whatever she was feeling was okay. When Will showed up, Celia returned the bracelet he gave her but they agreed to meet the next day.
