In a moodily lit hospital room, Dusty told a random cop that he was shot by Colonel. Winston. Mayer. Meanwhile, Holden and Lily raced to the campground (well, she was sort of breathlessly chasing after him as he snapped at her dismissively) and Winston took aim at Luke, who was happily gathering firewood in a clearing, almost Bambi-like in his innocent sweetness. "You should have kept your distance, boy. You should have stayed away from my son," Winston snarled. Luckily, Noah obliviously walked up and put his arm around Luke, effectively saving his life. Noah wanted to get frisky already, but Luke (while delighted) was a little nervous about getting close with the colonel around and cutely flirted with him, while a disgusted Winston spied through his rifle sight. The gun jammed and then he heard Lily and Holden calling for their son, so he ran directly to a stunned Luke and aimed the rifle at him. Luke dropped his wood and grabbed the gun; they were struggling when Noah and the Snyders rushed to the scene. Winston shoved Luke down a hill before Holden tackled him and Lily tearfully knelt at her injured son's side. After Holden wrestled the gun from his hands, Winston cryptically told Noah to think about all that he's done for him, then ran away.

Meanwhile, Margo visited Dusty. "Once you charged me with murder, I figured you didn't trust me," he mumbled when Margo wondered why he hadn't shared any information. The annoyed cop then noted that if his insistence on behaving like a vigilante ended up getting anyone else hurt, he'd be in more trouble. Speaking of — Dr. Bob reported to Lily and Holden that Luke had been stabilized but he's still in surgery as a shell shocked Noah sat nearby. When Margo arrived, he offered whatever info he could about his father's survival skills. "Do you have anybody you can call?" she asked him. "Not anymore," he said sadly. Margo and Lily figured that Noah didn't know about his poor dead madam mother; Lily was relieved to hear that Dusty was okay, which only irritated Holden more. Noah offered a stuttered apology to a sympathetic Lily before leaving with Margo. Holden had plenty of forgiveness for Noah, but none for Lily.

Katie showed that her edges were starting to fray when she snapped at Jack for not having helped at all with the purchase of their new house. He said that he doesn't expect her to never get frustrated, especially under the circumstances, then apologetically broke it to Katie that he's going to be watching out for Carly 24/7. She was completely understanding and offered to help out more. Margo later offered her comfort, support and unsolicited advice as Jack guiltily confided that he thinks it was a mistake to just tell Katie that he'd be staying with Carly, rather than ask for her opinion. Brad thought the same thing, and noted that to Katie over coffee, before agreeing to accompany her on a visit to Carly's.

J.J. had to make a diorama for science class but it's not due until next week. Carly awesomely suggested that her son procrastinate on his homework but then they got busy with the scissors and he noticed her shaking hand. She assured him that she feels fine and he shouldn't worry, but she did tell him what he should do if she was really in trouble. They were sharing a warm moment when Brad and Katie showed up, to J.J.'s chagrin. Carly scolded her son for his rudeness and let the guests in. He initially resisted their attempts to bring him to the studio for a big surprise, but Carly (with Brad and Katie's prompting) convinced him to go. There, the star-struck boy got a jersey from legendary New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms, who had been a guest on OAKDALE NOW. Unfortunately, J.J. stomped off in a snit when Katie joined them for a photo. "You're just waiting until my mom dies so you can be with my dad," he yelled.

At home, Jack arrived to find Carly on the floor. After asking him not to call the doctor, she went upstairs to freshen up as he found — and watched — the video she'd made for him. She came downstairs to find him near tears. "I meant what I said," she told him, adding that he wasn't supposed to see it. She tearfully pleaded for one little thing from him: a last kiss.

What is the name of the area where the boys went on their fishing trip?
